I saw it when I got home and I took it apart and fixed it. It was very apparent that they didn't know what they were doing or how to fix it after they let the inner spring detach. 3) While I was fixing that, I noticed that the bolt caps on rear of the drivers seat had the tabs broken off and were just sitting in the space, because they fell out when I got in the truck. When I contacted them, I was told that they don't discuss diagnostics over the phone and wanted me to come in. I told them I had already fixed it and it was obvious that they didn't know what they were doing. 4) Today, I got new tires and noticed a rattle from the passenger side, when I looked, the screws that hold the seat in were not tightened, so the seat was rattling. An update from my original review. The bolts on the oil pan I had these people put on were not…read moreproperly torque down. As a result, the gasket between the pan and engine did not properly seal leading to it leaking. The parts had no issues with them and the installation failed. A gasket failure could only be fixed by taking the pan back off and because I was not in the area I had to get it fixed elsewhere. After learning why it failed I made several attempts to contact McCrary's and let several voice mails explaining the situation but none of my calls have been answered nor have I been called back. I would not take my vehicle here even if it broke down in front of their shop as they cannot preform something as simple as torquing the bolts down properly to is sure the part stays in place. These people can't preform basic installation steps and will avoid you if you try to get your money back after they fail the job.

Dishonest and incompetent! Brought them our F250 with a 5.4 work truck to have the engine rebuilt…read more Paid them a down payment and they promised to have the truck ready in 2 weeks. After multiple excuses and over a month later they claimed to have completed the engine. We test drove the truck immediately and found MULTIPLE coolant hoses leaking("Conveniently" they ink stamp on the invoice that overheating voids engine warranty)SCAM ARTIST!!! They also didn't complete other promised repairs. We left the truck with him again with a promise of repairing in 2 days and they didn't finish for almost a week. Picked up truck again and they repaired coolant hoses but not the manifold(as promised).. Worn down by all the lies and execuses, we accepted the truck and paid in full. After driving the truck for a few weeks we found an oil leak from one of the engine gaskets! Wow!!! The invoice you sign also states cash only and that the customer is responsible for all legal fees. So they are protected from credit card disputes and discourage lawsuits. Truly manipulative! They wasted so much of our money, energy and most importantly our TIME! This of the worst business dealings I've ever experienced and I hope this review helps you avoid the same!
