Probably my best Autozone experience ever. I don't know much about cars and one of my headlights went out so I went to Autozone for a replacement and Carlos was super helpful in finding the right bulb for my car and installing it for me. He was super attentive and answered all of my questions about the installation (so hopefully I can learn to do it on my own). Will definitely be coming back for any further car needs. He also helped be find retrofit led lights for my low beams and brake lights which my dad will help me install. Thanks Carlos! read more

Love this place. Especially Raymond. I usually go to gas stations and ask them to put in power steering fluid. But one time I was low on gas and could only make it to auto zone. Raymond not only suggested power steering fluid, but also the additive that helps stop the leak. He went above and beyond for me and my car lasted so much longer because of it. He even gave me a print out of the part I need for my car when I do decide to have it fixed. I'd rather go here than a sleazy mechanic any day, lol. read more

Great experience shopping here, both Bear and his colleague were super attentive. My car got rejected during my inspection and I swung by to pick up a few things. I really do not care for this Autozone but quickly went in for an item. While I'm dealing with the credit card machine, a supervisor tells the cashier that they are not meeting their donation quota for charity xyz. He suggests simply charging customers a dollar without asking or notifying them going forward. Yikes. No integrity, and no qualms about saying that in front of a customer. My AC did not work went in to get some ACPro intending to charge the AC myself. Without a thought, Raymond said he would come out and do it for me. The can I had purchased had run out and he said it would only take a small can more to fully charge it. I said ok I will run in and buy another he said I will run in and grab one and you can pay when it is done. As he recharged the AC he gave a lesson on the cars AC system and on how to recharge the system to me, my daughter who just got her license and my 13 yr old son. Now we all have a better idea of how to service the cars AC system. What a nice guy! I would definitely recommend stopping in to see Raymond if you need auto parts or assistace. read more

I went to AutoZone to get new wipers and a blinker replacement bulb the day before I was supposed to make a trip to Canada. Ray came out and changed both wipers and replaced the bulb in 17 degree weather with a smile on his face. I couldn't have asked for a better customer experience and will definitely be back. read more

She used the diagnostic machine to help me determine what was going on with my car. Although, it was a severe issue, her professionalism put me at ease. She wanted me to be knowledgeable prior to going to auto repair shop. The dealer diagnostic was similar. I would definitely visit this place again. read more

The guy who oh so reluctantly helped me with a simple bulb replacement on my car, didn't speak very much, and was very seemingly annoyed to be at work that day. He also rung something up without me wanting it. He said I need to have it, rung it up, and told me the total. Luckily it wasn't expensive. Usually people SUGGEST a product then let the customer decide if they want it or not. Nope. Not here. Anyway, he sold me the bulb and I asked if he could help put it back in since I had no idea how he took it out. He just almost couldn't be bothered. There was no one else around for customers anyway so that wasn't an issue. Anyway, this isn't the first time service has absolutely sucked here and I do try to avoid going here but I was passing by and wanted this bulb changed. I definitely will never go back. It's got the worst service around as far as autozones go. read more

I needed a headlight bulb - a part that costs less than 3 dollars. I had been procrastinating, and then it was pouring and I figured, you know, seeing and driving at the same time is a good thing. SO . . .into Autozone I went. The cashier rung me up, and turned towards the door with the bulb in his hand, "Which one is yours? I'll just put it in for you now - you shouldnt be driving without it". He stood in the rain, disassembled the light fixture (being very careful to keep it bone dry), changed the bulb, put everything back, and sent me on my way. For less than 3 bucks. Now, can I change a light bulb? Sure. I drive older cars and I know my way around them. Was I quite pleased to remain warm, dry, clean-handed, and ready for the world while he did it for me? Sure was! He did the same thing for the middle aged guy behind me, all with a smile, so it had nothing to do with being female - he was just a nice guy and he made my day. I'll be back. read more

I've been fixing cars for decades. I've seen good help and bad help and people who don't know what they are talking about but sound like they do. The good: The ladies there are very helpful. One gave me a free packet of anti-seize for bolt threads because they didn't have a can of it to sell. The bad: A manager? there, guy about 50 with gray hair told me I couldn't take apart a plastic bearing and that I needed to buy a NEW one. Really? I took the bearing apart myself because I wanted to grease it. Don't tell me it is 'not supposed to come apart' when in fact it is and it does. I greased it, put it back in, and it works just fine. Saved myself $66 instead of listening to that genius. He sure sounded like he KNEW what he was talking about too. UPDATE My bearing still works fine. Again I saved $66. Be careful who you listen to. Get a second opinion somewhere else. I know General Auto on Washington St in Quincy has knowledgeable people. Update New Experience October 2012 I got a warning light on my car and had a guy check it. He copied the code correctly on the paper but input it wrong on the computer - I watched him- it came up with a totally different part. I corrected him and he put in the right code. Then he starts telling me about $100 part it "probably" is and then tells me to buy some fuel cleaner because that will help. I actually just wanted to verify the code and I found that I just needed to CLEAN a sensor not buy a new $100 one or buy useless fuel cleaner. Geez, good thing I know what I'm doing. All that was needed was CRC MAF sensor cleaner for $7. UPDATE 2018 Bearing STILL works fine without $66 part 8 years later. read more
