On my visit, the place was really clean and the guy had no trouble locating the needed parts. No hassle exchanging my old starter (I had pulled it out ahead of time.) I also grabbed a grounding cable to replace the corroded mess that has been hanging off my negative battery terminal the past few years. It's been about three weeks since I put my shiny new starter in, along with a fresh grounding cable, and every time I turn my key in the ignition I smile.

My bestie is much more social than I am, and just overall a pleasant person. He's worked in sales and retail before, so he's super respectful of others who have these things of jobs and goes out of his way to be nice and make it a pleasant experience. That was pretty much impossible in here, even for him. He greeted the employee, while the employee basically just stared at him. My bestie said this would be an easy/quick last sale of the night. Now I don't know about anyone else, but if I were the employee, I'd be thrilled if someone told me that. I could absolutely understand this guy being a little worried this would turn into a long, drawn out sale or problem given how late it was and close to closing time. So I would be relieved if someone said this will be quick and easy, and do my best to help them, get them going and out, turn the open sign off and make a run for the hills. Apparently this was not how this guy planned to treat this sale. He looked like a combination of Jeff Dunham's Walter puppet (and acted about the same) and grumpy cat, while looking constipated. I had no idea anyone could look that grumpy at any given time. It was almost an art form. Lol. I had to laugh at it. My thoughts were this guy belonged in a call center somewhere, where people couldn't see the cranky face. My bestie needs some kind of part for his car, I can't remember exactly what, but it was a pretty simple thing that he could fix himself. Instead of this guy looking up the part number and making sure it was the correct specs for the car, he points in a general direction in the store and says it's "over there" which I absolutely hate. I don't know about anyone else, but to me that is the single most lazy way to quote help someone. Wal-Mart employees are more intelligent than this. My bestie found what he was looking for, with a little help from me instead of the employee. But we found what he needed. Would I return? No, there are plenty of other auto parts stores in this town. Hell, there's even Wal-Mart with an auto section, that is better than this. It's just terrible. I would recommend looking around for other auto parts stores. Review 52 of 2017.

So, I had to take it back and they said the refund would take days and that the new part was more than twice the original price. I am on a low budget and can not afford this. He explained that if we could give them just a few, they could get a tech in and get us taken care of. When Wade got a hold of our bus he had everything checked out including our original issue, an oil change, and a leak fix in just a couple hours. I recently had the opportunity to interact with the team at McCandless Truck Center in Pueblo,…read moreColorado. My RV had a chronic overheating problem. It was serviced at two other truck centers in So. Colorado without success. The service manager Shane Trout took a personal interest in finding the problem. His mechanic Jim also took it very seriously and I know they both spent a lot of time (even in their off work hours) thinking through the problem. Shane welcomed me to stay in my Rv in their repair lot for well over a week. They found that the surge tank flange was damaged keeping the system from maintaining a seal. They did the repair and I was on my way. A big thank you to Shane and his entire staff.
