Come in this garbage dealership . On , 12-02-2025 and left with said vehicle. Was not a bad car besides it being a gm product... my problem come when I sold the vehicle I was informed by my sales men SHABAN @ woody. that I could cancel my gap insurance and my 5-I combo. I took care of the gap insurance. then when it come to the 5-1 combo they give a a very hard time I called over 3 times to get no call back, then to leave a voicemail each time to get no call back.. Terrible. My son and I went to go check out trucks. He was in the market for one. We asked the lot and not a single person came out. They just looked at us out the window. Mind you, nobody was outside looking as vehicles. And the customer parking lot only had us. We may not look like we have money to them, it may have been too hot for them to come out, or they just didn't want to deal with us. Whatever the case we ended up going to the best dealership! Let me start off by saying - I LOVE MY YUKON XL. I searched for the vehicle I wanted and found it at Woody's. I am 2.5 hours away so I contacted the dealership and Tim (salesman) got ahold of me with more pictures for me. We pull in the next day and there's a nice sized dent behind the gas cap that wasn't disclosed in any pictures, there are small dents on part of the chrome window trim... None of this was presented to us before we made the trip. After we drove it, I asked about these things and he assured me that since it's still under warranty, everything would be taken care of. I've had the vechile 2 months now and it's been back to my local dealer 3 times due to warranty work that wasn't ever completed - the dents are still there because, of course, it's not covered. AND I've just been told it needs new breaks/rotors/pads... NOT HAPPY WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!! read more

Not having great luck with the Arcadia so far. I have a 20/20 Acadia just after the trans warranty, my torque converter went out which of course you don't change the torque converter without changing the trans, so that was nearly $4,200 or so. I had 100,000 miles on the car at the time. Now I am sitting here for possible hour and a half 2 hours because my check engine light went on for my 2024 Acadia elevation, I have 40,000 mi on the car at this time. I am willing to bet that there will be a problem that will be outside the engine warranty. And can only imagine what the price is going to be to fix it. So after waiting an hour and 15 minutes apparently there is a radiator hose leak and because I already would have to pay them $196 to have them check the car The radiator hose leak will be $350ish to fix. And because it is right outside the bumper to bumper warranty they're going to give me a little bit of a break at $250 ish. I guess I should be happy that that's the only problem, but again I only have 40,000 mi on the car. The things that are happening is the manufacturers issue but when you own a business it's your issue because you're selling that car. And these issues just add up and aggravate the buyer and that's the level I'm at with GMC Buick. I bought or leased six or seven cars with Woody, I think it's time to move on, sell that car before something else happens and try a new brand. I just want to reiterate the people are good here, unfortunately it's the business that nickels and dimes you with unwarranty items and the wait times are just very long. I could probably change this hose on my own but I'd still have to pay the $196 fee for them to plug in the check engine diagnostic so here I sit for possibly another hour and a half. Now the question below says how would you rate your experience, That's a broad question because my experience with the people is good but my experience with the manufacturer and dealer are not. I just got rid of a 2012 Ford escape with 330,000 mi on it, I think an alternator is the most I've ever spent on fixing that car. Just saying. Thank you for your assistance Kevin. I actually thought I was done with this Yelp until I went to pay, I used my GMC card that you get a percentage back unfortunately they have a 3% surcharge when using it. So you get a card to get cash back but when you use it to pay for stuff that you shouldn't be paying for you have a 3% surcharge on top of the billing. Unbelievable. Brought a car in for service under this warranty and a week after having my vehicle in the shop the service department produced fine print and said they would not cover the accidental interior damage. My review is for the service dept. I brought in my 2018 Yukon for a free oil change. They did great, I came and got my next one. Then I was told 1 tire sensor was bad and I had a leaky coolant line to fix for $900. I brought it back for that work a couple weeks later and now suddenly all 4 tire sensors and another coolant line were bad for another $2300. I got all that work done. A few days later, I started having fan cooling issues. Brought it back. They said it was unrelated and needed a new thermostat. That was $800 (for a two bolt remove and replace). Then as I picked it up, before even leaving the lot, the engine was rough and service lights came on. I brought it back. Now I needed major engine repair for an internal oil pump. $4000 this time. William from service insisted this was all just bad luck, nothing they did and nothing related. Within a few weeks, I accumulated over $6000 in repairs from bad luck and just coincidental timing on a vehicle that has been maintained regularly. Luckily, I argued and got the $4000 bill down to $1500. This tells me they knew it was something they did. My Yukon sat for 2 weeks for that final repair. At least, I got a loaner. I'm sorry but I will never be back and I will never recommend Woody. The service dept is just another rip off scam like any other service shop. read more

Took my 15' Denali in for service , oil change and airbag recall . Waited for 4 days for this to be completed and when i got it back it had stains all over the interior, scratched interior panels and front windshield , the headliner absolutely destroyed. I cannot believe a "professional" dealer in Naperville would think this is okay to do to a customers car. I take really good care of my truck so this left me feeling disrespected. In my opinion, I would steer clear of this truck. I purchased a 2024 GMC 2500 Denali Ultimate in April 2023, and it's been nothing but trouble since. The truck has spent over 90 days in the shop, yet they still haven't managed to resolve all the issues. One major problem is that it consistently fails to start after being parked in the driveway for more than nine days--regardless of the weather conditions. For instance, it died on a 30-degree day after just three days of sitting idle, and within nine days when temperatures were above 40 degrees. On top of that, there are numerous electrical glitches. Even the supposedly fantastic feature of the kicker radio is problematic--it remains connected to your phone when the truck is turned off, and the only way to shut it down is by disconnecting Bluetooth from the truck. Furthermore, the traction control is highly unreliable, and the trailer brake control loses functionality while towing, making it incredibly dangerous. Why is it so difficult to tell me when Woody's actually filled the paperwork for my warranty refund. I submitted it 7/01 that is 12 weeks ago for a refund that was supposed to take 6 to 8 weeks at the longest. Each of these days I sent emails with a response that it would be taken care of right away and promise to keep me posted. Shaun stopped returning emails awhile ago. Joya said she would call the warranty company and get back to me right away. That was a week ago. I bought a GMC Sierra Denali and a Buick Envision on the same day. Now I can't even get an answer. My son in law was going to buy a new Sierra 2 weeks ago from Woody. I told him go to any other dealership. Once you buy the car they have terrible customer service. I HAVE SENT 8 EMAILS ALWAYS BEING PROMISED IT WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF RIGHT AWAY AND WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU..... BUYER BEWARE! l bought a used 2020 Chevy Bolt back in November. Tim seemed ok...at first. No follow through on my questions. Dan in finance rushed me through the paperwork. Once home, found the second key didn't work. Opened it to replace the battery. There was no battery in it! Nice inspection! Looking over the paperwork, found they added $895 charge for Xzilon treatment that was never mentioned. Brought it to their attention and after two weeks was told to see Will for a refund check. After I went in and waited two hours, Tim came out with paperwork to sign to cancel the Xzilon! No check. No Will. Guess he couldn't be bothered! I think I gave these guys a four or five a while back when I bought my car My third car by the way. I'm down to one star, probably more about being aggravated as I'm doing the review. I went in today for an oil change because they sent me a dozen emails letting me know that I have to get my oil changed, I also needed to get my ABS system checked because I got a stutter as I apply my brakes. Lot of things I could have been doing today but I went and did this instead. My appointment was at 12:10 p.m. and I got there at noon. I was advised it would be about an hour for the oil change and another hour for the diagnostic to see what's wrong with my brakes, and that alone cost $189 just to tell me what's wrong with my ABS system. 1253 p.m. I was advised that the diagnostic people were in a meeting, not sure why everybody goes into a meeting at the same time especially when an appointment was made to have my car looked at. And apparently I misunderstood the young gentleman who was very kind and very nice but he also apparently said that it would be another half hour to hour before I get my oil changed. He advised me that he can at least vacuum and wash my car for me I said sure. As I was waiting to pay for the oil change apparently saw me standing there and asked if I needed anything else and I said no I'm just waiting to pay and that's when I was advised I didn't even get the oil changed. This is the second time I've gone in for something and I didn't get what I needed looked at because of time constraint. I don't understand what an appointment is for, I felt like I was in an episode of Seinfeld. 12:10 appointment and it wasn't even going to get done until 1:30 or possibly 2:00 p.m. . That's ridiculous. Not to mention all the service text on a meeting at the same time. Anyway it's the last time I go in there, there's got to be someplace closer and another Buick dealer I could buy a Buick from. Apparently they're so busy they don't need my business anyway. I would advise against purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned(CPO) vehicle from this dealership. We bought a CPO vehicle from them in December 2021 and also purchased an extended warranty for $1,632.00 on a 2018 Traverse. When we bought the extended warranty the finance guy told us the CPO would be cover the CPO beyond the 6 year 100,000 mile manufactures' warranty that comes with buying a CPO. I specifically asked the finance man about terms and coverages. He told me that he would get us employee pricing on the extended warranty and The CPO would be covered until December 2027 or 126K in mileage. That is 100k in mileage beyond the 26k that the CPO already had on it when we bought it. My wife and I were happy that we have this extended coverage at a pretty reasonable price. Fast forward December 2024 and we are having issues with our CPO. I took it to service at Woody for a check engine light only to find out not only is the CPO warranty expired but also our $1632.00 extended warranty is expired. So I was left with a1300 bill to repair the alternator on our CPO. Shout out to service for getting it down to 872.00. I went to the dealership to inquire about the expiration and the current finance person said that the previous finance guy put us in a WRAP program for extended warranties. Which means it expires when the 6 year or 100k CPO warranty expires. I also inquired about extending the extended the warranty. I was told 3600 for 3 years, 4200 for 4 years, or 5300.00 for 5 years. In other words I am left with a CPO that is a POS and no extended warranty. We are upside down so we cant trade it. In addition, it is consuming a quart of oil every 1000 miles. So in other words we are SOL on POS CPO. I will not buy another GM product because of this experience along with previous bad experiences at local chevy dealers. I will not let Woody work on my POS CPO or my Chevy Cruze. Its all about making money and screwing customers. read more
