This place deserves a zero. I came in for an alignment quote on my BMW and specifically told the employee at the front, Andrew, that my driver's side door does NOT open. I made that crystal clear before bringing the car in and was told it wouldn't be an issue because they could access the vehicle through the passenger side. After wasting 40 minutes of my time dropping off and returning for the service, I was told by the same employee that they couldn't work on the car because they were concerned about "falling out" So why was I told the exact opposite beforehand? This is a complete lack of communication, professionalism, and basic customer service. If your staff doesn't know whether a vehicle can be serviced, they should figure that out before wasting a customer's time. Firestone needs to do a much better job training its employees. Save yourself the frustration and take your vehicle somewhere that values your time and communicates honestly. There plenty of mechanics in La Habra. I bought 4 Firestone Destination X/T tires at this place less than a year ago. 2 days ago, a chunk of the treadmill flew off and smacked into the inside of my fender. It was SUPER loud and really startling. I got an appointment at noon. When I dropped it off, the tech said it would be a few hours, to replace it, and he'd call me. At 4:30 I called and asked for an update and was told to be there by the 5pm when they close. I got here, and they haven't touched my car. They forgot. I took an Uber home and back. But now I'm sitting at Firestone in the waiting room anyway. I finally got the Jeep back. They didn't even rotate the tires. Even though they told me it needed to be done, he said he never put it on the service order,.even though I have the lifetime free rotation I paid for. This company sucks. read more

I took my car to the dealership for a routine check up. They recommended to have serpentine belt replaced. I took my car to Firestone and dropped my car off. I got a call after 15 minutes saying that they found some damage on the "2nd" serpentine belt and it needed replacement and I agreed. I got curious and called the dealership. Quick and very efficient! I went to Firestone La Habra to ask if my engine had any issues since the engine light was on. Manuel checked my gas lid and explained to me that unlocked gas lid might have caused it due to extra air in it. He called Matthew (Master Mechanic) to fix it. Went to service my company car for general maintenance around 10am on a Friday. They took all day to rotate the tires and change the oil. This took 6 hours to complete these basic maintenance tasks which is comical. About a week later I noticed the 2 front tires were bald on the insides. The same tires they rotated weren't suggested to replace. I guess they don't like selling tires lol I don't suggest going here for any type of service. They don't know how to complete tasks in a timely manner and don't know how to inspect tires. It's a complete waste of time! read more

From simple things to oil changes and alignment (great value) to more complex engine work. They currently handle five of our vehicles and I wouldn't take my cars any where else. Red Flags!, Beware! Called this place today to get a price for spark plug change. Guy on the phone asked if check engine light is on. I said yes. He says he would need to run a diagnostic for the check engine light before they do anything and they charge $120 for that. Also, he cannot quote me for the spark plug change until they run the diagnostic because there might be something else wrong. I said that's fine, suppose it is just spark plugs, what does that normally go for? He says we cannot quote anything until we run diagnostic. I said thank you, bye! Went in for a tire repair, they somehow managed to do 5k of damages to our car. When I called they were combative and sullen. Acted like i did something wrong for trusting them with our vehicle. Mark S is a real piece of work, at no point did he even begin to put himself in our shoes. Gary their 'Area Manager' was no help, and did not care to look into this. This location is great! I know some auto shops can be hit-or-miss in terms of service, but I decided to take a chance on this one since I live right next door- so it's very convenient. I called around 4:45 to see if (just on a whim)they had any availability for an oil change. John immediately invited me to come over and got my car in very quickly. He made sure to call me with any further diagnostics on the car, and explained them in detail to where I knew they were not just trying to sell me another product. They sent me photos through my email as well which was helpful to see as I was receiving the verbal information. He even suggested future maintenance that my vehicle may need down the line along with some quotes. I live a few blocks away and I will never come back. 1st time I came here I was desperate, and they knew it. I got a flat tire that really just needed a patch but they convinced me to get a replacement since it's a company vehicle and my company covered the cost. I didn't think it was a big deal at the time. My 2nd service I went in for an oil service and it took 2 hours longer than what they said it would while I waited there just watching them work on other cars instead of mine. I thought that was my last time going there. Lastly, tonight I caught another nail on my tire, I went back in after I said I wouldn't and waited in line, watched the salesman upsale a poor family into financing new tires. Once it was my turn and all I wanted was a patch, they said they didn't have time for me. I guarantee if it was a new tire again they would take my business. They give discounts when they can and warranty their work. Daughters Jeep blew a tire. Called up John and asked to have the vehicle towed to his place within the hour. He had no problem taking it in, appreciated my call, and I didn't have to be there when the truck was delivered!! Hour later the Jeep was dropped off. Got a call from them a few hours later. Gave me the quote to fix the problem. Approved by phone and off they went. Jeep was fixed and ready for a action by days end!! These people are FULL of themselves. I requested an appointment online for yesterday, Friday at 4 p.m. I received a call stating they couldn't take my car yesterday. Ok fine. No problem. Stephanie rescheduled my appointment for today at 2 p.m. I showed up to my appointment on time, as scheduled. Right from the get-go. My husband, dad and I went up to the front counter. A man and a woman were talking. When they saw us, they began shuffling paperwork, didn't acknowledge us. A couple of minutes later, they acknowledged us. When Stephanie asked me how she could us, I said I have an appointment. Then and only then, the man with the attitude steps in and said that even if I have an appointment, I have to wait until 6 p.m. Stephanie told me on the phone that it would take approximately 1 1/2 to service the car. But, now this abrasive man (Tony?) said that I have to wait until 6 p.m. What!? He had an attitude! He told me he couldn't treat my car like it was at a car wash. I will NOT give my business to a business that has people who are as RUDE as this man working there! read more

We have been bringing several of our cars here for years. We have the unlimited alignment plan for our van and also do regular maintenance on the cars. They generally do a good job. The main complaint is the scheduling is not great and quite a pain. We made an appointment for a Tuesday and arranged to be without the car all day. We let them know we needed it by about 3 to get my kids from school. They were just doing an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. When we called about 2 they still hadn't gotten to it and we ended up picking it up and taking it to be serviced elsewhere. Very frustrating. If they can figure out how to schedule so it's not so inconvenient to bring the car, that would be great. Otherwise they've done good work. read more

My dad had his brakes and rotors done on his car today, when he spoke to the employee about prices, the guy said one price for all four rotors and brakes. My dad called to see if his vehicle was complete, the guy said you need the back ones done as well and that'll be additional 400 and something dollars. When my dad mentioned to him that he said all four the guy said I never said that. Horrible service and horrible communication. I've had several cars serviced here and have never had any issues. They are honest and their prices are fair. My wife just saved 50% off of what the dealership quoted. Making an appointment online is easy and the entire process from drop off to pick up is hassle free. I suppose the only downside is that many dealerships offer you a loaner car, but that's why you're not paying the dealer high prices here. I definitely recommend. read more

To do a 30-45 min job the mgr tells me it'll be ready at 12:30pm. I said forget it. Mgr had an attitude as well. Not sure if they realize people have to work and are on a schedule too. And by the way, this has happened several times. I ended up going to PepBoys in Industry. They told me 3:30pm appt and guess what?
