We were in desperate need of a new battery-mainly due to the incredibly cold temperatures-and did not have the time to wait for it to be ordered and delivered. Sam-the salesperson who helped me-honored the 20% off code I found online and worked on helping me coordinate installation of the battery at another location. However, one of the other salesmen happened to have brought TOOLS FROM HOME AND INSTALLED IT FOR FREE. This is key because the commercial hub location does not provide installation services AND our car is a hybrid and the battery is not conveniently located. I would totally drive back down to the south side to see these guys for vehicle service.

The Assistant Store Manager Dylan came across the street to check my battery, then helped me replace my dead battery so we could check the starter and alternator. When we discovered the alternator was failing he helped me find a replacement and gave me a recommendation for a place to help fix it. ...All this on 90+° day when I had my children with me. Meanwhile im still contacting the owner of Mr. Jorge and he is telling me that he is waiting for the battery to be tested, which I had already did because he asks me to that he would call me back. Several days go by I call back he has other employees answering the phone stating that he is not in or he is with a costumer. At this point, I know that Jorge is starting to avoid me. It's now going on 2 weeks since this all started and he is telling me that he has tested the battery and it has come back perfect.......So please tell me why in the hell would I go through all this with a battery that I NEED and now I have paid right at $600 because I had to go buy my own battery because I need my vehicle for work. Pleasant guy and helpful. When I made it further into the store I saw him on a ladder behind the counter talking on the phone, while two other employees were behind the counter. One had a parka on as he was doing some sort of repair outside and the older guy who was behind the counter as well and clearly in AutoZone attire. As I had my item for purchase in hand, I watched the older male come from behind the counter walking towards me and looked right at me and proceeded to an area around the corner from checkout milling around, doing a whole lot of not about much. I stood at the register for several minutes looking around wondering what does it take. After a few minutes the guy on the later looked at me and raised a finger as to suggest 'just a minute' as he was still on the phone. I was so done at this point my mind was like leave it on the counter and walk out, and also thinking if I walked out with the item I bet I'd get more attention than I wanted, and telling officials I thought the light bulbs were free since nobody wanted to cash me out. When the guy in the parka came back in, he walked behind the counter and I asked if he was an employee and he said he was. I asked if the older guy over beyond the checkout counter was an employee and he said he was. I asked if he was allowed to run the checkout and he said he was. I asked why didn't he check me out? I said he walked out from the counter and looked right at me and proceeded to where he is now. The guy said he didn't know why he did that but maybe he had to use the bathroom. I retorted with "unless he's using the bathroom right there on the floor, then what you're saying is BS! I was really ticked off today the least. The parka guy even went over to him and asked if he saw me and I heard him say in fact that he did see. I ordered two items online yesterday. Napa charged me three times for the same order. Called them…read moreat 8 am and then again at 12, noon. The call center said they would not be able to help me. I would have to pick up my purchase and then call my bank to work out the two extra charges. So I canceled the order. Call the store and talk to them, if they still wanted to sell the two items I would stop by later today and pick them up. The moral to this store, Dont purchase anything online with NAPA. The store has nothing to do with the ordering on line. Call day before you need the items and have them order it and have it waiting for you when it arrives. Oh, NAPA's online states they will call you when the item is in, NOT. The store says they don't do that unleased they have done business with you, or you have a large account like a business.
