Probably the best AutoZone I've ever been to--and that's saying a lot because I've been to a lot, even outside of California. With that being said, I just want to take a moment to thank the person who helped me that day. It was a cold, rainy night, and my windshield wipers were broken. I was driving my grandmother's car and didn't realize the issue until I was already way further from home than I had realized. I pulled into the parking lot, went in, bought some wipers, and asked one of the employees if he could guide me through installing them. Instead of just explaining, he went ahead and installed them for me--no charge, no hesitation. He was the sweetest person ever, and I honestly can't express how appreciative I am. Because of this employees kindness, I was able to get home safely that night. Anyways, if you ever need anything, this is the location to go to. I found what I was looking for here so thats what matters to me. My fiancée got some tree sap on her car and I didn't have the chemical to remove it so I came to Autozone to pick one up since I live near the area. You should be able to find parking since it's in a big plaza, I usually avoid parking in front of the store because you might get stuck there due to the entrance/exit is right there as well. When I walked in, I saw the car wash supplies area and started looking for tree sap remover. They carried more brands now like Griots and Chemical Guys but I didn't find the tree sap remover until at the end of the aisle. It's not a brand name product but it did the job okay for a emergency type of situation. The customer service was great during checkout and remember to wear your mask inside. read more

This review is for 07/09/2011. Saturday was the only day I could do some basic work on my car. I did a basic check before I went to the store, the only thing I was low on was coolant. I decided to go to the Autozone in Arleta. The location of this Autozone is on the southeast side of Woodman Ave and before the Van Nuys Blvd. It was pretty quiet inside, but after I came in, there was a lot of people coming in to check out certain equipment. All I needed to get was some antifreeze. I got the Prestone Dex-Cool, Pre-Diluted ($14.99), so I don't have to worry about messing up my engine with 75/25 or 25/75 dilution. I waited in line for 2-3 minutes and the lady rung up my order and I got Prestone Coolant $2 discount for some reason. I am not sure why, but any penny or dollar, in this case, helps out. My total was $14.13. Nothing special going on here. It was just a basic visit to do DIY car jobs. My car is about 12 years old and I hope to keep my precious for a long while. He refuses to take back loaner tools from other stores (which is permitted) and if you are an employee from another store and have a return... don't bother going to this location. The manager is great! And he tries to provide the best customer service. But the employees are absolutely horrible, I feel like like they need more training in customer satisfaction. They attended other customers that weren't even in line and I was there standing waiting to pick up my order for at least 15 minutes that's unacceptable. I thought buying my order online and picking it up was going to be a fast process but it wasn't it was absolutely horrible. When they decided to finally help me out the guy working there was clueless and couldn't confirm my order and he had to call the manager to do it. The employees needs way more training! read more
