That's when Ethan came to the rescue and scrambled and this was The only positive thing about my experience selling my truck to this place was Ethan. The rest of the experience while me and my 14 year old daughter sat here for an hour waiting for my husband to arrive was a joke. We weren't offered water, nobody asked if we needed anything, nothing. All we got to hear was vulgar comments amongst the car salesmen and the trash they talked either about customers who walked out the door or who they were on the phone with. Then walks in my husband and immediately Roberto comes over and says hey everything good man, you need anything and immediately offers him a water and asked if he preferred it to be cold or room temperature and then looked at me said oh do you need anything after I sat there by myself with my daughter for over an hour! AVOID THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. My Jeep is a 2024 with only about 10,000 miles, and I was dealing with a clutch failure. I dealt with Matt, the Sales Manager, and Marek, my Service Advisor, and the way this was handled completely destroyed my trust in this dealership's service department. I repeatedly asked for documentation regarding my Jeep's PCM/software updates and service history. Instead of getting clear answers, I was told that certain documentation was "proprietary" and could not be given to customers. I eventually took my Jeep to ANOTHER Jeep dealership. That dealership WARRANTIED my clutch and told me the software updates my Jeep needed could have prevented the clutch failure. After hearing that, I had even more questions about why the first dealership was so unwilling to provide the documentation I had been asking for. Based on what the second dealership told me, I now seriously question whether the first dealership completed the updates and procedures they should have. Rather than giving me clear records and explanations, I felt like I was being stonewalled. This is a 2024 Jeep with only about 10,000 miles. A clutch failing this early deserves serious investigation and clear answers. There was another issue that made me question their records. My repair order says they performed an oil change, but I did not receive the normal service video I usually get, and they did not even change the oil-change sticker in my windshield. I cannot say for certain that the oil was not changed, but after everything else that happened, I no longer feel comfortable simply trusting that the work listed on the repair order was actually completed. I also emailed the General Manager directly about everything that happened and have received NO RESPONSE. Marek had also discussed concerns with me about whether the factory clutch was adequate for the weight of the Jeep and Colorado driving conditions. Yet I was still being put in a position where I could have ended up paying thousands of dollars for a clutch failure on a nearly new vehicle. I am extremely glad I got a second opinion. I do want to be fair: Nate in sales is GREAT. My experiences with Nate have been completely different, and he has always been professional. But the SERVICE DEPARTMENT is absolute trash. Poor communication. Lack of transparency. Documentation I requested being called "proprietary." Questions left unanswered. Concerns about whether all listed service was actually performed. Then another Jeep dealership looks at the same vehicle, warranties the clutch, and tells me software updates could have prevented the failure. Jeep owners: GET A SECOND OPINION before paying this service department thousands of dollars. Document everything. Ask for every repair order. Ask which recalls, campaigns, and software updates were checked against your VIN. Ask what was actually completed. And if they refuse to provide documentation regarding your own vehicle, start asking even more questions. I would never trust this service department with another major repair. read more

I bought a 2013 Jeep Wrangler a couple of months ago and had overheating problems within the first week and a half. The dealership told me that they had just changed the radiator so I was a little confused. After taking it to the mountains and it overheating on the highway I decided to take it to my mechanic. The thermostat was sticking. No one could have seen that (I understand) but it was because of stop leak that had been added at some point at an exuberate amount. My mechanic said he had never seen some much on a thermostat. and although they got temperature down it's still not at the specks and that could mean there is still a clog somewhere that could lead to bigger issues down the line like a head gasket etc. That most definitely should have been caught and posted by the mechanic that changed that radiator. Now I understand that it's a used car and you by it "as is" but you wouldn't expect any issues before I even got my tags. After $700.00 changing my thermostat I brought it back to the dealer ship to show the salesman and the used car manager. I was not expecting anything (again I realize it's a used car) but they did nothing except telling me "thanks for bringing this to our attention." They didn't offer (as a sign of good faith) a oil change carwash or any kind of compensation for their ineptitude. Just "have a nice day". I still have even received the information for my tags and had to get an extension. I will NEVER come back to this dealership! This was not a month ago. It happened on the 24th of July. read more

Purchased a vehicle on November 15th. After multiple calls to the AutoNations, trash customer service line and a visit to the incompetent dealership, I am unable to register my vehicle due to a lost title. Purchasing a vehicle should not be this difficult. Autonation was eager to sell me a car but does not have the decency to call me and tell me that there was a delay or they sold me a vehicle without having the title. 1/10 experience and believe me, I will let them know how terrible of an experience this is. Also, I came in with a pre-approved letter and they told me they could get me a better deal using *Autonation* financing. They ran my credit 7 times with 7 different finance companies. Incredibly disingenuous. Not to mention the 1200.00 gap insurance that was 70% markup. That was my fault. I should have done more research. Bought 2025 jeep grand Cherokee with 800 mlles on it. Put 200 miles on it and transmission is out. Slips out of gear and revs on highway. Causing vehicle to coast to a stop and resetting shift from drive to park back to drive. Contacted dealer, about a rental since jeep is now in the shop for who knows how long. Told they will have to have management approve a rental. No car for work now, no rental, no return call. Huge mistake buying from them. We purchased a lifetime battery from them in 2019. In 2022 it failed, and they replaced it. Again now, it is failing, and they will not honor their own lifetime battery. Said they already replaced it once, but it's still in the car's lifetime and needs it again. Very unhappy that they won't stand by their product. read more

I recently bought my third car from Autonation (second from Jeep West) and this is the first time I've walked away without saying never again. My husband and I both remarked about how much the cat business has changed since we bought my last car 10 years ago. Now it felt like the sales pitch was you either want it or you don't, and if you don't it's fine because someone else will. So whatever. I did find the sales guy at Jeep West WAY more knowledgeable about Jeeps than that the woman we'd seen previously at Land Rover, and in a way the incredibly low pressure we felt was nice. All in all we're very happy with our new car. I do want to say a special thank you to Debbie, who handles registration and titles for used cars. It's taken a really long time for us to get our title processed, and she's been really helpful in making sure we got new temporary plates while we wait. read more

The GM assured us that we would be able to get an appointment with several days notice. If you call, expect to wait over 30 days. What can I say that hasn't been said? Brought my Jeep in for emergency service as the air suspension was failing during a cross country road trip and the Jeep was under powered. Ben seemed really friendly to lure you in, then immediately found something not covered under warranty to fix. They claimed the fuel was contaminated and the wanted $1100 to fix before they would continue to troubleshoot. I agreed, they claimed the fixed that and there were no other issues. They wouldn't respond to my text or messages and seemed newly ignorant of the problem when we spoke again the following week. Ben even admitted it seemed to sit really low after sitting all weekend. He said it was probably because it's on a hill or the shocks (also not covered). I drive away, and power is obviously lacking, even worse than before honestly. And after parking overnight, the left side of the Jeep is completely bottomed out. It has the MaxCare extended warranty, but it matters little with an incompetent shop that seems to only want to "fix" non-warranty problems. We are out $1100, a week of traveling, hotel and Uber bills, and are now worse off than before. Avoid this shop like the plague. read more

Was presented with a signed set of financing options including rates after providing my info so they could run my credit, took an hour to think about it and then when I came back was told that they didn't run my credit earlier but, now that they had, I didn't qualify for the rates they had shown me. I have since checked my credit report and they *did* run my credit on Saturday before that conversation. I told them Saturday I would not be buying the vehicle since they refused to honor the terms of the deal that they presented. They also put in three more inquiries the following Monday morning from different company names each one of which reduces credit score. Do not do business with this dealership! I took my jeep in for a repair and after three days they finally said the problem wasn't what I thought and was a bunch of smaller problems they needed to fix to get heat in my car so I paid nearly $2700 to have them do the work. Picked my car up after 3 days and no heat and the check engine light on. So I took it back after a few days. Then they had it for 2 days and said now you have heat. I had heat in two vents but the car overheated in the way home. I had to have it towed back and haven't been able to get a straight answer in 2 days. So now I'm in a rental. My experience buying a used vehicle from AutoNation Chrysler Jeep West was consistent with that of several other reviewers on this page. AutoNation's pre-sale inspection was not thorough, and they would not stand behind the used vehicle they sold me. I bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD in July 2021 with 86k miles. Three weeks later, after minimal use, the swirl motor failed slowing the Jeep's acceleration to the point that it was unsafe to drive. I paid $1,000 for a tow to bring the Jeep back to Denver. AutoNation took a full week to diagnose the problem with this vehicle, so I paid $500 for a rental car to cover that week and will likely be out even more by the time this Jeep is fixed. To get the Jeep back on the road requires a $3,000 repair, which AutoNation refuses to pay for. So now, less than a month after purchase, I am out at least another $4,500 on top of the purchase price for the vehicle. AutoNation has been communicative throughout this process, but has not provided a satisfactory solution. I would not buy a vehicle from them again. read more
