Today I got in the zoooone. My DuraLast Gold battery died at 23 months into its 3 year warranty. I was dreading taking it there, fearing a bunch of obstacles to block the warranty. The manager here, Drake S has horrible customer service I went in to purchase a simple gas cleaner for my vehicle. I didn't know which one to buy so I asked him he asked me about my vehicle. I told him what kind of vehicle I have he instructed me to go to the junkyard. I was confused. I said why would I go to the junkyard? He said my vehicle was a trash car. I simply went in here to buy a gas treatment cleaner. I will never come back to this location. I asked why would he tell me something like that? He said he didn't like the particular car OK I'm a customer. Treat me as a customer. I didn't find his humor to be funny. He said oh I'm sorry you're having a bad day. This afternoon I bought a brand new battery first of all the guy did not know what the hell he was doing took almost 30'mins to put the battery on and was asking how to do it like i would have a clue then another worker came out to assist him which he did it very quickly. Now I get to my job fine as I'm about to leave my car is completely dead!!!! The guy that change my battery put it wrong not tightened the screws creating the battery to move making me have more stress in my life. I purchased a battery at AutoZone 2120 University drive Coral springs. One year and 8 months ago. Then they realized they couldn't install it. Incompetent staff. Sent me next door to pep boys. They installed a different battery without my knowledge taking the battery that I paid for from autozone. Came back with a bad battery they would not honor the 3-year warranty because it wasn't their battery. I explained to them what happened that pep boys that you sent me to swapped out my battery and put in a cheap battery without my knowledge. You didn't care I spoke with the manager he didn't care cuz it wasn't their battery. Spoke with corporate they didn't care. I got ripped off. They scammed me. Would never do business with them again. As soon as I walked in I was helped and all problems that I was having with my vehicle were handled in a professional and courteous manner while being able to talk frankly as people hope they can. BEWARE!!!!!!! I brought my car in to have the battery level checked to see if I needed a new battery! They put the battery tester under the hood meanwhile my battery is in the back under the seat. The guy said it didn't matter where the battery was and that either way it would test the same. He then tells me i have 7 percent voltage and it should be 12 and that i need a new battery. I asked him if he can test the alternator and he said it can't be tested until i BUY a new battery! So i brought it over to pep boys for a second opinion! The battery was 100 percent and so was my alternator! PEP Boys(pompano) were able to check both for FREE and they were 100 percent honest!! read more

I never have a reasonable experience when shopping at this store. The employees are not friendly. They seem to want to do other tasks instead of helping you and when you do get someone to help you they don't seem to know what they are doing and ask satisfied that they can't help you. Rude and questionable service. I bought an Idle Control Valve for my Mom's car and the new one made the idle rev at 2,000-3,000 rpms! I returned it and the guy said "if you installed an electronic part, it's not returnable." several times as if I was trying to pull a fast one on him. I told him it was defective and he just repeated the not returnable line. I said it's defective again and he said OK, but just this time or something like that. Always a hassle to dump used oil. They have to unlock the tank, smell it, and stand there with you. Im not dumping nuclear waste just freaking oil. When you go to advance auto parts they just point to the tank. None of this BS! read more

So a week ago I noticed that my car started slower than normal. I didn't think much of it and drove to work. During my lunch break, I went to start my car and it would not start it made a clicking sound. So I called my dad and he came and jumped it and he drove it over to AutoZone where they checked my battery and they said there was nothing wrong with it. So my dad drove it back to my job for me since I was working. After work, my car Would not start. So my dad Came and jumped it again and this time we went back and got a new battery. There was only one guy working there so my dad Ended up having to put the battery in. He had to use a wrench To unscrew it and the wrench ended up falling through my hood. Luckily it probably fell out somewhere and did not damage my car. Would not recommend this place if you need a battery change try another place. Their battery checker is apparently not accurate. AWFUL! Even 1 star is SOOO much for them. rude persons, and liars, that is what they are. The first time I was here they kept me to wait for 1 hour. I needed to change battery, and told them I cannot change because my battery has 1 more pin which is hard to reach, they just gave me some tools and told me to take it down myself. I asked for help, they just told me to wait. After 1 hour with my several requests they finally helped, and then told me to checking if battery is working I need to wait to tomorrow. (Tell me you took my battery how could I go back home?) I had no choice but bought a new battery. Then they sold me a battery which went wrong ONLY 2 MONTHS! Since it was a "new" battery I thought it was the car's problem, I went to 2 car repair shops and both of them said it was the battery's problem, but the guys in this AutoZone insists it was the alternator's problem. How could I believe the professional mechanic's testing for a whole day missed such a easy problem you found just by a voltmeter? And not only 1 mechanic saying it was the battery's problem! I changed a AutoZone shop (also bad, first time they said it was too late we refuse to test battery, second they also tried to let me believe the alternator is bad) and got a new battery and went back to repair shop, they re-tested in front of me and found no problem on alternator. DO NOT SHOP IN AUTOZONE, LET THEM SHUT DOWN. read more

Very unprofessional!! My car is out of commission, so I'm riding my bike. I called in advanced to see if I could return something that I purchased at a different location to confirm that I wouldn't have any problems since I have to ride in the heat. The acting manager assured me that it would no t be a problem and to go ahead and come in. After riding my bike in the scorching heat I was refused and was told to go ride my bike to a different location or to ride back tomorrow in the middle of a potential hurricane. I wish no star was an option. My husband bought 5 items and the transaction said 7. He tried to tell the cashier there was a mistake and the cashier didnt want to hear it and kept telling him he was wrong. He attempted to take advantage and charge him multiple times for the same products. When the manager came out he voided the transaction and said it was most likely a mistake. If it was a mistake he would have looked at the screen, saw the multiple ring ups, and fix it. Not yell at tell my husband hes wrong in hopes he would just say screw it and swipe his card.
