Mind you I didn't not receive my points for the purchase per VIP Customer. I only paid $900 at dealership previously. Anyway, Friday am I woke to tire losing air. Called Blain's Farm & Fleet- Warranty Work and ER. Nope you have to have an appointment. WHAT I have a tire losing air and need repaired immediately. Nope appointment set for Saturday. so Sat. 5:45 they call- close at 6. We can't find the leak. Really, I explained exactly where the nail was as it's a square headed roofing nail (brother is getting his roof done) he asked can I keep the car and get assistance and fix in am. I said yes, What time. He then explains I'll have to wait until 11 as I have other appointments. UM nooo I am a rollover from Sat and should be first. He said Nope I can't do that; I can't move other appointments to do your car. Um WTF? My appointment was Sat. not Sun.; I have been waiting since Friday to get a tire fixed. Never --Never go there to purchase tires. They are sooo messed up. I am furious and now it's Sunday and it's 12:30 and still not car!! I'm done!!

Had to stop in first thing on a cold day while it was raining. Within seconds of entering the store…read morewe were asked how we could be helped. We expained what was going on with our car and explained that it was dying but starting back up, and we would like him to test the battery and alternator to see if that was the problem. He put on his rain coat and took his computer out in the rain to check our car. He told us the readout was fine and there were no problems with either the battery or alternator. Then he told us that Honda's have a problem with the distributor cap and coils and that he really thought that was the problem. Well the part was over $200 and of course he explained you can't return it once it is purchased as it is a non returnable item. We figured since the battery and alternator tested fine maybe he was right. He continued to explain how to replace the part on the car and said people have changed them in his lot before. He said he had the tools if we need to use them and explained everything I needed to do. My friend called his mechanic friend who was willing to install it for $125 but I told him it sounded like something I could do. Advance Auto Parts really came through on this and saved us a lot of money and time by explaining why he thought this was the problem and the proper way to install the part. After we installed the new cap and coils the car ran and started excellent! He diagnosed the problem correctly and we got the car back on the road very quickly. Greg was the guy that helped us and I must say he is really very knowledgeable and very helpful. He didn't complain about the weather and tell us to come back later, he did his job and he went above and beyond to diagnose the problem and he made sure we knew how to install the part. Honestly this has been the best experience I have had at any of the auto part stores and I will make sure I return to this store for all of my parts. Thank You Greg!!
