I had this:: This may be the worst dealership experience I have ever had, which is saying something. I called about a used Porsche Boxter they had just gotten onto their lot. I got a written out the door price quote emailed to me. I was prepared to put down a deposit and told I was first in line to do so. I was told I needed to wait until the next business day to put down the deposit. Unfortunately, the next business day they told me they had spoken with "corporate" and adjusted the price of the Boxter UP by $5k. The kicker is over the phone they told me it was a "no negotiation dealership" and "the price you see is the price you get." I guess the "no negotiation" only goes one way - buyers can't negotiate down, but the dealer can increase the price by almost 20% on a whim. Congratulations so salesman Erjon and used car manager John for losing a sale and a customer. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone and I will never shop at an AutoNation again. read more

I cannot overstate how disappointing our experience has been with AutoNation. My father purchased a brand new vehicle, and within four days (with only 77 miles on the odometer), the car experienced a major failure. Since then, the vehicle has been sitting in the service department for 13 days, way longer than he was even able to use it. Initially, the salesperson made it seem like this situation would be made right, implying a replacement could be an option. However, when the manager stepped in, my dad was told that getting into a different vehicle would cost an additional $10,000, which is completely unacceptable for a defective brand-new car. Here again, need a basic oil change and apparently needed software update for my truck infotainment system. No biggie, but they didn't tell me had to get engineers from Toyota to fly over to install software. 4 hrs later and still haven't gotten oil change and still sitting in the waiting area. Made appointment ahead of time and my service advisor is ignoring me even tho never gave her any disrespect. Also several times I been here, no one knows how to update customer service records to have the right phone number. They keep calling someone else with updates. Award winning customer service. Horrible Service Experience!!!! I emailed the General Manager (Chafik Amrani) previously but they never replied. I brought my 2024 Tacoma in for 2 recalls on 11/24/2025. The next day my girlfriend drove to Tampa. On her return trip she noticed the brakes were not responding as normal. A few minutes later a warning light came on stating "low break pressure". I called the service department and reported the warning light. I was told that " I needed to bring in the truck so it can be looked at". When I brought the truck in I had to push the break pedal to the floor just to stop. I was advised by a technician and the service manager "Chad" (I think that is his name) that when the recalled soft brake line was replaced the hard break line was cracked. The truck was unsafe to drive. I was leaving for Georgia early the next day. The truck is our only vehicle. I was given a loaner but I was told by "Rocky" that rentals can not be driven out of state. I had to cancel our Thanksgiving plans. On Wednesday morning I was notified the truck was fixed. I was told that this time a Master mechanic worked on my truck and the issue was the soft break line was either installed incorrectly or it was faulty. I had asked to have my truck on a lift so I could make sure all of the break fluid was cleaned off. "Chad" stated that I would be able to look underneath the truck. When I got there my truck was just driven out. When I asked about looking underneath the truck Chad instructed me to get down on the floor and I can see underneath. He did offer to put it on a lift but I had wasted enough time at your dealership. The fact that they have unqualified technicians working for them is the reason I will never buy, sell, or have my truck serviced at Auto Nation Pinellas Park. They had many chances to correct this but I was repeatedly just told "we are sorry". read more

I recently purchased a 2023 Toyota Camry from AutoNation Toyota in Pinellas Park, Florida. When I test drove the car, the AutoNation told me, my wife, and my son that the car had new tires. They didn't. My mechanic showed me that one of the tires had a bubble in it and told me I needed new tires. When I brought this to the attention of the representative who sold me the car--in a certified letter--he ignored me. Since then, he has never responded to my complaint. I purchased a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 from AutoNation Toyota on October 28, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Before buying, I told the sales rep that I live in Orlando and work in Sanford. He assured me that this was not an issue and that I could return the vehicle within five days or 250 miles if anything went wrong. Within the first 24 hours, the check engine light came on. When I tried to return the truck, the AutoNation near me refused to help and told me I had to drive it all the way back to Pinellas. After doing exactly that, I was suddenly told I could not return it due to mileage--even though it had only been one day. They claimed to have done $5,000 worth of repairs, but most of the charges were for minor things like wipers and cleaning. They kept the truck for two weeks, and less than a week after getting it back, the check engine light came on again. I've been lied to, misled, and ignored by management throughout this entire process. Because of the ongoing engine issues and the dealership's dishonesty, I do not feel safe driving this vehicle or putting my employees in it. I paid over $28,000 cash and have had the truck in my possession for only a few days while spending more money on rentals and losing business income. This entire experience has been unprofessional, stressful, and unacceptable. The only bright spot in this whole stressful endeavor was that I purchased the extended engine warranty, not knowing what I was getting into and now I'm losing more time and money daily having a rental that they provided. This may be the worst experience buying a car I've ever had in all of my 68 years on this planet. The sales person, Brie, was outstanding, the business guy was very good, but the process was a cluster f$@€. The car I wanted was at their Fort Myers store and it took 2 hours just to get someone to put hands on the car and say it was available. The whole process took over 4 hours. And I was paying with a trade in and CASH! After buying the car I found a better deal for a newer car, same model, Crown, at another dealership so I cancelled this purchase at AutoNation. Doing so wasn't difficulty. But then they kept sending me emails and texts about the purchase as if I made it. Thanked me for bringing it in for service. Asked me to review the experience. All after I had cancelled, legally, the purchase. And then when I out a stop payment on the check I wrote, these dumb MFers referred me to a collection agency for a "bad check" for a car I never even saw or put hands on. The only bright spots were Brie/Brittany, who had to sit with me for hours waiting for a simple answer - is the car there and available? This may be the worst dealership of all time. Be careful what you buy. Toyota is manufacturing defective paint vehicles and not committing to fixing them. I own a 2022 Toyota Tacoma truck that is only 2 1/2 years old and still under factory warranty. A defective paint issue has been identified by Toyota for certain model years and specifically their white color. Contacting Toyota directly about the issue I was told several different explanations on the problem being covered and not covered. There was no solution with Toyota customer care directly. Contacting the specific dealership about Toyota's paint defect where I purchased the vehicle, Pinellas Park Toyota Auto Nation, and it has now been a month and a half with no resolution and only a denial of my warranty claim. I was originally told paint issues were not covered under my factory warranty. Then, they changed their minds. Now, I have no commitment to correcting what is clearly a paint defect in the vehicle after a few months of being told to just call back and check. The notice I was not sent in the mail is attached to this review. I can tell you not all affected vehicles with the Toyota paint defect are being contacted as I am one of them that never received the notice Toyota gave me when I inquired about the problem. There is supposedly a database of affected paint defect vehicles. I was told because my VIN was not on it currently that it would not be covered. Under factory warranty, they have also now denied my claim. The truck only has a little over 20k miles on it. Auto Nation Toyota Pinellas Park just tells me they are not responsible and it is a Toyota problem. Because they are a representative for Toyota and do work under recalls and warranty, they are the line of communication to Toyota for me as a consumer. Be careful before purchasing a Toyota from Pinellas Park Auto Nation. They are not interested in ensuring customer satisfaction and standing behind Toyota manufacturing. They only want to sell you a vehicle and be done with it. I would also be cautious in Toyota Auto Nation Pinellas Park honoring any extended warranty you buy. This paint defect is a much bigger story with Toyota vehicles as I am under the impression Toyota and its dealership are trying to keep the paint defect issue as quiet as they can to limit the costs associated with the problem. Look for another vehicle to buy other than a Toyota. Spending close to 40k on a truck that falls apart under a factory warranty for defective paint and is not covered isn't acceptable as a consumer. I had went to four other Toyota Dealerships while shopping for my Corolla and chose Autonation because the deals were by far the best, the warranty they offer is the best, and the staff was by far the most professional and kind of any dealership I've been to. Had an incredibly smooth time buying a Jeep Grand Cherokee here all online and flying into the state to pick it up. Gregory Schwartz was a great rep to work with and kept things honest like I asked for, but I have to give major props to Mike the service manager. That man needs a raise. He went above and beyond to fix any repairable items on the car I asked for and had recorded in the "I owe you" from seeing the car in person, including coordinating the shipment of an entire infotainment replacement system to my address up in Virginia. They also did do an oil change but didn't reset the computer, so I did one at home. I brought this up to Mike and got a balance and alignment done at no cost to compensate, Absolutely AMAZING service. The manager was also very helpful working with me in another state to keep things easy and make the deal happen. No gimmicks, no games, just an honest sale and great price. When it took over 7 months to repair a porche FOB that we were told was to be replaced which it was by their key service person that used a mimic(China) knock off. Oh it gets better, they did not believe us and first said the battery they replaced, then excuses, then excuses, then their key/FOB jokster they use and perhaps know for low cutting cost replaced with a knock off. Long story short given my VA nurse daughter got the run around they finally after 7 months agreed take to the porche dealership, so indeed that's when we found out a knock off and yes after 7months they paid the replacement. My point is I thought big name companies were not a pay and thank you sorry but we got your cash and well not sure if we can help you, but again we have your money for your porche so bye bye. As a first time car buyer my experience here was wonderful and I have definitely been recommending everyone I know to come here. I bought a new Corolla here two weeks ago and I didn't feel like I had to play the typical games of dealerships here. Everyone was immediately welcoming and at ease which was a huge relief after just having come from the Wesley Chapel Toyota where it felt hostile the moment I walked in. Adel was very friendly and easy to talk to. It didn't feel like he wanted to play any games and I went in looking for a Corolla and he immediately showed me the Corollas. Wesley Chapel kept trying to make me look at other more expensive cars and it took an hour before they would even let me go look at the car I came in for because they wanted me to only look at more expensive ones. Wesley chapel also seemed to have no clue on what was in their inventory whereas at Pinellas Park Toyota I asked about three Corollas and their staff knew the status on all of them from the top of their head. Everyone was very kind and mannerly whereas at Wesley Chapel I could hardly get a please and thank you. I am also a grad student with a tight budget and Pinellas Park was willing to work with me quickly to get an amazing deal whereas at Wesley Chapel I was told I was "delusional" to get a car within my price range. I was in and out with my car at Pinellas within 3 hours whereas I was at Wesley Chapel for 3 hours and got absolutely nowhere in figuring out even a price point for a car. It felt as though they genuinely wanted to help me and take care of me at Pinellas Park and I honestly think I even will drive from Brandon to Pinellas Park to get my car serviced there because of how great their customer service was. Shoutout to Adel in Sales and Mike Henkel in Finance. Both were amazing, very helpful and honest. Never did I feel I was getting scammed which is rare as a young woman. I already have recommended my coworker who last week got a corolla as well and also had an amazing experience. I made an appointment for an oil change on my Toyota and arrived right on time however I wasn't checked in until 20 mins later. I was asked if I wanted to sell my car by two different salesmen. They were extremely pushy and kept asking me questions even though I said no thanks. This is where you will find your typical "sleazy car salesmen." Don't buy into it! They will low ball your trade in value of your car and try to sell you a brand new car to drive away today. Then after waiting an hour, I finally asked if they can drive me home or call an Uber. Thankfully they have complimentary van service so one of the guys gave me a ride home. The driver was very nice and easy to talk to so I gave this place an extra star. I ended up waiting another 2 hours at home so it took 3 hours to get my oil change. They tried to upsell me on so many maintenance items and for the price they charged, I declined all of them. I could easily go somewhere else for a much cheaper price. I don't even know what the point of scheduling an appointment is if I still ended up waiting 3 hours for a simple oil change. I brought my car in to get an oil change that was going to take 3-4 hours and so I told the service advisor the day before that I would need a shuttle ride home. Shuttle took 1 hour and 45 minutes just to get a ride home. Truly unacceptable. This is only one issue that I've incurred with this dealership over the last year. They previously scratched by drivers side door our putting my vehicle on the lift and it took 8 months to get it fixed after numerous phone calls and emails to Steve, the service manager who was VERY rude and the General Manger, Chafik Amrani who was absolutely useless. After purchasing 7 vehicles over the last 19 years I definitely will no longer be returning to this dealership. I highly suggest you shop elsewhere. read more

This would be a five-star rating if I could only rate my service advisor Hope. She is fantastic. The issue is with the service itself. I purchased a 2023 Tundra Platinum Hybrid from this dealership. I hired the dealership to install a leveling kit on the front suspension soon after I purchased the truck so it would be warranted. Took it home and found out they did not adjust the headlights to account for the lift. The shop fixed that, and I soon started hearing a clunking noise in the front end whenever I would change direction or turn the steering wheel on tight turns. In addition, one of the tires rubbed on the wheel well causing damage. I took it back and they could not find the source of the clunking. Every six months thereafter (four additional visits) when I would go in for regular maintenance, I asked for the technicians to figure out what the clanking noise was. Each time I left with no resolution to the issue. In August of 25 after complaining of the front-end clanking and a persistent rattling in the passenger front door they determined that they should have retorqued the bolts after driving about 100 miles and again at 1,000 miles to ensure they remain secure. They finally found that the driver front lower control arm was loose. Unfortunately, this caused uneven wear on the tires and a hole in the wheel well. After several attempts to fix the rattle in the passenger front door, I was told by the technician that there was nothing they could do because it is a characteristic of the Tundra. What!? A $75k Toyota Platinum has a rattling issue that is a characteristic of the vehicle? I have been a loyal Toyota owner, and this is not the Toyota I have always known and trusted. Add in multiple safety recalls, brake pads that shift in the caliper with no resolution, and door trim breaking three times simply from opening the rear door, I am no longer a loyal Tundra customer or Toyota customer for that matter. read more
