This is specifically written against the store that is located in College Park, on Old National Highway. I visited this location to purchase a sensor for one of my tires. The person that assisted me was a manager. He seemed nice. He goes and retrieves the sensor from the stock and rings it up for me. I take my sensor and leave. When I took it to the mechanic to have it installed the following morning, there was no sensor in the box but instead, there were 4 tire stems. The mechanic never left my presence. He goes and retrieved an empty box for me to take to Advance Auto, to ensure that I receive the correct product. I go back to the store and this is when things became very crazy. I was accused by the same manager that assisted me the day before, of being dishonest and crooked. I was accused of stuffing the box with the wrong product and bringing it back for a refund. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was stunned. Instead of arguing with someone that was clearing hostile towards me, I stated to him, ok. I will purchase the correct product and deal with the other issue later. Suddenly he does an exchange for me but does it in a very hostile manner. I left and reported the store to corporate. Now I changed this battery 2 yrs ago when the one before it died which I bought also from them and these are suppose to be 5yr battery's. For almost 200 dollars these battery's should last longer than 2yrs. My conclusion is that AutoZone carries faulty battery's and are overpriced. Even explained that I was interested in opening an account but I don't want it to be an issue every-time we try to make a purchase with your company we are bothering you, I'm trying to establish a real business relationship. Her response was "I make this store $7k-$8k a day, you can shop someplace else for all I care I won't miss your business".
