Went in for a battery about 4:30PM on a Thursday. It took about 10 minutes to get my old battery and alternator tested. Battery was 50% and definitely needed replacement. Mike agreed to put in the new battery for me even though it was passed his time to go home. The manager, Jason R is one of the most kindest people I've met. He really helped me and my bf get the parts we needed so we can get back on the road safely. After, noticing we were having a problem with our car, the only autozone open was about 30 mins from us. But they closed at 11p. When I called to ask if there was anyway they could stay open til 11:12 so we can make it, the manager said yes! When we arrived Jason and Caelick were very helpful. They even made sure we had all the tools needed and offered to help. They went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it. If it wasn't for them we would have been stranded all night. I went in to get some spark plug and wires for a car I was going to work on. I also got some oil that was on special. The customer rep. That helped me was friendly and helpful. When I asked about an offer that they were advertising I was told that it was over. If the offer is over you should remove the advertisement , or have all people on the same page. I had a dummy light come on, alerting me something was up with my car. I came to Auto Zone for a free diagnostic test that they offer. I wish I remembered the name of the guy that helped me, as he went the extra mile beyond just running the test and giving me the printout. He gave me some tips and helpful info regarding what could be causing the issue after the test results were discovered. He offered to look at my engine to see if it was one of the easier solutions and was honest when he didn't see the issue. read more

Came here the other day to see what was wrong with my car. I figured it was the battery but they came out to check if it was the battery, and it was. The guy who helped us got us a battery and installed it himself. He didn't have to install it himself but he did it anyways. I wish I would've gotten his name because he was super helpful. Extremely sexist and/or xenophobic manager, terrible costumer service! Went there to get a part, the manager quickly looked in the computer and said "we don't have it." When I get home my boyfriend called them and asked for the same part, response "yes, we have it right here." Aside from that the manager took my receipt after a return (from the wrong size belt they sold me 30 minutes before- btw, another mistake from staff, even though I gave year make and model of the car) and when I realized it and came to ask it back, he was blaming on me for not taking (sorry sir, I won't reach over your computer and take something you purposely place far from me) and took his sweet 40 minutes to print me a new one. I went in to get a new break bulb and was helped by Jason. He patiently walked with me to my car to make sure we got the right one and was also very patient and gracious when I suddenly remembered I had an extra bulb in my glovebox. He still installed it for me and told me to consider buying a little gel type thing to help keep moisture away from the bulb. I bought it and he put it on for me and I was on my way. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because of the gentleman Michael who helped me after the extrememly rude manager George Mason did. I came in to ask them to check the charging system because the alarms in my expedition kept going off "check charging system". Upon coming into the store George was standing while I stood there waiting to get help, didn't even ask me if he could help me. So I initiated a conversation with a lady behind the counter who replied "I don't work at this location i'm sorry" and looked at George and said i'm sure he can help you. George without even making eye contact said "Yah so what do you need". So again I explain the issue and his reply was "So what do you want me to do check your battery", again still with no eye contact. Moments later he returns with a machine and walks outside, stands next to my car and doesn't say anything, doesn't attempt to help me open the hood (which i'm more than capable of doing myself but isn't the point) and then after connecting it to my battery says "theres nothing wrong". So I inquired as if he would know what would cause the light to go off then. He proceeds to check it again hitting buttons and then states that one of the cells in the battery are all of a sudden faulty. $145 dollars later i have a new battery installed by Michael who was very helpful and kind. Literally pull out of the parking lot and BAM the light goes off again. So I turn around and ask them why the light is going off still. Another employee comes out and checks it again and says theres nothing wrong and as he so clearly stated "I don't know I'm not a mechanic". I replied then why did your manager tell me that it was the battery and I just wasted all that money on a battery that was perfectly fine. They didn't care, no help, just walked away. The customer service at this location has gone down hill 100%! What kind of manager treats his customers like that? My husband and I own multiple vehicles and have alwasy used this location for all our parts and will NOT be returning after todays terrible service. read more

Sorry but I will never go in this store again. I looked up online a turn signal light bulb and brake light bulb for a 2006 BMW Z4. Your website said it was in stock at my local store. The clerk at the store said they didn't stock the turn signal but they had the brake light. Okay, I get the brake light and go up to cash out. I'm the only customer standing at the cash register for about 5 minutes. There were plenty of employee's there but nobody came to cash me out. Why do you have cash registers at the front of the store if nobody is going to cash people out? I finally put the bulbs on the counter and left. This was the second, and last, time I will be treated this way. This store always seems to have a fair number of customers in the store. Maybe that's why you can drive customers away? Or maybe it's just under staffed? Either way, you just lost another customer. read more

I came in here last night freaked out because leaving work my breaks weren't working properly and I have a 50 minute drive home from work. I wasn't sure if anyone could help but a very nice man who's name I did not catch, (I know he had red temples on his glasses) was so helpful! I couldn't even figure out how to open the hood of my car. He did that and helped me get break fluid into my car. It was not going in very easily so he repeatedly pumped the breaks to get it to go down then would go back and try to pour more in. After getting in as much as he was able to he put the hood back down for me so I wouldn't get my outfit dirty and even wiped off his fingerprints that he left on my car. The whole time he was so patient and kind, even complimenting my nails lol. I was so upset when I went in and left feeling nervous about my drive home but so relieved that he had helped me. I feel he went above and beyond for someone who was totally clueless about cars. He also instructed me where to take the car and exactly what to tell them. If I could leave zero stars I would. I have used this AutoZone for years now, but will never go back in there or to any other AutoZone again. Was pricing tire chains. Waited in line for 15 minutes. Finally my turn to be serviced by a guy whose name I don't recall, but he is from Wisconsin and I believe his tag said he was the "parts manager". He said he didn't know anything about tire chains because he is from Wisconsin and they don't use tire chains there. He told me to wait for another employee to finish up so that employee could help me. I asked him if he couldn't look on the computer and see what chains they had available in my tire size and he re-iterated that he knew nothing about chains. I wasn't asking him to tell me how to put them on. If he doesn't know the products his store sells he should go work somewhere else or move back to Wisconsin and sell auto parts there since they apparently don't know anything about tire chains in Wisconsin including how to look them up on a computer. My time is valuable and to wait in line 15 minutes to hear that is unacceptable. I got my tire chains at O'Reilly's auto parts where they knew how to look on the computer and see what they had in stock in my tire size. read more

When I got to the store I saw a sale associate smoking pot in the back. I later found out his name was Lane. I looked around a bit inside to see if I could find what I needed. Eventually going up to the associate, Lane for help seeing he was the only one available and must have just came back from break. I couldn't get over the awful smell of pot coming from him. He was so high he couldn't answer any of my questions. Finally I had to ask for someone else's help. This associate needs to be fired. Worst experience I ever had at autozone read more
