They never did the work because of their head mechanic Alexander. They kept trying to upcharge me and convince me I needed a $2000 intake cam shaft replacement but when I got suspicious I took my car to Ken Grody Ford they found out they never replaced my high pressure fuel pump only the cam follower. They refuse to give me my money back. Make sure all work is done properly or they'll get away with scamming you like they did me. My car is now running like new no thanks to them. This is the shadiest operation I've ever dealt with. My check engine light was on the reason I brought my vehicle to them. When I went to pick it up they said the light wouldn't turn off because the oxygen sensors weren't getting power, and that was because something was wrong with my electrical system. He said it would be thousands to fix. I needed to get my vehicle smogged so he suggested I do a dirty smog (he knows a guy) He convinced me and charged me $650 for a dirty smog. I later regretted that and went to another shop who quickly discovered that my coils need to be replaced, a fairly obvious, easy fix. They said my oxygen sensors were getting power the whole time. So that was a down right lie. Nothing was wrong with my electrical system. So Stevens auto repair charged me $950 and the bill said in included replacement coils. Makes me think he didn't do anything else. I filed a complaint at www.bar.ca.gov. You should too if you sense foul play. If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been coming to this shop for almost 20 years, but since it was sold, the service has become absolutely terrible. I went in for a simple alignment that was quoted at $110 and was told it would take a couple of hours. Instead, I ended up waiting nearly five hours. I later found out the business had been sold, possibly to a partner or long-time employee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I finally got someone on the phone, they told me to come down because my car would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later, only to be told the car was actually at another location and someone had to go pick it up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That was another red flag. When I test-drove the car, it was clearly pulling to the left. The employee tried to tell me it was because of the road. I also pointed out that the steering wheel wasn't straight, and he wouldn't give me a clear answer. At that point, I told him I wasn't going to pay and that I would take the car somewhere else. I even told him that if another shop said the alignment was fine, I would come back and pay him. From the beginning, it felt like I was being misled. I later learned that the alignment machine had actually broken during the process and they had to redo the work because it made the alignment worse. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What really shocked me was the attitude. Instead of trying to make things right, he said he didn't care if he lost me as a customer because he was "blessed."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After reading the other reviews, I can see I'm not the only one experiencing these issues. Just look at the location and you'll see that they don't care about their business as well as your car. They insisted I needed additional work, when I agreed to the additional cost, they installed the wrong parts causing more problems. I still paid the higher cost and they returned my originals parts. So, what I paid extra for was their incompetence. They installed the wrong parts multi times causing them to hold my car for over two weeks. Went here to get 4 tires that I brought in to get installed. They charged me $60 for mount, balance, and new valve stems. Installation went smoothly and took a little over an hour from start to finish. The waiting area is a covered patio right across from the working area. The workers here are friendly with the homeless people that hang out beside the place and allow them use of their equipment, their waiting area and their restroom which some don't use mask. There was also almost a fight as a resident from the apartments next door had a confrontation with one of the homeless person and police was called. So my wait time wasn't so boring. If you don't like the drama, I suggest going elsewhere. Down grading my review from 3 stars to 2. Checked my tire pressure today and 1 was at 40psi and the others between 37-38psi! Way over inflated. These tires are for a compact vehicle that calls for tires to be inflated around 26-28psi. Also I forgot to add that this place does not use a torque wrench so my lugs were above the 80ft lbs. When the lugs are too tight that's when studs break, rotors warp. read more

Stevens patched one of my tires that had TWO nails in it. Took 20 minutes tops. Hasn't lost any air since. Was affordable. No Honor of Warranty with these thieves. I would put No Stars if I could. I bought 4 new tires in October 28, 2018. I come back 6months later May 7, 2019. I have two cracked tires with one tire that leaks air. No problem, I'm well within my warranty they gave me. No big deal right? Wow was I wrong! The owner or "Boss" Asael Bombela tells me "You didn't get those tires here, I don't sell this brand or size." By just only looking at my tires. I show him my receipt. Then he proceeds to tell me that his receipt doesn't have the date (which he is right) and where did I make up this receipt? I then explained to him our exact conversation we had 6 months ago and who was there with what had transpired. He's own son wrote out the receipt and He (Asael) took my cash with no hesitation that day. Then he tells me "you're fine you have steel belt train, your tire will not explode you won't die." Who the F&$K says that to a customer!?!? He then calls the tire shop where he purchases his tires by checking the serial number, and then tells me that I bought my tires over two years ago!?!? Again he has my receipt from his tire shop in his hand, and tells me that these tires are over two years old. I then tell him I purchased these tires from him six months ago, and the company may have purchased the tires over to years ago but it wasn't by me. I then told him I do not feel comfortable driving with these tires and asked him to at least change out the leaking tire because I am still within my warranty. Then he tells me "No, you want everything for free!" "I'll charge you half"... I don't think so! I called him out about their warranty agreement, then ask him why should I pay half when I'm well within my warranty? And that he needed to honor the warranty agreement because he was breaking a contract agreement set by his cheap ass tire shop and the customer. Finally, he agreed to change out both tires. I've been coming here for twenty years, dealing with the same man Asael with no hassle, and to be treated like this and called a liar is NOT Right!
