5 stars! I went in to grab a new headlight bulb so I'd have it when I go to get my oil changed. I was greeted when I arrived by Andrea. She told me someone would be with me shortly. Then Donald helped me about 1 minute later. He looked up my information and had my lightbulb completely replaced within 10 minutes. Highly recommend this location. Staff is friendly and you can tell they enjoy working together which goes a long way in my book. There are several auto shops closer to my home and work, but I'll always return to this location now. read more

I've been going to this store for 13 years. I like working on cars have an auto zone card to track purchases and have spend thousands upon thousands of dollars in this store. The new staff is extremely poorly trained and their attitudes as if they can't be bothered to do their job by helping the customers. I use to know all the staff names and sadly all the good people are gone and they've been replaced by incompetent workers with attitudes. My code reader broke so I went in to get a code read the woman who helped me didn't know how to use the code reader stuck it in the car for less than 10 seconds pulled it out. I said there's no way you could get a code. She takes the reader in the store plugs it into the computer and the computer says there's no codes. I buy what I need to buy and she asks me; would you like to do it again and I said yes. She does exactly the same with the same results. She clearly did not know how to use the device and her attitude didn't allow me to help her help me because she wanted none of it. I left and went to another store and I will not be back to the store. Auto Zone lost a loyal customer. read more

My bf's car battery was pretty much at the end of its road. After striking out on inventory at a different Autozone, we were told to come here since they had his battery in stock. We get up to the counter and the employee already had our battery ready since the first location had called. He was super nice and efficient. So props to him. He said he couldn't install the battery because he had to help the rest of the customers in line. He did however say there was already an employee outside helping other customers and that he would be the one to install the battery. So we wait in our car and we see the employee outside working on someone else's car. He told us that he was almost finished and we would be next. He went back inside to grab some other tools. During this time, that customer who's car he was working on, informed the bf to watch out because that employee had no idea what he was doing. So when it came time to change our battery, my bf noticed that he was trying to unscrew something that didn't need to be touched. Thank god my bf knows about cars and just told the employee "I'd feel more comfortable if I just did it myself." My bf asked to borrow his tools and swapped the old battery for the new one in less than 3 minutes. He then asked the employee how many batteries he's changed in his life and the employee stated just one. How does this man have a job and is designated to work on cars and can't even change a battery? Note to managers and this employee, please ask for help if you don't know what you are doing. Just guessing and trying to look good in front of customers is not only cocky, but just dangerous especially when it involves changing a car part. Like I said, thank goodness my bf knew how to change the battery himself, otherwise, he'd be SOL. read more

Went in to replace a dead battery. A friendly woman helped me buy a new, almost $300 battery, and said one of the male associates could help me install it...he went out, took a quick look and said he didn't feel like it because it'd take him 30-40 minutes to do; this was around 6:30 pm and they close at 10 and they weren't busy at all. When I asked what I was supposed to do, he said I could take it to a shop the next day to install it, to which I said "okay, how do I get from my house to a shop tomorrow with a dead battery?" He shrugged. I know they're not required to help and it's technically a courtesy, but when someone clearly without the skill to do the task asks for help (after making a $300 purchase), maybe consider helping? read more

I had a front head lamp go out yesterday. It was after hours for my regular repair shop so I decided to stop at the AutoZone at 8010 S Eastern Ave here in Las Vegas. I had called ahead to make sure that they had the right part and spoke to Zay who was very helpful. After arriving at the store David helped me find the right parts as I decided to go ahead and replace both front headlamps to save me the trouble of soon replacing the other one that was still currently functioning. After purchasing the parts David escorted me out to me vehicle and assisted me by installing the parts. The first one went in easily but the second was in a more awkward position and was harder to install. After trying for some time unsuccessfully with the second one Zay came over to try. He tried for quite a while but it was still not going in. Finally Sharon, a manager on duty, came over to give it a try. She worked with it for quite a while and was finally able to successfully get it in place! I am so grateful I went to this location. My recent visit at this Auto Zone was dreadful. The management are ran by kids and were very unhelpful. They wanted me to wait an hour for them to recharge my battery. But when I needed help all the store personnel but one is willing to help the other 4 are just standing around with their thumbs up their butt's what a joke and they also said that it's not their problem. So please do yourself a favor and do not go to the autozone off sky point and Cimarron. I ask if they could help a Veteran out and they would not and also said they did not care if I gave them a bad review and notify the VA. What a joke. I normally go to Walmart and the battery never last and the time it takes for the installation for a 5 minute job is ridiculous. Pay a couple more bucks and have a Autozone tech help. Have been coming here for years and I am always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I noticed that my car was having problems starting recently so I decided to get my butt over to AutoZone because I knew I would be needing a new battery soon. I told you Eugene what the problem was and upon inspection he noticed that my battery was cracked. Eugene explained to me what would happen if I left a cracked battery in my vehicle. He gave me several options and I went with the best one. I now have a new battery with a five year warranty at a great price! While Eugene was installing my battery he asked me how my day was going and we started conversing and small talk. What a great way to end my day. I had a great experience today with the Manager and staff in this Autozone store located between Eastern and Windmill. First of all this Autozone is probably the least craziest one I have been in as there is never a time where I waited more than maybe 5 minutes in line infact most of the time there are only myself and one other customer in store so I get assistance almost immediately. The staff were very kind and helpful with answering all my questions too and the Manager who's name is Paul is just fantastic! Very professional and understanding with helping me get a refund for an item I purchased by mistake so I wanted to submit this review to show gratitude to him and his team. This hands down is my favorite Autozon store in Las Vegas! read more

This location is north of Windmill just off the east side of Eastern Avenue. These guys are great! We just got back from our first visit here and this was the best Auto Zone experience I can ever remember having...ever! The car started displaying signs that the battery was wearing down and would need to be replaced soon. The gentlemen working between 8pm-9pm tonight were rediculously friendly and helpful. He came out and tested the battery and let us know that it was the culprit. Checking out the system, it seems it was still under warranty. Sweet! I know alot of places frown upon you doing anything to your car on the premises(which I certainly understand), but they gave us the wrench so we could switch out the batteries real quick. He helped us yank it out, and once we bought the new battery, I slapped that one in and we were all set! Quick and freaking painless! The staff was so friendly and personable. It was a stark contrast to some of the other Auto Zones I've been to here in Las Vegas, especially in North Las Vegas. In less than 15 minutes time, they helped us solve an annoying problem that certainly had the potential to become a bigger problem. From here on out, this will be the first place I think of for all my auto needs. Thanks again for all the help! 5 stars. read more

I went into test a switch which they refused to do. It's a simple procedure that all auto parts places do as a matter of fact this one does it because I brought switches in there before. Anyway the guy was either too stupid or lazy to do it. So he tries to sell me a new switch and I said if it doesn't work can I bring it back and he says no. I did not have the same experience as the rest of the previous reviews. I called Monday to inquire about brake parts. I was told the pads I wanted they did not have in stock but could get them there by that evening & I would receive a call when they come in. The call never came. I called this morning to find out if the parts had come in. The guy took my name looked my vehicle up in the computer put me in hold twice to see if the parts came in, he said everything I wanted was there so I said I would be in shortly. I went in and the rear pads were there but the front pads were not. The guy I spoke to Monday came by and was surprised to hear the parts I requested were sold to someone else yesterday. I said to the guy, "I told you I would not be in until today". He said they only hold parts for 12 hours and walked away. This was never told to me on the phone, he said the parts would be there. The sort of thought the had everything else available but would have to check and as far as the pads I wanted for the front, I was told what store had them and told that I can drive over there and get them myself. He did offer to sell me all the other parts they had, HA...I walked out and went to an entirely different store that actually cared about its customers (not the one he recommended) and got all the parts. They could not believe the attitude this store exhibited. They apologized, gave me a discount and treated me like they cared about their customers. read more

I purchased a fan clutch for my 2004 dodge ram and it wash junk. I returned it and decided to go the water pump and fan clutch route combo. The fan clutch turned out to be junk as well. I asked them if the could return the fan clutch portion as the water pump was already installed to include antifreeze, new radiator, and thermostat. They advised they could not as it is a package deal. The water pump and fan clutch are both Dura Last products, so why could the not return the fan clutch? Anyway this was the second new fan clutch that was junk. They both made my truck sound like a jet engine trying to take off during acceleration, which identified both clutches being locked out. The end result is lost power and horrible gas mileage, not to mention sound of the engine revving during acceleration. This said, Autozone products compared to say O'Rileys products seem to be a lower grade of product. I would make O'Rileys or maybe Napa your first choice. Mayne its the plandemic that has created shitty workmanship in our everyday products? However, the fact that Autozone wouldn't return the fan clutch is just crap as its a Duralast product which is their signature product. read more
