Our car battery died and the 3 year warranty to replace is great. Not to mention the amazing staff (didn't get their names but a man and woman attending the counters and helping customers with their cars) checked our battery charge and replaced the battery for us. They overcharged me for my headlight bulb and claimed to not be able to put it in for me even though every other Autozone hasn't had a problem doing it. They sold me the wrong bulb too. Then they made me wait in a long line again in order to return it. read more

Major issues with my battery and I was a bit paranoid when I walked into the store because I didn't want to turn my car off the manager Ruben Lopez was doing something I waited a sec and then said excuse me can you help me when you have a chance I have my car on I'm outside with no hesitation he said OK. He came out he answered all my questions he checked my battery he even told me how do use this little trickle thing that I bought and brought with me because my battery has been giving me so much trouble and I found out it was something else to be in topsail walk unit. Phoenix summers, while I love them and the heat they bring, are a real drain to car batteries. This wasn't news to me, but it's still aggravating when you can't even get a battery to survive 10 years here, much less the five that I've had my car. But, paradise comes at a price. My Saturday morning plans were altered slightly by my visit to Autozone, as I'd planned on just starting the day doing laundry. So there I was, in my butch attitude replacing the battery myself. After I left, I remembered having purchased prior batteries here for my vehicles--it turns out I was still under warranty and was able to return and get the difference credited back. So, while part of me thinks this could have been avoided altogether, I now have some money in my pocket and a coupon to Sonic that's going to good use. Huzzah yea! read more

The store manager "Regal" was very rude and didn't want to help me check my car or install the battery I know it's not their job to do it, but I also know I have never had a problem or someone be so rude or not help me at autozone. Then I'm sitting in the parking lot and he sends a young girl out by herself to check someone else's car. After she was done she walked up and apologized to me and said she didn't know why he wouldn't help me, but then send her out to help somebody else. I know people have bad days but if you don't want a job... then don't work. Worst customer service yet. read more

I'd like to thank the staff and especially the manager on duty at this location for being extremely helpful and for going above and beyond the call of duty. I arrived at this location with a battery issue. One of the staff tested the battery and found it to be dead. She reviewed the most economical choices first with me, which I appreciate. After deciding on a new battery, which was in stock, I asked if they do installs. Just as we were doing the transaction, the monsoon hit and poured rain. The manager on duty got his rain gear on and spent 15-20 minutes outside in the pouring rain installing our new battery. He did so with a smile on his face. It is this type of customer service that deserves the highest amount of respect. read more

Good prices and good service. I had a check engine light on in my vehicle so I took it to this Auto Zone. They came outside and checked the diagnosis code using their tools. Then we went back in and the employee looked up my code and lead me in the direction of possible causes. After returning home and doing some research, I narrowed down the problem and returned to Auto Zone. The part that I needed was very particular and usually not manufactured by itself. The employee searched long and hard through his database, and we ultimately determined that the part was not inventoried by the Auto Zone chain. Ultimately I fixed the problem, and the part was indeed difficult to come by. I appreciate the service that I was given at this particular Auto Zone. read more

I came into store to buy oil . The store associate Genaro helped look up the weight for me. I then asked if they sold funnels he said I could use the store's funnel and asked if I needed help putting it in I said yes and he put in the oil for me. That was really great customer and demonstrates a store employee who goes above and beyond his duties to assist customers. My family was really impressed with his assistance. More stores should have employees like Generaro. read more

At 11:40 a.m. on 10/13/17 I walked into this store and joined the line behind a black couple. The employee at the counter was waiting on a spanish man. Two other spanish men walked up to the register you pay at and called to the employee. The employee said he would be with them in a moment. When the employee finished waiting on the spanish man he was waiting on, he called another employee forward to wait on the black couple why he rang up the first spanish man and then continued on to ring up the other two spanish men. he would not wait to on either the black couple or myself. The Auto Zone on Mc Dowell by 43rd Ave. is even worse than this one about waiting on non-hispanic people. I wound up at O'Reillys on 19th Ave where a very nice young black man helped me. read more
