We have been having trouble with our pickup starting, this week, so we went to Auto Zone after getting it jump started to test the battery (hoping it was that and not the alternator). It was, in fact, a bad battery. Auto Zone said they could sell us a replacement battery, and normally they would install it for us, but it was raining (a drizzle, not a downpour or windy) and neither the employee nor the manager wanted to get wet. My significant other was using a cane and legally parked in the handicapped space, but they didn't seem to take that into consideration, so we decided to call around and go spend our money at a business who has employees that aren't afraid of getting wet. read more

The AutoZone I wanted to leave the review for isn't available on Yelp but DO NOT GO TO THE 3512 MANTHEY ROAD AUTO ZONE!! We were traveling the other day from northern California to southern California. We pulled over to help a woman with a popped tire and then our car wouldn't start! So we jumped it and trucked it along to the nearest Autozone. The associate was probably freshly 18, very young kid. He said he could check out battery and alternator to see if it is broken. He asked us where we were from and we said we were from about 3 hours up north. He then told us our alternator was broken and instead of giving us an actual shop that could fix it he called his best friend who has some tools. We ending up leaving and spending the next hour too scared to drive far because an alternator can cause your call to stop whilst driving and we did not want to be stranded. It took us an hour to find any shop open to help us. All for them to check and tell us everything was fine! Battery was good and so was our alternator!! It was just a jammed wheel! It felt like the kid was trying to scam us and wasted a good amount of our day trying to find somewhere to go before everything closed because we are traveling and 3 hours away from family either way. Definitely will NEVER be going to an Autozone again!!! Save your time and go to an actual shop! Shout out to Prince Tires and Auto Repair Shop who took us in right at close and got us on our way! read more

I went to AutoZone yesterday for Windshield Wipers. I had no idea how I was going to put them on the car so I asked the clerk if they were difficult to install, he said no and declared that he'd put them in for me. I took him less than two minutes. Came here today with my little brother. He bought a new jeep and I was showing him what to keep in his trunk. Extra oil ,Coolant etc.. The front counter guy was very helpful. Suggesting my brother should use a high mileage oil and didn't try to oversell anything to us at all. The store was very clean inside, I was just amazed to see that. I spent around 10 minutes or so checking things out on the floor. Pretty much everything is in stock to what you need. When I do need parts , I usually come to AutoZone and get them. I work on my own car and enjoy working on cars. So this place is like a toy store for me. :) Since I've been coming here , I never had any problems whatsoever and the staff is pretty knowledgeable. So I can tell they had some time in the Automotive field, like me. Also sign up for the AutoZone rewards. For every $20 you spend you get a point. Five points you earn $20 off you're next purchase. I was trying to return some seat covers that I purchased in another auto zone store. I had my receipt to make the return. When I got there no one was in line. They had 3 employees just talking to one another. The lady employee asked me to see receipt and told me I had to go to the store where I purchased them..... I have never had an issue doing a return at a different location. So on my way home I stopped at Autozone in Lodi,"which was NOT the store I originally bought them from" and with no problem they received the seat covers... no questions asked! I will never go to this one again! read more

Look, is it sometimes a long wait? Yes. These places are always busy. If you have no patience to wait in line, then go order on Amazon or something. I went in the other day, had to wait a little bit, no big deal. I had trouble starting my car that morning. I asked them if they had a tester. Employee Luis M. said he could test it. Went outside, tested my battery for me. It came out bad. He gave me three options for replacement, and then even came out an installed it for me. I'm sorry, but if you give AutoZone in general 5 stars, you are on crack, but especially this one!! This is the WORSE AutoZone I have ever been to. The employees look and act like they are thugs ready to "jump" you. I went in yesterday to purchase some windshield wipers for my car and when I walked I noticed there was only 1 person in the store, and he was in the line to check out. I stood behind him for help to get the correct size for my car. I waited in line for 10 minuets with no acknowledgment by the cashier. Just then a couple walked in and went to the parts counter. 5 more minutes go by and finally he gets to me (after 15 minuets mind you) and he says "what do you need" I told him I need wipers and I was not sure what size I needed. I said "You have to go wait at the other counter" I was LIVID!!! So I go stand at the other counter (behind the couple who walked in 10 minuets after me) and what does the clerk do. Walks over to the other counter and help the other couple first. All he could have done was said, Hey lets walk to the other counter to find out, but no made me wait another 5 minutes. So finally I get the size I need. And walked over to the check pout stand. The lady who rung me up says, "are you done" I said yup. No more talking to me until she hand me the receipt and she says, "Here". That's it! "HERE" What a bunch of losers who work there!! I have never had such horrible service ANYWHERE!! I would not recommend anyone go to that AutoZone ever!! read more

We needed a headlight and the bracket to hold the light housing. The manager, Brian, fixed the bracket and replaced the bulb for us and let us know how to fix a crack in the lens. We wish we could have got him to take a tip but he wouldn't do it. I know where we will go next time. read more

Writing this review literally as my husband and I are leaving the parking lot. Lines are always super slow, staff is rude and the last straw was my husband dropping off oil jugs outside and an employee screaming that he has to bring them inside, then AS HE IS BRINGING THEM INSIDE another employee yells "hey you better bring those inside next time!!". worst location ever. read more
