My personal experience with the son was great, bought three things no tax, I tell him I'm looking for a door but I'll come back he says it's $150 for the shell. I come back, som isn't there, owner try's to charge me $400 for the whole door. I walked outa there spending $274 on just the shell when originally I was told $150, owner finally went down to $250 but $24 dollars n tax?!, where's the the cents, how is tax a whole price? Didn't wanna argue just wanted my door. So if you go here be prepared to be haggled, just don't waste your time being upset, try to do what's fair and hell work with you a bit. Again I would n wouldn't recommend cause I get it, and he has good parts and honors his warranty.

If you value honesty and accuracy, I would avoid this place. They clearly don't check their inventory or don't care enough to give correct information.

This former bolsa auto parts has been around since forever. My father used to order parts here all the time before he retired his auto mechanic shop. Even today, I was able to come in and talk to the owner buying an expensive part for a great deal for my Acura TSX to fix my check engine light. You should definitely speak to the owner here as I saw her juggling 2 phones while speaking in many languages (English, Vietnamese, Spanish). However she can multi-task and still cater to me, helping me to order a part that fits my car perfectly. It is located in the plaza and there are ample of parking spaces. This store has been a lifesaver for my car and it seems that the owner has a lot of spaces and inventory to store a lot of parts. Most parts when ordered, will come within 2 days. I am glad I made the long drive from Huntington Beach just to this location solely due to the convenience and value. Yes, it is just that good.

I get quote a price on the phone and its available. 30 minutes later I show up, and it takes another old man literally 10 minutes to write down my VIN to check if they have the part. They have the part, but it's priced higher. He checks with the other guy who quoted me the price, but that guy doesn't remember telling me original quote. They give me a discount, but it's still higher than what was said on phone. So you guys determine for me, whether they're purposefully doing a bait and switch and wasted my time. Or they're senile and can't remember anything. Either way, they need to all retire and shut down the business because it's just terrible all around.

Here is what my experience with Rayes Alternator was like, and why I recommend them. I took my car to the local Auto Parts store to get my battery checked because it was not charging. The auto parts store told me my alternator was bad because it was only charging at 9 volts instead of the 13.5 volts or better needed to charge my battery and operate all the electrical components of my car. I took my alternator out to get it tested and repaired if needed by Rayes Alternators in Santa Ana because they have some good Google reviews. They tested my alternator and told me that it worked just fine. The person who tested it told me that the alternator did not have an internal voltage regulator but instead had an external voltage regulator. He explained to me that the reason my alternator was not charging my battery was more than likely due to a bad voltage regulator or a bad wire connection from the alternator to the voltage regulator. He took the time to explain to me how to check these items and what to look for when checking them. All this happened within 5-10 minutes from the time I walked into him business. I was only charged $20 for testing my Alternator and the instructions regarding how to check and fix the Voltage Regulator and the wire connections. It turned out to be a cheap and easy fix that only took about 15 minutes. I was able to save a lot of time and money buying only what I needed and installed the voltage regulator myself, instead of buying a new alternator that I did not need, and not having to take my car to a mechanics shop to get it fixed. I am very grateful for the free lesson from Rayes Alternators that saved me time and money.
