I purchased a fan clutch for my 2004 dodge ram and it wash junk. I returned it and decided to go the water pump and fan clutch route combo. The fan clutch turned out to be junk as well. I asked them if the could return the fan clutch portion as the water pump was already installed to include antifreeze, new radiator, and thermostat. They advised they could not as it is a package deal. The water pump and fan clutch are both Dura Last products, so why could the not return the fan clutch? Anyway this was the second new fan clutch that was junk. They both made my truck sound like a jet engine trying to take off during acceleration, which identified both clutches being locked out. The end result is lost power and horrible gas mileage, not to mention sound of the engine revving during acceleration. This said, Autozone products compared to say O'Rileys products seem to be a lower grade of product. I would make O'Rileys or maybe Napa your first choice. Mayne its the plandemic that has created shitty workmanship in our everyday products? However, the fact that Autozone wouldn't return the fan clutch is just crap as its a Duralast product which is their signature product. read more

My battery died and I needed a new one so I drove to this location since they have been here forever. The service I received from (I believe his name was Carlos the assistant manager) was beyond the best! I honestly have no clue about anything that involves a car other than how to start it and drive lol. Carlos helped me take the old battery out of my car and put the new one in for me. My old vehicle was a 2000 Saturn and replacing the battery was simple in that car, but my new 2016 Hyundai elantra is completely different. We needed to remove things that I didn't even know was connected. If he didn't help me out i would have purchased the battery and got home and had no idea what to do with it. This particular location had great customer service from friendly employees warranting five stars. I called to inquire about a new battery replacement for my vehicle and the staff member I spoke with happily looked up the correct product and reserved it for me in the shop. I was able to jump start my car and drove directly to this AutoZone and another employee was ready to test my car's battery. Fortunately, I only had a dead battery and no alternator problems so I was pretty pleased. I purchased the battery and the employee installed it free-of-charge. Service was top notch and they keep digital records for warranty purposes which makes saving receipts unnecessary. Autozone on windmill and eastern the best. Auto Zone on Hrizon ride and Stephanie are very inexpensive. Both have great service they will even do some minor work on your car like battery install check your engine light if it's on. He helped us with our battery replacement, he tested it, checked our warranty and handled all the replacement. I've been in other Autozone stores before and they only hand you the battery and ask if you have tools for you to change it yourself, but Eugene changed it! It is a typical auto-zone. Usually I get superior service at autozone, but this one was horrible. The manager "Robin" was incredibly rude and lazy. I was looking for a tow-strap. I asked where they were located and she sat on her fat backside, pointed her finger in the general direction of the back of the store and said "down there." I walked in the direction she lazily pointed out and could not find them. I asked if she could be a bit more helpful and help me look, she said "dude, they ate in that area and if there aren't any we're out." Needless to say, I did not purchase the strap, or the back up camera I was also going to but along with seat covers, floor mats and a steering wheel cover. I sincerely hope a regional manager reads this bc I am going to make it a point to tell every dingle person I meet to avoid this store and the worthless manager. read more

I had to go here when my car battery was dying. Managed to sweet-talk my car into starting and drove it down here. Staff is friendly and they had the exact battery I needed in-stock. Also, I got a trade-in credit for my old battery! Sweet! It lowered the total significantly. The gentleman there installed it for me and made sure it was operating and good before I went anywhere. It took a bit longer than expected because I guess my battery connectors weren't fitting properly, but he did what he needed to make it fit correctly. I had to spend a couple extra bucks for parts but meh. Easy-to-find location right by the Rebel gas station, and there's a brake place next door too. If you don't want to jump out onto Eastern, the back parking lot connects and you can get onto Windmill that way. read more

Worst customer service. If the so called parts people can't find your part in there computer after 10 seconds they tell you they don't have the part. Autozone never has the correct part but want to sell you tons of other stuff you don't need. Might want to get some mechanical inclined employees. read more

5 stars because everyone else I've dealt with at this location has been wonderful besides one individual. I will not name this individual because I do not believe in shaming someone over the internet just because of a few poor interactions. I will however give some advice to this person being a business owner myself, because that's what I would want someone to do for me. Honest constructive feedback. Maybe this will help this person grow as an individual. So, let's get started. Mind your body language and don't tell customers they're a bad customer and that they lack empathy just because they were told five different times for four maybe even five weeks in a row that an employee had "a family emergency" or "was not here today and I don't know when he will be in". If that person had a death or multiple deaths in the family, I am sorry for him and I wish them the best. However, I'm just a customer that has been told, for four weeks straight, multiple different reason from multiple different employees, why I was never called like I was told I was going to be. I didn't ask for anyone to call me, I was told to leave my number and I will receive a call very soon. So how am I supposed to know any sort of details to feel empathy toward when I do not work with nor have I communicated with that individual since our first interaction? Maybe instead of making excuses for why you can't do something, take some initiative, like you ended up doing anyway, and make things happen. That's how you excel in business and get promoted. Lose the attitude. I'm certain any customer in my position would be upset having been told something would be taken care of and to leave their number and expect a call very soon just to receive no call and no help with the issue for weeks. I love Autozone. It's the only auto store I go to and I will continue to go to Autozone, I just hope this individual takes this feedback and learns something from it. I passed no judgement other than saying it was bad business to not follow through with things that were promised is nothing but the truth. So yes, 5 stars. Give them your business. They are great, I don't think this individual is a bad person, maybe they're just having a bad day. If that's the case, I hope their day gets better. Let's leave it at that. I went out of town for Memorial Day Weekend & when I went to start my car on Tuesday to go to work, it wouldn't start. From previous experience, I knew my battery was dead & had my roomie jump start my car. Called my dad & he told me to let my car run for a while to charge the battery...my drive to work its roughly 10-15 mins, so I figured that was plenty of time - but just in case, I made sure to bring the jumper cables, planning to take car to get battery checked on my lunch break. Welp, at lunch, my car needed to be jump started again....which was a ton of fun in the Vegas heat...I made my way to this autozone & left my car running, b/c I learned my lesson & ran inside.... Amber McKey was the person that helped me. I told her what was going on & she said it sounded like the battery wasn't completely charged & to try driving it a little longer to see if that would do the trick.( which is what my dad said too) I was surprised that she didn't immediately tell me I needed a new battery, b/c most car places try to sell you something no matter what. Anyway, I forgot to mention, my gas light was on..so driving around a bit was risky & pumping gas with car running could have gone really wrong...in the end, I decided to drive around the block a few times. When I got too close to running out of gas, I went back to Autozone. s/w Amber again, and asked her to go ahead & check the battery & replace it if needed. She said she would look at it first...opened the hood & immediately told me what the problem was. Apparently, whatever that thing is that connects to the battery to the alternator (to charge battery)wasn't attached properly & she attached it for me. voila! my car started. This is my first yelp review- but I had to do it! I have never had someone offer car suggestions, that didn't include me purchasing something. I would definitely recommend going to this autozone & asking for Amber anytime you have a concern. She will be honest & she didn't seem to have any hidden agenda, which is so refreshing in the automotive industry. Thank you, Amber! read more

I asked him how do you choose--he responded I don't know, ask someone else. You might be able to get someone knowledgeable to help you, generally auto zone is pretty good, but if you ask Darian, you're on your own. All jacked up on No-Xplode, and pulling out of LVAC at the same time can be an adventure like no other. Sometime, I'm pulling out of the parking lot and turning right on 215, and not realizing why I'm headed to 168 market for Portuguese egg tarts while I should be turning left and going home back. Or the other time, when I was on three scoops of that stuff, and turned north on Eastern for no reason at all, but found this AutoZone location. The day before, I just notice that dreaded check engine light went on, and wanted to see what was the issue. I kind of had a feeling it was TP sensor, because I just installed a KN intake system, but no sense in guessing since Autozone can verity it for free. I walked in, and there was about a line of five customers ahead of me, but it went by fast, and a woman named Faith helped me. I asked her if someone could help me on a check engine light issue, and she's smiled and went get her reader. I was a stunned, because she knew her cars, and told me it was TPS was out of range, but told me to pull out the sensor, and see if it ran rough or not. That should be the answer to my problem. She was right, and somehow talked me into buying a fuel additive, plugs and wires. Great salesperson, and asked a lot of questions on when the last time I tuned up my car, and change my oil. I wished my personal doctor would asks that much questions on my health. This store is not the nearest Autozone for me, but I might start coming to this location because of the help that I got. Manager Jason gave me a hard time. Brought my battery in after testing everything else to ensure the battery was bad. Jason hooked up a battery tester and said he couldn't tell if it was bad I would have to wait an hour and a half. I told him I couldn't wait that long I know the battery is dead can I please have a new one, it is still under warranty. Jason told me no no matter how much I persisted. Jason had no compassion and does not care about his customers. Reading other reviews I see I am not the first one he has done this to. Go to another store and avoid this store like the plague. read more

Went in to buy a new battery as I thought it was dead. When I brought my old one in they offered to check it for me, and told me it still had life to it just needed a recharge. It's the first place I go before a traditional repair facility; these guys diagnose and explain automobile issues and even fix what they can or loan you the tools to do it yourself in their parking lot. NUMBER ONE in customer service in my book. They've saved me BIG $$$ on repairs and their sale prices and specials on accessories and tools are as good or better than you'll find anywhere. BEWARE!I went there for a new battery, which they did sell and install for me, BUT... They started talking about *possible* alternator damage straight away (without even runnng a charge test) and then, after the a new battery was installed, the guy said he needed to "test it again" and claimed it "failed" and I definitely need another alternator (on a car that's less than 2 years old) which they didn't even had in stock and had to order from another location. I called my mechanic (who works for Mercedes dealership) and after asking me to perform a series of simple operations (turn key, check warning lights), he was pretty sure my alternator was fine, but said to go have it checked elsewhere (other than AutoZone)I took the car to Kia dealership (my car is Kia), they ran the test and I sure did NOT need a new alternator, which costs $358 just for the part (not counting the labor). Both my mechanic and Kia dealership said AutoZone was *famous" for selling unnecessary alternators. It's puzzling, because they don't work on commission. Maybe they are given "sales goals" like in department stores? Anyway, the great deal of anxiety they've caused me was unforgivable and I narrowly escaped wasting about $500 (alternator+installation labor price) read more

They spend quality time with each customer to make sure they find what they need and also will answer any questions you have. I came in there because my brakes were squeaking. I just had them checked so I know I didn't need to replace the pads. They showed me a brake pad and what could be causing the squeak and what I could do to fix it myself. I opted for this spray and it worked, no more squeak! I didn't give them 5 stars because the price is a bit more expensive than Walmart, but Walmart automotive barely has anything compared to AutoZone and AutoZone has the staff to spend the time with you to answer any questions you may have. read more
