    The employee the first day I went (A young short black guy) refused to install new windshield…read morewipers onto my car. There was absolutely no other customers in that store except me. A minute after I walked in the manager (Another black guy who was probably in his 40s) who is the only other worker in the store immediately says he's going to take his 30 minute break. He goes to the back. I asked the guy at the register to install my wipers that I was going to buy from the store, and he says something along the lines of "I can't do it because my manager is on break and nobody else will be in here to watch the store." There clearly wasn't any customers there during their shift and the manager decides to take his 30 minute break the second someone comes in asking for something? He eventually says he'll do it really quickly. He then says "hold on I need to check something." He walks outside, and says "it's raining I can't do it" IT WAS NOT RAINING AT ALL! There was not a drop of rain in the sky, yes it was cloudy, BUT THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO RAIN NO QUESTION ABOUT IT! Then he tells me HE CANT DO IT BECAUSE HE'LL GET SICK IF HE GOES OUTSIDE! The manager comes back up and says the same thing they can't do it because it's raining outside even though it wasn't. Then the manager told me I could do it myself. I responded by saying "oh no I don't work here" and then I walked out. BUT IF THEYRE SAYING I COULD DO IT THEN SURELY THEY CAN TOO! I can only assume they only work closing shift just to watch the store and that they don't actually know how to do anything so when someone comes in needing something done when they're there they're forced to come up with some ridiculous excuse on why they can't do it to avoid doing their jobs. HOWEVER, I did come in the day after and this older guy was able to put on my wipers and install a new battery in my car. He was super helpful and friendly! If you want something actually done, don't go in the store when those two lazy and incompetent workers are there.

    I live in Boca Raton, i drive from Glades Road to this location cause i feel the quality of parts…read moreis there. But i have to say their customer service is terrible. If you call your always placed on hold you can never figure out what they say before your placed on hold cause most times their busy inside and are frustrated by picking up the phone period. Then when u get a guy on the phone they rush you and their patients is thin. Today i called and waited for 10 mins before i was helped, i didn't even know if i called the right place cause the person whom answered the phone wasn't clear at all. When i did speak to a person there whom name was Neil, i gave him the info he needed, he asked me a question but i didn't know if he was speaking to me or a customer inside i hesitated to reply and then it happened, Neil decided to scream. I asked him why he was screaming and he replied because i didn't answer him.. I have never been screamed at by any customer service in my life. when i asked for a manager he said call back in the morning. i asked for a name he said ask for kenneth. i tried calling back not believing their wasnt a manage on duty when i called and asked the managers name was Neil.. Go figure same guy that screamed at me. with this said i went to auto zone and bought the parts i needed. Great ROI Neil!!!

Upon arrival of my appointment time, I waited in line and was assisted when it was my turn. The employee was aware of my situation and was able to look up the details from the order number. I also asked about other services and he gave me knowledge answers. He was very personable and helpful and kept the line moving. It was estimated my car would take about 2 hours but it ended up taking about 5 hours. They also never sent me quotes regarding the services I estimated but I didn't inquire further. Good location, good service. Never had an issue. I will say I think their prices are slightly higher than other shops.

And then because they only accept one coupon per purchase, you can't use the coupon(s) you have for anything else or even get your senior citizen discount. That's the scam I ran into at pep boys. I had a 15% off coupon from their prior survey I took and I'm also a senior citizen. But when I bought brakes, I'm told there's already a $75 discount built in, so they can't accept any of my other coupons for other work I had done (e.g., oil change, cabin filter, daylights) So I wrote to their HQ on 10/17 and received an immediate reply how it's being sent to their "Field Leadership Team." Upon hearing nothing in 2 weeks, I replied on 10/30. I received an apology with the same BS. Just horrible service. Did I mention I've been their customer for 25 years? Update: After 2 weeks, their final answer is they only accept 1 coupon. What would you think if you walked into JC Penneys and brought a few items over to the cashier to purchase... then presented your 35% off coupon only to be told, oh, there's already a discount built in so we cannot accept a coupon? Update 11/4: Someone from Pep Boys left me a phone message yesterday. I don't want to sound like a racist, but what would you think if someone left you a message and due to their accent and speed at which they spoke you couldn't understand a word they said? Of course I couldn't understand the phone number either, but I won't call back.
