When I tell you these people are not worth the salt that they put in their food. I purchased a battery from them that supposed to have been good for 5 to 6 years. This battery was $279 and only lasted for one month. When I contacted him, he had me to go get the battery tested which I did, and the battery was no good. I then contacted him back he asks me to ship it back to him which I did that he would refund me my money back or send a new battery. At this point a week had pasted by so I had to go rebuy another battery. Meanwhile im still contacting the owner of Mr. Jorge and he is telling me that he is waiting for the battery to be tested, which I had already did because he asks me to that he would call me back. Several days go by I call back he has other employees answering the phone stating that he is not in or he is with a costumer. At this point, I know that Jorge is starting to avoid me. It's now going on 2 weeks since this all started and he is telling me that he has tested the battery and it has come back perfect.......So please tell me why in the hell would I go through all this with a battery that I NEED and now I have paid right at $600 because I had to go buy my own battery because I need my vehicle for work. Now since I'm trying to call him back, he will not answer any of my phone calls, my boyfriends phone calls or any phone line that I call from that says North Carolina........THIS COMPANY IS A PIECE OF SHIT. read more

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! The seller sold me an item on OfferUp for a "new" taillight. The item I received was definitely USED because of the following: - Shipping box was taped multiple times and you can see that it was opened - There are 2 boxes inside the shipping box that was supposed to be taped but those boxes were opened too. - Inside the box, each taillight was supposed to be in a plastic and each plastic was torn to take the item from the box - One of the item has spliced wires showing that it was cut and tried to use. - Items are dirty and showing that someone tried to install it on their car or worst used and returned back to them. I've attached photos here to show. Also, seeing the reviews here on Yelp and with average of 2 stars, I'm not surprised with their false advertisement on my purchase and the way they are handling my claim. I shipped the item back to them on my expense for $32. They keep telling me that I will get a refund until today, they're telling me that they would only give me 50% of what I paid for. I paid $170 for the item + $32 to ship it back and they're only going to give me over $50 from what I've spent already. I don't think so! I tried to work this out with them and wasted days plus the shipping cost. It's sad that I have to go this route but I hope people would think twice or three times before dealing with this company. Definitely disputing this payment and with OfferUp. This is my first worst experience with OfferUp and I hope that they resolve this issue. read more

I had purchased a set of wheels and tires, online. When I went to pick them up one of the wheels was cracked and tire was flat. I brought this to the owners attention and without hesitation said well I'll buy u a new rim since this one is cracked keep in mind the deal was as is! Then one of the other tires had a cord showing so he is going to put the good tire off the bad wheel to fix that tire and Jorge the owner has ordered me a brand new wheel and tire and has only asked that I pay for the new tire, which in my mind is a hell of a deal. tru Motorsports has earned a new life customer and I plan to send them as much business as I can !! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! I was interested in a set of wheels and tires advertised by TRU Motorsports. I was told they were a 20x10 that were LIKE NEW! After driving 1.5 hours to get them, I find out they are only 20x9 and the tires are only 50%! Not only that, but three of the tires had either significant nails hanging out of them, and plugs! Purchased the motorcycle bubble via Amazon. This company delivers outside the state which is great. However they fail to tell you that they require a signature for delivery. We work full time and cannot be home. Normally I can contact fed ex or ups directly to waive my signature and accept full responsibility. Tru motor sports refused to make that change for me forcing me to drive to a fed ex facility to pick my item up. This was a huge inconvenience. When I called fed ex they told me signature requirements could be changed. They just needed the seller to contact them to change it. I contacted trumotorsports and asked them to accommodate us and make that change. Obviously they refused to do so because I received notification from fed ex that my package was at their store. I never received a call back from trumotorsports telling me that they wouldn't accommodate me. I wanted to return the product and buy from someone else that cares about inconveniencing their customers. My husband just wanted it over with and said he would go pick the item up. The bubble is great and the product was shipped with no damages. It's the poor customer service and lack of empathy from the seller I take issue with. I will never purchase from this place again and have family in Carmel, In and will steer them away from this store as well. read more

Me and my son had went to grab tacos from the taco place next door to Tru Motorsports when to my surprise, as we were leaving, my truck would not start due to a drained battery. I took the battery next door to Tru Motorsports to see if they had a charging station and while they didn't have a specific station to charge your battery they pointed me in the direction of an autozone. When they earned that I was going to be walking the battery down there one of the workers would not let that happen and went to find a jumper so they could get me back on the road. They charged me nothing and went out of their way to make sure I was back on the road safe. I appreciate them to the fullest. Thank you Tru Motorsports! read more

Placed an order for two Haltech Fusebox Relays on May 27, 2019. On June 3, 2019 I received two Ford fuel filters that were supposed to go to another customer. I notified TRUMotorsports and they sent me a shipping label to attach to the package so I could ship the filters to the customer who actually ordered them. My mail person comes mid day so I'm never home to hand her a package so I had to go out of my way to drop it off at the post office, no big deal. June 12, 2019 I received a second package that had 4 sets of Haltech 4 pin Tyco plugs. I immediately notified TRUMotorsports that they sent me the wrong package again and requested a refund so I could order direct from Haltech and stop wasting my time. June 14, 2019 I get a reply email with a return label and my question about a refund was ignored so I replied again asking for my refund. The only response I got was a question as to whether or not I received the shipping label and had sent the wrong products back to them yet. TRUMotorsports messed up the order, not me. I never received what I paid for. My money should not be held hostage while I go out of my way a second time to send back a product I did not order. Pay for your own mistakes, don't make your FORMER customer pay for them. read more

When ordering an exhaust for my eclipse. It showed up four days later than previously promised. Then me not thinking right. I ordered injectors three showed up on time . the fourth one got lose in delivery. So had to wait for them to reorder the injector. Very inconvenient. So if you want parts on time. I've known the owner Jorge longer than I'd like to at this point. I can't stress enough how big of cheap scumbag he is to everyone. He is knowledgeable on being a sticky two-sided salesman, not so much on cars and he will nickel and dime you as much as he possibly can. To keep my story short I've spent roughly 1800 dollars with the company in the past (before I knew how Jorge was) on a motor in particular that was slightly built. The head on it was built and by all means worth every penny for IT, the block on the other hand was shot and I ended up dropping another 200 dollars or so on a different block (obviously bought else where this time.) Now about a year or so later I decided to do business with him again. Again keeping this straight to the point I probably lost out on an extra 1000 dollars on this deal we came to after a coin toss in which he would have shorted me another 200 dollars had he won (bad karma on his end in my opinion.) Had I not been in a tight money situation I would have laughed in his face and shared some spiteful thoughts of how I felt about him, but I sucked up my pride and took the deal. Keeping in mind the fact that I've spent lots of money with him in the past he continued to look to nickel and dime me. Hope this review saves others the time and anger of dealing with this petty petty man. read more
