Anyhow, the kids at the high school I teach at are awesome as is their auto teacher, and they do all my oil changes and whatnot and save me mucho dinero. So what I do is order the parts I need, and they fix it! This is where CarQuest comes in. I wasn't exactly sure what parts I needed, but I had an idea... something about an idler tension pulley on the a/c belt. Or something like that. Over the phone, Roderick was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions, ordered a part just in case I decided I needed it, and got me all taken care of by the time I arrived at the store. When I got there he knew exactly what I needed, knew all about my particular vehicle, and gave me suggestions. I bought a belt, tensioner pulley, idler pulley, and oil filter, all for about $70. Whichever parts I didn't wind up needing I returned, no problem. For friendliness and convenience, CarQuest was awesome and I will absolutely use them again. :)

They let the car leave their shop multiple times with bubbling and peeling. I recently made the mistake of brining my beater in for window tints which again required multiple returns to fix their work. They even left a huge LED lamp in my car and laminated a huge piece of lint between the tint film and window. If they missed a giant LED lamp in my car, imagine what else they missed! I had plans to do dash cams and remote starts on all my vehicles before winter but ABC Automative just isn't worth the time, energy, or frustration. We (my husband, son, myself and the mechanic) all contacted the guy to get him to simply to replace the engine to the correct one. In his workers words and the police ( yes the police) the engine comes from Japan and sometimes they don't fit. He tried everything under the sun not to return our money ( claiming parts were missing, not wanting to honor his 60 day warranty, and my favorite saying he wasn't returning the tax). The owner of this establishment is extremely rude and unprofessional. When we initially contacted him to resolve the issue he asked to speak to the mechanic. When the mechanic was explaining the issue he became disrespectful. When my husband and I spoke to him he hung up on both on us. We decided to return the engine. Upon arriving he became belligerent and called the police lying saying he had 3 black people (my son is underage) who were drunk asking for refund. After they arrived, where they let us know this was a frequent problem, they tried there best to resolve the issue. He constantly spoke down to me because "she's a woman." At multiple times the police and my husband had him to be respectful towards me. Well a day later and many antics later we we're able to get a full refund. Thank goodness for my receipt because he tried to lie and say that my son paid less than he did, they convinced him to give me a full refund because he wouldn't win in court.
