I had a new engine put in somewhere else, but started using Eagle. I noticed an oil leak and was…read moretold there were valve leaks from when Tom Wood put in the engine. Tom Wood said my vehicle was out of warranty (12k miles or one year and I work from home, so I didn't drive it often). I had Eagle do the valve work, with was over $800. A few months later, I noticed there was still oil leaking. I took it back and they said it wasn't the valves, but is now the top oil pan. I asked didn't they have to touch or remove the oil pan to do the valve work? They said no and said it would be another $800+ to repair. I talked to another mechanic and was told they absolutely had to remove the oil pan to do the valve work. So, my truck is leaking oil and loosing engine pressure because Eagle reduced to honor their warranty and wanted to milk me for money. Update after owners response: I took my vehicle back a few months later and that was the answer given. I did not drive for the majority of 2025 because of a hand injury. I'm writing this response now because of what I was told by a mechanic recently. If they look in their system, they will see they repaired my car and a few months later, I brought it back for a diagnostic because it was still leaking oil. I work from home and put very few miles on my car between 2020 and January 2026.

They said they wouldn't even be able to look at it until Monday, so I remembered Eagle Auto which was half a mile away. I got there 10 minutes before they opened and was the first one in. Jessica helped me at the counter. She was absolutely phenomenal and LOVELY. She got my keys and said they'd have someone run diagnostics on it. I made my self comfortable and waited for about 45 mins until she came back with the results. Thankfully nothing popped up on their tests and she gave me my keys and said no charge. Wow. Just wow. Great service and they were so prompt. I told her that I would be giving them an awesome review- especially her help. I will most definitely be coming back (hopefully not too soon) when I'm in need of service. They also gave a ride to a gentleman that came a little after me. Very nice. Well stocked coffee bar and snacks. Jessica asked if I needed to do any work bc they have an office for people that work while they wait. How great is that? Ultimately, the process of buying a car is just not fun. It takes a long time, there's a lot of waiting, and heavy decisions to be made. But they make it as smooth and painless as possible. I've seen Hebert and Cody, both a handful of times--and they're awesome! While they could easily take advantage of a girl who doesn't know what she wants, I feel like they look out for me and genuinely try to get the best deal. Last time, one of the salespeople gave me advice that saved me probably $100/month on my car payment. When I'm ready to buy a new car, this will undoubtedly be the only stop I make. The service department treats my car like a baby. They always keep me informed, prices are reasonable, and they are knowledgeable and efficient. I've had particularly great service from Brandon. Like I said--getting your car serviced is not fun, but they keep the waiting area clean and well stocked with complimentary coffee, water, and snacks. Having now acquired a new car, it's time for me to document my experiences in the search from the perspective of being a driver with a disability. I was doing an active online search and found a vehicle I'd been intrigued by at Carmel Auto Gallery. I'm a wheelchair user, though I've never actually driven a van (the stereotype). Instead, I drive a 2-door automatic with enough room that I can slip the folded wheelchair into my backseat. When I was younger, finding such a coupe was easy. These days, it takes a lot more work. I had arranged with a friend that they would drive me around to check out some vehicles at area auto places. I added Carmel Auto Gallery to my list. This Carmel Drive auto dealer specializes in used cars with clean titles. They also appear to finance, though I did not get to that point. They have a front parking lot. The actual cars are off to the side, though you're supposed to go in. There's someone who works the front counter, and there appears to be 3-4 associates to the side. We originally missed the front entrance thinking we'd access the lot in the back. Nope, that's their service center and there's no thru-way. As there was no accessibility via the outside (there is via the inside), we went inside and asked for a specific vehicle. You could tell it befuddled them a bit - I get that. I'm amazed at how many people don't realize a wheelchair user can drive. I was hooked up with Mustafa. He brought around the specific car I was interested in and left it running. To his credit, he wasn't high pressure and gave us time to look at it and for me to test the wheelchair. I'm not fond of the whole side lot arrangement. I think freedom to look is fairly basic. But, this isn't the only place that does that (CarMax is way more obnoxious about it). I ultimately decided this wasn't the car for me, though I was pleased to learn it would actually work with the chair. I explained what I was looking for - I was a bit disappointed that no other 2-door automatic was mentioned (I'd checked in advance - they had them). I was also a little disappointed with the "we'll keep our eyes open" comment, though they didn't bother to get my contact info. My "gut" feeling is they didn't actually realize I was a serious buyer with the cash in my pocket at the time. I was VERY serious. Blown sale. Would I return here? Maybe. It wasn't good. It wasn't bad. No one was rude, and I certainly didn't have a bad experience. I just felt like there was a lack of effort and some disability stereotyping. This was definitely out of my way, and I can't say the experience made me want to go out of my way again in the future.

2/5 stars here's why and what you should know…read more I ran my own dealership for 16 years back in the dya, so I know a little more about buying cars and negotiating than your average Joe from the Mitten. The experience started off frustrating. I initially dealt with Daniel in sales, and the communication was poor. Questions weren't answered clearly, responses were slow and the whole deal felt shady. Then there was the pricing mess, made it even more confusing and misleading. The dealership's website showed one price, while I found at least three different prices for the exact same car across Carfax, truecar, cars.com. None of them matched, with roughly a $1,000-$1500 difference between some of the listings. If it wasn't for my background and years of experience,it's how much you as a customer would overpay for no reason. That's something the dealership really needs to clean up because inconsistent pricing is very skulduggery and raises red flags for buyers. Things did improve once I started dealing with F&I manager Nick. He was straightforward, polite and most importantly he was transparent. I asked him to honor the Truecar price and remove the unnecessary addons/fees. I appreciated that he did it without turning it into a whole negotiation battle. He also discounted the selling price further to make up for the poor experience we'd had up to that point. While we were driving down from Michigan, they got us approved at a competitive % and sent me the exact payment options ahead of time. No pressure, no last-minute surprises. We declined Gap (personally, I'd never buy it from a dealership when you can get it much cheaper through your regular insurance). We did end up purchasing a warranty though F&I manager actually SOLD my wife on it by taking the time to explain the coverage in detail rather than just pushing a product or scamming like a lot of dealerships do nowadays.I thought the terms were fair, since it's cancelable and prorated, so we took it. The dealer also gave us a full tank of gas, manager was positive and even escorted us out of town so we could avoid those ridiculous Carmel roundabouts, much appreciated. Overall, I'm happy with our new summer ride. If you're coming from out of state and want to get straight to the bottom line, my advice would be to skip the sales team and deal with someone who actually makes the decisions. Make sure to negotiate the fees, all those add ons are never mandatory. Also there seem to be too many unnecessary and illogical steps and the dealership could definitely improve its communication and pricing transparency. I'll update in about 3-6 months, once I've put enough miles on the car to see how it actually holds up and whether the dealership's claim that they thoroughly inspect their vehicles proves to be true.

Toyota does a multipoint inspection with the oil change. Service was quick, and the results of the inspection were carefully explained.
