Luckily, there is a shop next door better equipped for more difficult installations and they started removing my old battery while I paid for the new one. If they don't have the item in stock, they'll check the inventory of the stores around and have me go pick it up from the other store. I would rather have them do a store transfer and for me to pick it up at a later time from their store. The store is quite busy all the time since its near quite a lot of auto shops.

Battery was determined to be defective by NAPA in Kansas City December 2018. NAPA in KC wants a new battery price for a replacement battery offering no credit for the defective battery at 13 months. I was told by assistant store manager I needed the purchase receipt to get any credit against defective battery. No matter if this is correct that I need the damn receipt or not I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER BATTERY FROM NAPA IN MY LIFE! You shouldn't either! I have had other brand defective batteries and have never needed the receipt to get any credit when the defective battery is prorated against a new battery. It has not mattered whether I returned the battery to the same store I originally bought defective battery or not. Bad policy NAPA!

The first O'reilly location I went to didn't have my wipe blade sizes so I thought this location; however, it seemed like all locations were out of stock and they're all on back order. It wasn't a big deal because I'm pretty sure they'll have that deal again in the future. Anyways, this location was pretty much the same as the other one (the one in Liberty, MO) I went to. The aisles and layout was 100% identical which I think made it easier to find what I was looking for. This location had only three employees working when I came so be prepared to wait if there are a lot of people. They also had more in-stock items (at least the things I was looking for) versus the other location which would always be good to know just in case I needed something and one location doesn't have it in-stock.

This O' Reilly was a little smaller than the other locations I've been to. I found my wiper blades and paid for them. Every row I walked through was organized and clean. The staff here was friendly and offered to help me put on the wiper blades. I declined because I knew how to change them. Good place to buy some auto parts!

I had just had a distressing morning and was a bit rattled. When I entered the store JC Goff immediately helped me and was so attentive to what I needed. Not only did he locate the type of oil I needed in my car manual, he stopped and put the oil in my vehicle. He was so kind and caring and took such care with ensuring that I received the best care. I was so moved by his kindness that my tears, that I had been choking back, started to flow. I gave him and his manager a hug saying how appreciative I was for their kindness and help. Whomever is in charge for these individuals salary increase or bonus should absolutely reward them. I will continue to tell this story to other ladies to prove that there are gentlemen out there that will do their best to provide a quality experience. I just can't say enough good things about these gentlemen and my experience. Especially at a time where I felt weak and vulnerable.
