So I went to the store to pick up the battery and get it installed. "Oh no," the young man working there said. "We don't install batteries bought on our website. You have to buy the battery here at the store to get it installed." There is nothing on the website to indicate that only batteries bought in the store will be installed. So there I am, an elderly widow with no idea how to install a battery and no one to help me. I believed their false advertising that they would install it. I ended up going to an auto repair shop and paying them to install the battery. I would not advise anyone to deal with Advance Auto Parts. False advertising is a very bad sign for a business.

My experience with Empire Freightliner in Pensacola fl was not a good one!…read moreI made an appointment to bring my motorhome there on a Tuesday, to have the Oil changed , Flush out the radiator and to check a engine light that was on. I knew the engine light had something to do with the emissions. When i arrived there the service tech took all the information and said that it may take 2 to 3 days due to the engine light. I asked him if they could keep my bus plugged in because i had stuff in the refrigerator, which he said no problem. ( That didn't happen) Days went by without One single call to let me know how things were going. i called them Friday to see check the progress, he said that the only thing that was done was the oil change, and they did a manual regen on the engine and the light went off. He said that they would try to get back on it and would call back that evening (that didn't happen). I called the following Monday they still haven't gotten to it. It snowed that Tuesday and my bus was left outside and never once plugged in like they had promised. On the following Friday still nothing and not even a call. so i called them Noon Friday and said that i was just coming to pick it up and for them to have the paperwork ready for when i got there. 5 hours later paperwork still wasn't ready. They ended up charging me $2,500 to change oil in the engine and generator, and to hook up the computer for the engine light. ( no parts were changed for that) yes i know i got ripped off ! All my house batteries were basically dead, everything in my refrigerator had to be thrown out So my experience was not a good one, NEVER going back there and i would NEVER send anyone there.

They put the invoice through to our insurance and we waited to hear. Meanwhile my husband was hospitalized. I cannot drive the motorhome. They came and picked up my motorhome for me and did all the work then brought it back to my campground so I wouldn't have to spend the night alone behind their shop. This cost them as they pulled people from other projects. Because of them my husband who has now been in hospital four days and counting will be able to recover in peace when he finally gets out.
