He stepped out in the 100 degree heat , opened the hood of my car and showed me where to put it. It did not work right away, after a few minutes, Kaiden checked my car and found out that my fan was turned on , but not the AC!!! How embarrassing! Kaiden was very nice about it and did not make me feel dumb. They have to be careful about helping people , but people can turn on you. Had a super experience here recently before a roadtrip. Wanted to get new wiper blades and light bulbs since I tend to do a lot of night time driving. Staff were busy, probably about a half dozen customers in the store. I normally look for the items myself via vehicle parts search on their website; found them, brought the items up to the register. A really kind and knowlegable gal (and here, I'm apologetic that I don't remember her name) helped me by verifying that I was getting the correct blades/bulbs for my vehicle (they weren't lol). She helped me get the correct stuff and even offered to help replace them for me--I was very grateful. I've switched out blades/bulbs on my own, but she was so kind and patient while she did that for me. She really gave me a moment to just be still and collect myself from the hectic day I was having. She also did not make me feel less than, or dumb, or anything like that at anytime, she was perfectly calm and confident about it all. Thank you, gal from AutoZone. I bring it up there and soon as I walk in tge store both employees look at me as ask what do I need with a adittude. The guy look at my new rotor and said nope we can't turn this. I bring my rotor to brake and equipment in Minneapolis and took it and turned in 10 minutes. Never will I go back to this to buy nothing. The employee have adittude towards people of color. I felt it and I witness a customer that was black and was treated like shit.
