The drive wasn't very enjoyable but the people who were working there were very helpful and respectful. Being the first time I had ever been to a place like this. I didn't know what to expect. If I had known that you could rent a golf cart to go in the yard instead of pushing a wheelbarrow around a 6 football field sized yard filled with 100's of cars I would have done so. Noted. But all the vehicle's were elevated so getting under them was easy. There were engine lifts out there i didn't have to use one so I don't know what or how someone would go about borrowing one. But they have them. The parts are very reasonable and if you are in the tires or batteries, pretty much anything else that you could want or need for a vehicle they have it. read more

Overall, a pretty good experience. The staff were friendly, and the prices were cheap. It looks like they have a pretty broad selection, although they didn't have any Honda Elements (which I think are more rare). Now I know it's in the name, but just know that you will have to take the part off the scrap vehicle out in the yard. So some basic wrenching knowledge is needed. I took my own tools, but it looked like they had some tools for use out there. Also, if you are looking to get a big part, or a bunch of parts, they have wheelbarrows you can use, or golf carts you can rent for $5/hr ($20 deposit). The $2 yard entry fee was interesting...not sure why they'd charge me to look, but it's only $2. This just might be the cleanest and tidiest junkyard I've ever been in. Wide aisles, clear of debris, and clean gravel all around. Not only are the sections (GM, Ford, Chrysler, imports) very large they are also very spacious since as mentioned the aisles were wide so the room around the cars was more than ample, both front and back. Wide enough that it was immediately noticeable. Although I didn't find anything I needed to buy, I did appreciate having the yard's inventory available on a computer just inside the entrance (its also available online) and the employees were very helpful. The driver they hired lied about the pick up situation and they refused to stick to there plan to pick up my car, and they wouldn't help despite their driver lying. I might've been the only woman within a mile of this place. Let's just say Pull-A-Part is a dudes-with-large-toolboxes kinda joint. And while I am not in fact a dude with large toolbox, I do know one! I should dial back for a minute just to preface this review with a few necessary details. So two weeks ago some douchebag hit my car--aka Betty--while she was parked, tearing off the left front turn light. Needless to say, said douchebag did not leave their name, number or insurance information. So Betty now needs a new turn light and assembly. Pull-A-Part's handy-dandy online database indicated there were two cars of Betty's make and year in the yard. Upon arrival, P-A-P's easy-to-read map allowed us to quickly ID the sector where those two cars were. Sadly, the cars were pretty much stripped to the struts, probably due to the popularity and longevity of cars like Betty. If you've got an old car and are handy, however, there's no reason not to try P-A-P. It costs only $1 to get on the lot and it's so tidy and organized, you can barely call it a JUNKyard. read more

Although they did not ave what I needed, they were very helpful. They seem to keep a data base of cars they have on the lot and most parts. We got help at the door on the computer. Friendly service and we learned our car part was used between 2006 and 2010 years of cars. This will make it much easier to find. Would totally recommend over Pic-A-Part off 16th st. Pic-A-Part is more then happy to charge you 2$ to go on their lot of very picked over inventory. read more

Terrible scheduling service! I called and made a reservation to have my car sold and towed away in the morning. The date of the sale rolls around, and they are no where to be found. They could care less about honoring an arrangement, and only about their profit. The dispatchers are worthless. read more

This was my first junk yard experience and I was pleasantly surprised. Upon entering the building all the associates were extremely friendly and eager to help. Building was clean and organized. Paid our entry fee and headed out to the lot. Cars were organized. The part we needed was on the the first car we came to. Super easy! We walked around and checked out a few others. Of the four employees I interacted with, three of them were excellent, but the first employee was just atrocious. As I walked into the reception building, I made a beeline for the computer that displayed the Hollander Interchange. As I settled in to use it, the employee covered the keyboard with his hands and bellowed "NO!" at me. He didn't explain his actions, he didn't offer to help, he wasn't friendly in the least, he didn't provide any options, he basically made me feel powerless. The other employees explained that the Hollander Interchange is not to be used by the customer; it's to be used by employees, only. Went to look for a wheel for my Impala found one and got it off after getting stung by wasp that had a nest in the wheel the tire on the wheel was dry rotted but I didnt want the tire any ways so I thought I could of had the tire removed like pick a part does on 16th st. But they said they do not do that but they said they would work with you if the tire was bad anyways. Got up to the counter and the girl says the tire is half bad and half good but going to charge me as if the tire was good. I showed her where the tire was dry rotted and she said no its good. How much sense does that make to pay for a tire as though its good when its dry rotted. So I told her i didnt want the tire and then she told me to take it back outside and put it in a pile. As she stood and did absoultey nothing. I asked if there was anyone else that could give their opinion on tires and she said no she was the only one. She must be the only tire expert around there which is sorry for their business then because they will be losing out. read more
