My battery died at Publix at around 7:00pm. I saw the AutoZone directly across the street and thought, "Oh, thank God, it's right there." But when I walked in, they refused to help me. Told me I would need to get it towed to the store. I was willing to buy a new battery. They didn't even say sorry. I went to a different place the next day. The battery in my Prius has ceased to exist. Well, after having my car since 2012 and not changed the battery after all this time, I think I pretty got my money worth. It's time for a new one. This store is brand new and not too far from my house. I took the old battery out of my car and walked right into the store with me. The store staff asked me to leave it on the counter while he tests and see if the battery is really dead. Well, it is. Then he helped me and picked out the right battery for my car. I wished I had time to walk around the store a bit more and see what it's got. But I was in a hurry to get back to my car and install the newly purchased battery, I had to leave right away. The entire transaction took about less than 10 minutes so I was pretty happy with that. read more

Best part was that I had forgotten that I bought it from here a little over two years ago but Mike was of great help to be super honest, instead of being a quick salesman for another $250 battery, he looked up my phone number on the warranty lookup system to let me know that I was still covered! This AutoZone has earned my trust and business. P.s. don't settle for the plain Duralast battery, go for the Gold or Platinum. I called the day before to check on part availability and cost and spoke with a very nice guy... But when we went in the next day to purchase . . . . Rude, obnoxious, confrontational sales person. We got what we came in for, but not without being first given wrong info by the salesman, & the manager getting involved (he was rude as well). My wife and i were friendly and simply asked a couple of questions to be sure we got the part we needed, even brought in the old one for comparison . We expect customer service, not to be treated like the staff is doing us a favor. Additionally, it says on the door that mask wearing is requested. This particular salesman was un masked... and was speaking LOUDLY RIGHT IN OUR FACES! Will NEVER go back to this store. read more
