Having a dead battery, I drove to the La Habra store to buy a new battery. AFTER paying, the woman told me they did not have enough people working to install my battery. If I recall correctly, there were three people working in the store. I was stuck. Fortunately, I had tools in my car. The thermometer in my car read 92º and it was humid to boot. I was in the direct sun. After 40 minutes, I had changed the battery successfully, although covered in sweat. While finishing up, a blonde woman in a large pick-up truck arrived with a dead battery. A young man who had just come on shift started to install a new battery in her truck. I spoke to him privately about the seeming unfairness of the situation. He said he had just come on shift and had time before other employees left. While that may be true, I cannot ignore the fact that I had to do the installation myself and she did not. Was it because she was an attractive blonde white woman and I was an Asian senior citizen man? While I saved about $17 buying from AutoZone instead of the Honda dealer, I had to spend an unnecessary 40 minutes installing a battery that Honda would have installed for me. read more

I needed Wiper Blades and the team here went WAY out of their way to help me out. I have changed them before but the current packing is loaded with little plastic parts and I was lost. It may not seem like a big thing, but it was to me. I am 72 and my brain just doesn't function like it used to, my eyes either given the very small size of the printed instructions. Elsebio idk something like that. I really like that he offered. I didn't even have to ask. I have gone to other locations and I always found myself having to ask for help to have them installed. He also even went to find the windshield wipers for me. I've gone to another auto zone before where I had to go look for them myself. read more

Came here to write a review on the stellar customer service I received from Richard Gray at this location in La Habra off of Whittier Blvd. I walked into the store to get new windshield wipers, and I probably had a confused look on my face, because within a couple seconds Richard asked me if I needed any help. I informed him that I needed new windshield wipers and he jumped into action! After looking up my make and model of my car to find the right wipers for me, he walked me over to gave me different recommendations various brands of wipers. I didn't feel like he was trying to upsell me but instead gave his honest thoughts. As a woman I've always felt that when it came to car things people try to sell me this and talk me into that, so I appreciated his honesty. After I made my pick and purchased the wipers Richard then offered to help me out and install the wipers on my car! This was so kind of him especially because it was 80° outside and I was parked in direct sunlight. His effort and care was really nice and I appreciated it so much! We had a great conversation and I learned how to install windshield wipers. I will return to this autozone just for Richard's kindness alone! read more

This is long over due............ My truck broke down a few blocks from auto zone so I walked to the business in attempts to seek help. Luckily, the employee allowed me to borrow a battery charger so that I was able to drive to this Auto Zone to replace my battery. This employee went above and beyond and helped me resolve this issue. Be careful if the cashier has you use your debt card. They ask if the card is a Tap or Debt, I said debt. Then they had me go to another cashier were a "customer" was at and had me run my card. Within a couple hours my card was hacked and multiple trans action were attempted to be charged. Luckily my bank has a great fraud unit, I received fraud alerts and suspended my card. If they ask about your do NOT TRUST them. read more

This review is specifically for Carlos. I went to purchase a new air filter & battery. Carlos went over several options & informed me the previous battery I had purchased, was out of warranty. Carlos proceed to to change my air filter & battery. The model of my car is not the easiest for switching out the battery. I went into the store at the peak of the heat, which felt like triple digits. Although the task was not easy by any means, Carlos kept his word & worked on my car until both take were completed. He never complained or gave any indication that I was inconveniencing him, because of the heat & the battery proving to be difficult. Carlos is a true professional. Terrible service. This wannabe big guy I think his name was Charlie didn't get his lazy ass up from his chair while it was busy inside the store. He was pretending to be on the phone or looking through paperwork to avoid helping his coworkers. Then this short nerd comes up to talk to him to pat him on his back as if he's doing a good job. Had a great experience here recently! Called ahead to ensure the battery for my car was in stock. Carlos answered the call promptly and courteously, and explained the types of battery available to help me decide which one to get. Arrived at store to purchase the battery and the staff installed it for me free of charge. Jesse, the store manager, came over to check up on us and ensured our questions and concerns were addressed while Carlos installed the battery. I was in need of a new battery and I also required that the battery be replaced as I don't know how to do this myself. I live in La Habra and I called the Autozone on Harbor and La Habra Blvd and they let me know I would have to wait an hour or so. I then called this Autozone and I was pleasantly greeted and told to come at anytime and they would be able to help me without issue. I arrived 20 minuted later and was promptly assisted and did not have to wait whatsoever to be helped. Jesse, the store manager, kindly replaced the battery and disposed of the old battery. This place is new and really neat compared to other local Autozones. An employee helped me out with a battery change. He was really knowledgeable about different brands, their prices and durability. I just left Autozone in La Habra at 1781 Whittier Blvd. Jesse (store manager) and Miguel (who should also be a store manager) immediately helped me and got me a new battery for my daughter's car. Not only did they get it for me but Miguel immediately offered to install it without hesitation. As he was installing the battery he encountered some issues with the battery terminal connector but quickly replaced that too. This will be my store from now on. If I could give zero stars I would. Manager Sal was rude condescending he had a battery sale but lost a sale due to his attitude and unwillingness to answer questions. He tried to belittle the customer create an urgency and copped an attitude when my wife suggested we take our business elsewhere. Bad customer service, bad attitudes and not friendly whatsoever. I went to return a scan gauge ll that I ordered online. I had called the customer service phone support prior to walking into store and they said I was allowed to return it just bring in my receipt. I walked into the store and no greetings, no welcome to autozone like all the other stores. I saw the cashier staring at me while pointing rudely to the customer telling him to walk closer to the counter. I walked in to return the item and while he was helping the current customer he told the cashier that was ringing me up that I couldn't return the item. I kindly asked if I could see where it says on the website or on the return receipt and they said "you just can't" and they also couldn't show any proof on paper or anywhere In the store. I then walked out the store and drove 10 minutes to a different autozone, where they kindly took my return with no questions asked.
