These guys are the worst! I bought a faulty battery there. Brought it back, had it tested, it was bad. One guy says sure we'll swap it out. Another "Boss" said nope, "no dice!" Amanda also offered to install the wiper blades as well as checked to see if I needed some wiper fluid which I didn't cuz my fluid reservoir is cracked. March 4, 2023 needed to replace some windshield wiper blades on my car I reached to O'Reilly auto parts. I spoke to Sal who assisted me on checking stock to make sure they have the rain X blades in stock for my vehicle . Which they did one and have them installed by Sal . Excellent customer service by everyone in the store. Very organized clean and everything in stock at this OReilly auto parts definitely will be back excellent customer service, professional, and very helpful. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I went to this location and "jesse" was not a helping man in my opinion I am a young women and instead of carrying the battery THAT I PAID FOR to my car to place in my trunk he asked me if I could carry it AND to carry jumper cables... in my opinion it could've been done in two trips if he really could not carry both, but instead a grown man with a full beard asked me a (young girl) if I could carry them outside to my car... I went in to this location to get something done on my vehicle. I will not say what exactly that was here, in case I ever need to return there, since I do live in Whittier nearby. I went in to have the store to purchase something and asked them to help on the install. Took less than 5 minutes. Very easy thing. The item proceeded to stop working and I had to return to ask them about it. Problem was rectified good the first time. This happened twice more, and the 3rd time I was told by who I assume was the manager, but could be wrong, that "isn't this your third time here for the same thing?" Bear in mind that I am handicapped and could not fix this little item myself. I told him that the thing popped out and was not broken, but that the person helping did not push the item in all the way, and that was the cause of the problem. I was refused service despite there being 2 people on shift, and it was 4pm prior to their shift change. I hope that all OReillys stores are not like this, where their employees don't even have the a very basic understanding to handle extremely simple automotive tasks that are typically super simple for most, but tough for a handicapped person to accomplish. I went to the Autozone just down the street and was helped by a cool guy there who knew his hand from his knee and helped me with a smile and without a fuss, even though the purchase wasn't made there. Took him 2 minutes. No big deal. He said that you guys just didn't snap the item into place. Congrats. Way to lose a customer. read more

I called the Whittier store to ask if you guys price match Amazon and the associate that answered the phone told me ya no problem come on by and pick them up. When I arrived a different associate named fergie told me no. No way we don't do that. Then I asked if they price matched advanced auto parts and he said no because they weren't in stock. Granted it was only 4 bucks difference and between 4 plugs would only be 16 bucks, but I didn't like being told one thing over the phone and wasting my time and resources. Walked in doubting they would have the parts let alone know what I was taking do to the fact the car I was taking the part off was a 1940 Chevy with a front end swap. Long story short the sales rep by the name of Fabian helped us until we figured out exactly what caliber the original one had come off. (Meaning what kind of car/front end). The store was also very clean and enforced social distancing during this Covid season. I also do appreciate them staying open until 10 pm. This used to be a Blockbuster video store years ago and was finally leased out by O'Reilly and relocated here a few blocks east of here. This is the second time I visited O'Reilly Auto Parts in a week, earlier in the week I had to pick up some power steering fluid in Hemet and now today I needed to replace a brake light bulb for my Mercedes ML. Customer service has been excellent at both locations in Hemet the CSR salesperson came out to my SUV and helped me locate the spout for where to put the power steering fluid into on the Mercedes Benz and was a great help. Today the male CSR in the store of Whittier was solid too. I brought in the bulb and he confirmed the bulb was burnt out. He retrieved me two new bulbs in a flash for the reasonable price of $6.53 I also joined the rewards club today and for every hundred and fifty dollars spent - I'll receive a $5 credit which is pretty sweet. I'm familiar with O'Rilley's because my employer and I sell storefront metal and Glass nationally to O'Reilly's for their retain stores so in a way - I should reciprocate the relationship. Good service and many locations to choose from. Makes this a no Brainerd in my eyes! read more

I was at O'Reilly's and purchased 3 items, got to the counter, and Robert was taking care of me. The phone rang he answered, and was still ringing up my purchase, then handed me the plastic bag, to which I responded, my rule is this "I purchase the stuff, you bag it," I could tell he didn't like it, so he made me wait (still talking on the phone) thinking I would bag my stuff, I DID NOT, he gave me an unpleasant look and placed my things in the bag, and did not hand it to me, I took it and left. YOU MAY THINK THIS IS NOT WORTH WRITING ABOUT, but it is to me. I felt disrespected and am thinking about going to Auto Zone for my goods. Went in today (6/23/18) to get some break lights for my car. The female at the counter asked the normal year make and model, typed it in and just gave me a part number, I said ok? And where's that at? To which she responds "isle 5" with the flick of her hand as is to shoo me away while she answers the phone. I walk down the isle and say (in my head) I'm going somewhere else and leave. What kind of customer service is that? So I take a quick drive down the street to Auto zone where the guy was friendly upbeat with a smile and he asked the same questions except there at Auto zone he said "let me go get that for you", the way it should be done. Went with in on a Friday to return some stuff, went in with this little man yelling to a customer that he's the store manager he is in control there! and the customer and older gentleman just said that he doesn't want he's services and left. After that this little man (counter#58458 Chris) came to me and said what did I want lol what a joke. told him I was returning he asked why told him found a better product somewhere else. I guess that's went he got moody, told me that "why I should keep it and that i will never get better customer service anywhere else!"....ect Haha dude i just want to return something and get out don't want you little attitude of a 15years old girl. ZERO STARS... If you want your money to be stolen, this is the place to go!..the worker named Brian charged me $79 dollars for parts. Tell me why I went to autozone and my total would've been $45.87 even the autozone guy and my DAD that's a ford mechanic said Brian over charged me. At first I thought that was normal but when I found I needed other parts I went ahead and ordered those parts again. Brian "promised" the dealer would call me to confirm the parts were gunna arrive at oreillys but NOT EVEN ONCE did I receive a damn call. This place is just down the street from where I live but I will no longer be going there unless it has to do with my warranty parts. This place has been consistent with bad service including: not having my parts there on time, having no knowledge of basic parts or answering my simple questions and bad attitude. Example, they told me a part was going to be there at 4pm, nope it wasn't there. I asked when it'll be there? "tomorrow morning" ok, around what time? "Don't know. You could go get yourself in La Mirada if you want." Can you call to make sure it's there? "Oh...I'm not sure blah blah blah" by that time I really close to loosing my cool and I just walked away. And these are managers I'm dealing with. Example 2, asked if part comes greased? Employee turns around and asked his manager Chris "he could grease it if he wants" and turns around and walks away...smh That's just two examples, I have several more but I wanted to make this short. So much for that. The last example was the final tipping point.Next time I'll make the commute to autozone to get better service. read more

Just left O'Reilly and made it home safe and sound. I had to write a review about two individuals that went above and beyond the call of duty to help a distressed mother! I came in the late evening because my back window hinges came undone as I was about to head back home to LA. When I say it became undone I mean it was barely hanging on. I had a teething 15 month old with and Justin and Sam came to our rescue by helping us fix the window so we can make it home safely.
