I went to Walmart to get my battery replaced and right away the tech told me he didn't have the correct tool to remove it. So I drove a few minutes up the road to Autozone. I told Laura what happened at Walmart and she said let's go outside and check your battery first. Once the battery test was completed and said "YES, REPLACE ME" she said I can help you with that. Laura showed me she was going to have to remove this and that to get to the battery but was confident she could do it. I don't know the name of the parts but she did. Shortly after that Laura and Elie came outside to replace my battery in the disgusting Texas heat. They removed the parts she mentioned and they replaced my battery timely. I don't think there was a tool issue at Walmart, I honestly believe the tech didn't want to put in the time and effort. just got an oil change at jiffy lube and they told me that my battery was bad. I came over to AutoZone because I know that they test batteries for free. I was greeted quickly and helped quickly which was really nice. The guy came out to check my battery and j informed me that my battery was fine, normal and I just needed to tighten my terminal which he did for me. I'm glad that he had the knowledge and didn't end up costing me another battery for nothing! read more

I went to purchase a fuel pump for a 2018 Chrysler 300 had the pump installed and the checked engine light came on only to find out they gave me a fuel pump for a Dodge Challenger. AutoZone failed to mention they don't carry the pump for a Chrysler 300. Autozone will substitute parts when not in stock just to make the sale I also had to return brake pads that wasn't the right size for my car and once again the right pads were not in stock. When a part is not in stock they will substitute the part even if it's not the right part. I ended up with a $314 dollar bill from the mechanic that AutoZone won't even acknowledge I'm done with AutoZone double check the parts they sell you. read more

Store #3509 Visited the Atascocita AutoZone this Monday with a battery issue. A very nice employee named Levi tested it to find that it was completely dead and he helped me find the correct battery. He offered if he could install it for me which made the purchase very convenient since I did not bring any tools with me. As he was installing the battery he even notice that I had an oil leak that was dripping onto my manifold. He went above and beyond and was very pleasant to talk to as he was replacing the battery. Slow. They are on their own time here and it shows. They've never been rude to me but in the last three visits in a two week period I've stood in line to check out for a minimum of 20 mins. One time was at 11 in the morning, another was at 4 in the afternoon, and the last time was at 8:20 at night so no matter what time of day it's been a very long wait. They either need more workers or they need to move through transactions a bit quicker. One final thing, I ordered a product on a Friday at 11, was told it would be in that afternoon, and two days later it still wasn't there. Thankfully the manager knew I had issues with the delayed product and definitely helped. read more

Not very knowledgeable about their products, asked the front counter guy about if the had and breaker bars? He said no, I stated that they were in their website? They can't look up their own website information, while they are on the computer, looking up another part? Anyway after I told him that he asked another employee and they told him they had them and were they were at. Seems to me people need to know how to look up their own store inventory and be able to assist the public. Went to another Autozone and trued too get the $20 Rewards Balance, was told I needed my Autozone card, what I've made purchases at various stores without it and always only gone my phone number. Didn't need the card for those purchases. But, when it came to claiming my Rewards, I needed a card. The manager told me to call Customer service, which I did to link my new card with the old card, since I may not have the old card. Well after so explaining about the situation and them verifying my last purchases, customer service stated I needed the card to collect the Rewards, but not to make purchases. Really ok, I've just have to carry this Autozone card, anything as to not give out something, that the customer has already earned and has a the receipt with their loyalty card number on it at the top. Also has your name on the receipt as well. Also generally no attendant ask before they start checking you out, if you're a rewards member. I have to tell them, I'm a Rewards members, should be part of the check out process, if you are great and if not, would you like to sign up. Customer service has gone down hill and it keeps going down. On another note, it's all about choices and there's an O'Reilly and Advance Auto Newark by. I only come here out of necessity and convenience for oil filters. I've ordered parts and come to the store and the manager has shipped them back out because I didn't pick them up within 3 days. No call, nothing. I did informing them I wouldn't be by for 5 days. Parts I had already purchased online. The female manager is what I call a F***tard.
