Outside great, inside not so much! I brought my jeep in for a clean. I bought the middle package. I'm not a picky person, I just wanted a basic wash and clean inside and out. The jeep looked great on the outside when they were finished, so I tipped them and left to run errands out of town. I noticed the screen on my radio had finger prints all over it and thought that was odd since they just cleaned it. Went shopping, opened the back of the jeep to put items in back and realized they didn't touch the back at all. Looked around the rest of the vehicle and noticed what a crappy job they did. It was my son's birthday, so no time to go back. $42 plus a tip for a half you know what job is irritating. I won't be back. Not worth the money. read more

Equivalent quality to a drive through car wash + an interior wipe down. Always think it'll be better the next time, never is. Most recently - visible spots / bird droppings left on exterior that just takes some elbow grease to wipe off, dust left on dashboard (so it was untouched), cup holders not wiped out. Previously - black tire shine kicked up on white exterior as I drive off. Truly a 1-star job. A better option is to pay $200 for a full 5-hour detail across town. Or just run it through a drive through was and wipe your own interior down. read more

Extremely disappointed. First time visit, paid for the Ultimate. What I got was basically a hose down and 2 minute wipe by one person. Items on the description: Hand Towel Dry - Water stains on hood and down sides of body Dash, Door and Console wipe down. - I requested that the instrument panel not be wiped. Shift boot was vacuumed, door panels were not wiped down. Cracks and crevices, blowout with compressed air - Not performed. Door panel crevices untouched, hard plastic switch services still coated with dust. Fuel Door wipe - not performed Leather Seat Wipedown - the only wiping done produced a couple of stains that I have not been able to completely remove. My back seats have not been touched in the 9 years I've owned the car and are in new condition. Interior carpet vacuumed - No vacuuming was performed interior or the trunk. I did not see the trunk opened in the post-wash area. Brake dust removal - Nope. Not even sure why this is on the list, unless brake dust removal consists of squirting it with water as it rolls through the rinse Bugs removed - Nope Tar Removal - Nope Rust Gard - I don't believe this exists, what is it? Ceramic Duragard - I don't believe this exists. Nothing applied to car body post-wash tunnel. If it's just sprayed on in the tunnel, ok. It doesn't seem to do anything. Car does not feel waxed or otherwise any different than bare paint. The attached pics show pollen sticking like a magnet. Exhaust Tips - Only touched when the rag wiping the bumped brushed over them. Wiping down the body, they didn't even wipe the rocker panels, there is still dirt on the body, taillights were barely touched. Some of my photos were taken the next day, and there is a dusting of pollen, but the uncleaned areas can still be seen. I wasn't expecting a full detailing, but this isn't even a decent wash, let alone paying for 'upgrades' that weren't even performed. Complete rip-off, and actually produced damage. (Seats) I get it, it's a car wash, but don't offer services or upgrades that don't get done. If I have to do half the work after I get home, it's not worth it. I wouldn't go back if I was paid to go there. 1 star rating is still too high. read more

Autopia has proven to be a great disappointment. I've been using the Livermore location for 8 years now, but lately the level of finish work has gotten worse. Just an hour ago, I went to get groceries after getting the car washed here. For the second time IN A ROW(!) I see that my trunk compartment was never vacuumed, also leaving dirt and debris in the trunk surround. I'll be looking for another wash shop - or just pay a neighborhood kid cash to get the car done right. BTW, at 37.00 plus my 5.00 tip, it's just not worth it.... Oh, I forgot: I called them 4 times - just to see If I could swing by and get the trunk vacuumed - yet no one picked-up the phone. read more

I went to this car wash ONE time back in June for a simple wash. I paid with my credit card and left -- nothing unusual. A month later, I noticed a $54.95 charge for a "VIP membership" I NEVER signed up for, authorized, or even discussed. They have now charged me this fee every month for 5 months, totaling $274.75, despite the fact that I have not used their service even once since my single visit. This is unacceptable and highly unethical. Signing customers up for memberships without permission is essentially fraud. When I contacted them about it, there was no accountability, no explanation, and no proactive solution offered and was simply told that this has happened in the past and they will cancel future charges which is yet to happen. If you value your money, avoid this place. A simple car wash turned into months of unauthorized charges. read more

I was signed up for the monthly plan auto renew without my authorization. I went to the car wash for the first time and the gentleman said that if I paid $9 more I could get the car wash for 30 days. He stated it would end March 7th and never mentioned an automatic renewal. In fact the way he explained it I would have just 30 days to use the endless car wash. I am disappointed that I now have to go through the process of contacting the company to get a refund for the charge of another month. Buyer beware. read more

They don't offer hand car washes. So have them tape down the upper corners of your front bumper. Otherwise you will have to take your car to a mechanic to repair the popped our bumper. read more

This is what they have done to my G wagon and I have filed an incident with them, called them, went to the physical location so I can see the cameras. They emailed me with a blurred photograph of my car entering the car wash and showing me that the scratches were already there but it was the dirt they tried to clean at the same spot and made scratches. I have told them to send me the video of the car being cleaned as they have cameras everywhere, but it's been 3 requests already via email and their website, but no one has reached out now making me go through legal route for this. Such small scratch is going to cost me 12k since the original paint is a metallic Matte. Shame on these folks and definitely they are hiding their fault as they don't want to share the video of the car cleaning. Save your car and money. I used to receive excellent service at the Livermore Autopia, but unfortunately, the quality has really declined. I paid $40 for a car wash, yet the interior wasn't vacuumed, trash was left behind, and the windows were streaked with marks. The inside clearly wasn't wiped down properly either. This is the best car wash in town! If you can figure out how to get in to it, lol The address is on L street, but that is the front of the lot, where all the cars exit from after they have been washed and hand-dried. There is no drivable entry here. To get to the entrance, you'll need to get onto Chestnut St and turn onto K St. The entrance is on the right at the end of K. Jeff at the service intake booth is great. Always friendly, always greets me by name, and he looks out for me to make sure I'm getting the best package price for the service level I want. I've been a recurring VIP customer for years and have taken my cars (old and brand new) here without any hesitation that the crew will do a wonderful job. I've found that once my car (full size sedan) makes it through the wash, it takes around 15 mins for drying. This place is popular, so don't be surprised if you see a line of cars waiting down K St and even curved onto Chestnut. It usually moves pretty fast though, so don't get discouraged! Their rain policy is: if it rains the day your car is washed, you have 72 hours to bring it back for re-wash. read more

I purchased the super wash 9/10/24. Service was ok, wash could have done better, service time in the morning was less than 30 min. For my first time was an average service. Very noisy location, area was clean staff was average too. Price for the type of service and job should be cheaper than $37 ! Does need a little more attention. The place is friendlish. My last visit I arrived rather late, about 30-36 minutes before close. Greeted nicely. Once I got home I noticed my back hatch window was dirty; as if it wa forgotten. There is not any option to give less than one star if it would have been I would have done that. This was my fifth visit to this facility and only during First two visits the job was somewhat satisfactory. On the fourth visit I pointed out the shortcomings of the last visit to the person who was handling the incoming cars but again the job was not worth $10 dollars against $35.95 charged from me. Today on the fifth visit I was left shocked that attendants who were detailing my car refused to even listen to my points. This time car was not wiped from interior properly. Dirty even after vacuuming floor mats. spots of dirt on inside of doors. Some kind of liquid was spilled on floor which the attendant cleaned on asking. On reaching home I noticed that same type of liquid were on trunk mat also. I am of the view that in-spite of repeated visits and complaints the facility is not serious to address the problems, therefore I have decided to avoid this facility in future. read more

I don't know how much it cost to get your car clean but $45 for a premium wash that says you get the under carriage cleaned and exterior trim done makes me think my wheel wells would be clean and the tire shine not dripping down my rims when I leave also the exterior trim definitely was not cleaned with any type of care they missed some spots making it look like I have white marks on my black trim. They definitely do not clean the inside of your car seats, doors, etc. my cupholders are still dirty not even a simple wipe inside of them was done. I'm very unhappy with the service I was provided today and will not return. read more

This is not a COVID issue! Carwash locked my key fob in car twice so I don't leave the key anymore. Angel the manager has treated me less than civil after this. Here's the inconvenience: Having to wait an hour to clean the vehicle then have to wait another for a tow truck to arrive. Not once! TWICE, so no you don't get the FOB. Why on earth would I have to experience negative behavior that was introduced by the carwash employee's? The topper! Angel allowed the 5 cars in front of me to get their car washed at the end of the work day. He physically walked In front of my car w the cones and placed it in front of my bumper after WAITING 10 mins.! This guy has created a negative environment. read more

Horrible. I'm sad I have to write this as I've been an Autotopia customer for years. I took my brand new Audi for a wax. I purchased the car 2 days prior and it only had about 30 miles on it. I dropped it off and when I came back I damn near passed out. Scratches down the side and horrible cross pattern scratches all over the bumper. I notified the manager Angel who is completely useless. He denied the whole thing telling me those scratches were already there. I asked him to take photos and fill out an incident report and he started laughing at me. Angel must of had an angel protecting him because at this point I was ready to rip his arms and legs off and throw him in a pool. He finally filled out paperwork and took photos and said corporate would reach out within 5 days. I haven't heard anything. The total cost was just under $4,000.00 to fix. I came here to get a simple wash and they talked me into a $49.99 wax. Service is subpar at best. After summoning me to get my car since they were done. I walked up to my car to have the young lady wipe the rest of the wax off my car, after they tried to rush me along. I gave a tip because its customary. I'd like my tip back. There are still dead bugs on the back of my side view mirror and dead bees on the car. There's also sticky stuff on the center console that they totally ignored. When I asked the guy to get the bees, he made a gesture that he wasn't able to get them. (didn't speak English) That isn't my issue, however, regardless to him speaking English or not, I expect great service. So after paying $50 + tip, I'm not happy. I'm really irritated because I went out of my way to go to an atm to get cash for a tip and now I feel they didn't deserve it. I won't be going back. read more

My car is still dirty on the inside and I think they just oiled the front of my car. I don't think they even waxed it. I've added new photos.. this is why I still don't tip them. I usually go here to take my car to get a car wash from the outside and to get it clean from the inside but after these last couple of times I've been going. I've been noticing that they really haven't been cleaning my car at all from the inside. I did speak to someone and informed them if they could please tell the employees they could clean inside of the car that was very dirty And the employee said that he wouldn't inform his other employees since I asked him. I also wanna know what came with each package deal and I said is there a difference between the two he said no the main difference is one thing which is being clean, mainly from the outside and the other is from interior cleaning, which is the one I got so after that I went back again and it turns out they didn't even clean the inside where I wanted it to be clean. It's been like that for the last. Purples of times that I've gone back to get it clean but it's not working. I think the only thing that people should know is that if you really want your car clean, you should only take it to be cleaned outside inside. You should probably just do it yourself if you want it your way, but even the outside they didn't get that quite well. I took some photos but I don't think it will help. I just wanted to let everyone else know that if you really want your car cleaned from the inside don't pay extra. Just get it wash from the outside and that's it.
