    Dirty trunk...thanks, Autopia!

    Autopia has proven to be a great disappointment. I've been using the Livermore location for 8 years now, but lately the level of finish work has gotten worse. Just an hour ago, I went to get groceries after getting the car washed here. For the second time IN A ROW(!) I see that my trunk compartment was never vacuumed, also leaving dirt and debris in the trunk surround. I'll be looking for another wash shop - or just pay a neighborhood kid cash to get the car done right. BTW, at 37.00 plus my 5.00 tip, it's just not worth it.... Oh, I forgot: I called them 4 times - just to see If I could swing by and get the trunk vacuumed - yet no one picked-up the phone.

    Car scratches

    This is what they have done to my G wagon and I have filed an incident with them, called them, went to the physical location so I can see the cameras. They emailed me with a blurred photograph of my car entering the car wash and showing me that the scratches were already there but it was the dirt they tried to clean at the same spot and made scratches. I have told them to send me the video of the car being cleaned as they have cameras everywhere, but it's been 3 requests already via email and their website, but no one has reached out now making me go through legal route for this. Such small scratch is going to cost me 12k since the original paint is a metallic Matte. Shame on these folks and definitely they are hiding their fault as they don't want to share the video of the car cleaning. Save your car and money. PS: -5 star for not owning up the damage done

    The guy name angel said he can't clean my mats or wax the car because he send everyone home despite they were open . Pool customer service

    I have given this place chance after chance. They do a terrible job. I always have to point out obvious spots that need to be redone. I shouldn't have to! This is what a $36 carwash gets you. These pictures were taken right after I had my car done. It's infuriating.

    Socket cover that was broken off during my wash (and I was not informed about)

    I used to come here a lot but the quality of the wash has really gone downhill not to mention they broke the socket cover off of the charging port and cracked the plastic on top of my dash and didn't say anything to me when I got my car back (the cover for my charging port was tossed into a lower compartment of my car where I found it today) also now missing the plastic piece to one of my back windows Absolutely will not be returning

He was able to schedule me the same day in the afternoon. When I arrived to my appointment at the Livermore location, Jordan welcomed me with open arms and walked me through everything. He explained everything to me and was able to provide with my options for tinting. Once I agreed, they started the process right away. They first take a video of the entire car, then they start their work right away. After a few hours, my vehicle was complete! Their staff takes extra time after finishing to re-inspect the vehicle and to make sure everything is great. I was so impressed, that I decided to have my second vehicle tinted here too! And with even better experience than the first time. Jordan was able to schedule me immediately the following day, and my Lexus IS350's tint was done in no time. Also, I loved how they teach you on the dos and don'ts after the tinting process. Again, I highly recommend Tintix! I am very satisfied with their work on two of my cars. They provide lifetime warranty for my XPEL ceramic tint, and asked me to come back if there are any issues. I will be coming back for further service for my vehicles in the future.

    I had a mixed experience at this tint shop. When I first arrived for my appointment, the worker…read moredidn't seem very welcoming and immediately asked what I wanted without much acknowledgment. I was shown the tint options, but there wasn't really an explanation of the differences, and no one looked at my vehicle or walked me through what would work best. It felt rushed and like I was inconveniencing them. It felt like I had to do most of the work just to communicate basic information, and that concerns were somewhat dismissed, which felt uneasy when getting a service done. I was given a rough time for when my car would be ready when I asked, but there wasn't clear communication about how I'd be notified until I asked. The worker didn't even have my phone number on file until I brought it up, so if I hadn't asked, I'm not sure how they were expecting to contact me. I ended up calling to check on my car since I hadn't seen any activity, and that's when the owner, Lux who picked up mentioned there were delays since this morning with other vehicles. I completely understand that tinting can be a time-consuming, detail-oriented process and delays can happen, but it would have been appreciated to have clear and respectful communication from the beginning when I arrived especially for an expensive service. After my call, the owner, Lux was very attentive and made sure to follow up when my vehicle was ready, and the tint worker also reached out. Upon pickup, the worker also made a somewhat weird comment regarding timing, which added to the overall uncomfortable experience.Overall, maybe I just had a bad experience with the service worker, and I'm hoping the tint itself turns out fine, but nothing was really explained in terms of information included with my tint install, which felt pretty disappointing for the price and type of service. Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and left me feeling uneasy. A more apologetic and attentive professional approach would have made a big difference.     Can't really say I recommend it. I had some scratches on my front and rear seat and wasn't happy…read morewith the color match and I did not expect a spray paint job that I could have done myself. On the blue section, and there was some over-spray and it has a yellowish green tint. It took him a few quick minutes to mix some dye and he didn't really spot check for match. I asked if he could match it better but he said it could make it worse. There was also over-spray. Frankie just blocks off the untouched spot by holding a piece of cardboard. It wasn't precision and care. Also, deep scratches could be sanded, smoothed and polished to match, but he doesn't go to this level of service. He just applies putty over it and lets you know it will leave a lump. However, the match on black was very good, almost perfect. But it felt rough due to the over-spray. Overall, I had expected a more precise hand polishing process and care for matching, but it was just quick spray paint. Deep scratches really didn't get resolved. The car is now a collectors item. I was hoping for a level of quality that matches the prestige. EDIT In response to the owner; I do not use Yelp much and do not write many reviews. But they are bad experiences that are memorable enough to share and I provided evidence (invoices and pictures) to support it. The owner's lack of accountability in his response should be a concern. I've had someone asking about his work the past few weeks (2025: 9 years later) and it prompted me to help this person and update the review and even tone it down a tad for the owner's benefit. 1 and 2. The pictures uploaded appear the same quality as the original but resized. Don't believe otherwise as the owner leads you to believe. Many of you have uploaded pictures and know this is is a lie. I believe Yelp will also dispute the owner on the quality of their site. 3. As for repairing scratches, I had no issues and mearly shared the level of service ($350 - in 2016 dollars) for the community, but the owner has a problem with me sharing it. 4. The car was just as pristine in 2016 as today 2025, 1,500 miles later. I have the invoices on the work, dated before Frankie's job. In fact, I should probably write a review on it since the owner seems to have a problem with me not writing good reviews, especially if it is redundant to many other good reviews. 5. The owner is lying about the date of the job and timing of my review. The job was done on 2/6/2016. My review was dated 5/7/2016. I moved away from the area June 2016 and was very busy with preparing for the move and finishing up my life there. 6. The owner claimed he could make it right, but as he mentioned during the job, he did not want to fix the mismatch. I had no reason to contact him further. I moved to a different area a few months later and had more important concerns than the owner's job and was fine with just writing a review. The owner needs to own it.
