I brought my 2020 Mazda 6 Sport to Chapman Mazda for an intermittent transmission issue, because I…read morelost trust in my previous dealer. Service Writer Wayne was very friendly, asked a lot of questions, and assured me they would diagnose the problem. After Technician Randy checked out the transmission (no codes, shifted normal, etc.), I was asked to accompany Randy on a test drive. I was unable to duplicate the intermittent issue either. After explaining what he checked and answering many questions, I was convinced there was no more that the dealer could do at this time. Wayne told me there would be no charge for the diagnosis since they did not find a problem; that's integrity. While in the shop they also did a free inspection and sent me a video used to document the inspection. My bake pads had only 2-3 mm of pad left (in the Red), so I had them replace all 4 pads and resurface the rotors. In my opinion, the cost was very competitive with brake specialty shops in Phoenix. Wayne and Randy both get 5's in my book!

The second time I brought my car in they wanted to charge me $500+ for a new battery -- I promptly said no and got a battery from O'Reilly's. Then after leaving Chapman's from the service -- my parking break light keeps coming on. I brought it back to them and they said they fixed it but a day later the lights are coming back on. I brought my car there again and they said they fixed it but no -- lights are still on. Annoying and $700 later. The service guy is very friendly but somehow I feel like I am being ripped off. I will probably still take it there because it is very convenient (I took the car to a place in Scottsdale but it took forever and is not close).

I have happily owned and consistently driven nothing but MINI(s) for over 2 decades; NEVER had any issues with the convertible tops ever "breaking." (Thank God!) Anyway, the manager ("Josh" and "Ryan" MINI advisor) LISTENED to my grievance, and very ethically made an astute business decision to fix the convertible top as a "Loyal Customer courtesy." I sincerely appreciate the fact that this dealership not only stands behind their service, but more importantly, they honestly VALUE their customers. THAT SAYS A LOT! Despite multiple requests and a specific deadline, no signed writing, email, text message, or other document has been produced showing that I declined a rescission or refund. The dealership has produced communications showing that an offer was discussed. I do not dispute that discussions occurred. However, discussions are not the same as a written rejection. Their own exhibits consist of an email offering repair or a refund and a text asking me to call regarding the repair status. Neither document contains any written acceptance or rejection by me, nor do they constitute a waiver or release of my rights. The dealership also states that I waited approximately eleven months to complain. That is inaccurate. I raised concerns shortly after purchasing the vehicle, continued communicating with the dealership regarding repairs, and made repeated attempts to resolve the matter before filing formal complaints. My communications, service records, and subsequent Mercedes-Benz case demonstrate that this has been an ongoing dispute

Not a great first-time experience…read more This location is in a high-traffic area with a tricky setup -- getting in and out is inconvenient due to poor zoning and layout. I stopped by for a quick air check, but the line was surprisingly long with only one station available, so plan on waiting. It took me 30 minutes just to get my tire checked. A gentleman (whose name started with "L") found a nail in my tire and said it could be fixed, but it would take an hour. I decided to stay. Inside, I waited another 15 minutes just to get checked in. Miguel re-checked my car, added me in as a walk-in, and also recommended replacing my windshield wipers. I agreed. An hour passed, and my car still hadn't been touched. I stood in line again to ask for an update -- things were chaotic. The system showed my car hadn't even entered the queue, and to make matters worse, they couldn't locate my keys. Apparently, several people were quoted incorrect wait times. The lack of communication between the front desk and service team was obvious and frustrating. Even though dissatisfied my car ended up getting serviced and everything was properly fixed. I won't go back to this location because it seems everything is unorganized. I called corporate to share my experience because this location needs some help in coordination and service.
