ABSOLUTE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE. I normally don't leave negative reviews, as I'm a pretty understanding person. And I'll add that my gripe here isn't so much with the dealership, rather with the car salesman, Jacobi. I have purchased 6 new vehicles in my lifetime, and Jacobi is hands down the worst salesman I've worked with. For beginners, I live in a small town and had to drive 2 hours to Vegas for the jeep that I wanted. No biggie. I arrive and Jacobi is my salesman. Everything's good off the bat, we work some numbers, and I'm close to snagging the jeep. The numbers weren't very close to what I told Jacobi I was hoping for, and the down payment ($1,000) was higher than I wanted. However, I'm aware of the current economy and was still willing to move forward. As we shake hands on the deal, Jacobi then asks me if I'd like to pay registration fees at that time or later at the DMV. I ask Jacobi how much the fees are and his reply was "don't know" with a should shrug. How am I supposed to make a decision with no price point? Extremely unprofessional and cocky. (I'll add, Jacobi's persona and attitude was very careless and cocky throughout this entire experience) Come to find out, registration fees are $500 so that brings my total out of pocket payment for the day to $1500. No biggie. I drive the vehicle home and have it for almost a week. I get a call from Jacobi and he tells me I need to pay more down payment or bring the vehicle back. What?!?! How did we shake hands and I drive away with a vehicle just to be told the deal fell through a week later. I ask Jacobi how this is possible and he had ZERO explanation for me. So I ask Jacobi how much more down payment do I need. His reply? "Don't know". Again, how am i supposed to make a decision with no price point. Extremely unprofessional. I have NEVER experienced purchasing a new vehicle, driving it away and being called a week later to either pay more money or bring it back. Unbelievable and embarrassing. Finally, I get ahold of finance manager, DC. Thankfully DC was articulate enough to explain to me Nevada's "spot delivery" method and it's an unfortunate event but we had to rework some numbers. Very frustrating, but DC was extremely apologetic and helpful in getting us a solution. So later that night, Jacobi calls me and promises me he would be able to get me into the SAME exact jeep, just newer and for the same monthly payment with no more down payment. Sounds perfect. I agree to drive back out 2 hours to Vegas the next morning to get the deal done. Fast forward to the next morning, I'm driving out to Vegas and Jacobi calls me to ensure I am on the way. I confirm with him that the same Jeep is in fact there and I will walk away with the same deal that I had TODAY. Jacobi's reply? "Bro, yes". Sooo, I show up to the dealership. I sit in the lobby for probably 30 mins before Jacobi approaches me with the new deal. Lo and behold, there is NOT my same jeep at the dealership. Jacobi goes on to explain that he found the same one in Phoenix Arizona and it would be delivered to me the following day. So WHY did I just drive 2 hours out here just to be told the car is not there and will be delivered to me tomorrow. I left my 8 month pregnant wife and sick 2 year old toddler at home to drive 2 hours to Vegas for something that could have been handled over the phone. Jacobi lied just to get me there and sign on the dotted line. Thankfully, again DC was apologetic for the mishaps throughout this entire experience. (Meanwhile, Jacobi took zero ownership and blamed the inconsistencies on a "Christmas party" they were having so he wasn't able to focus apparently.) DC was so apologetic he through in a car warranty and $700 check for registration fees. AWESOME! I felt every wrong had been made right. The next day, the new jeep was in fact delivered to my house and I was a happy customer. Fast forward to about 3 weeks after the final deal was made, I still had dealer paper plates on the jeep and was concerned where the registration paperwork and $700 check was or when it would arrive. I texted Jacobi 2 times for updates on the registration. He ignored my messages. I text him again and explain to him I would really like to get this jeep registered in my name. He finally replies and explains everything was "sent to the DMV". I confirm with him "so when I show up to the DMV, they will have everything?" Jacobi replies "yes". Lo and behold, just like everything else during this car buying experience, I go to the DMV and they have no clue what I am talking about. As I am still there, I call and text Jacobi to find out where exactly the paperwork was sent. No answer, of course. After waiting for hours, I leave and come back a couple days later. The DMV still has no idea what I am talking about. I call and text Jacobi AGAIN in hopes I can find this paperwork or some sort of information, and AGAIN no answer. READ & BEWARE!! THERE'S A REASON THIS DEALERSHIP IS RATED SO POORLY!! New to Las Vegas. I was just like you. I read horrible review, after horrible review. However, due to the proximity of the dealership to my job, I relented & questioned to myself "How bad could it be? I'm just going for service..." WOW WAS I WRONG! Made an appointment for a recall & AC service on my '13 Wrangler. This was mid June 2015. From start to finish my experience here was HORRIBLE. As I pulled up (15 mins earlier than my appointment time), I was confronted--not greeted--CONFRONTED by Roy who inquired "Yes?" I replied, "Hello, How are you? I'm well, thank you. I have an appointment at 9:30am" Roys reply: "Last name?"...etc etc (very cold, mad at the world type attitude...he appeared disgruntled about a prior conversation he was having with another co-worker as I pulled up.) After accepting the vehicle for service, he directed me to the waiting room to await the courtesy shuttle. My office is about 1 mile away, tops. I waited in the wait-room for 3 hours. I inquired with the service dept multiple times as to why the wait was so long (I was the only individual there). Their response was that the driver would come to the wait room and the front desk announces when the shuttle arrives. Neither of this was the case. I went to the front desk as well to inquire, and they too had an attitude of annoyance as if my inquiry was so unreasonable after waiting there for over 2 hours. Finally after 12:30pm the shuttle driver arrived in the wait room and gave the excuse of a 'mis-communication' between him and the service department as to why I waited so long for the courtesy shuttle. He drove me back to my office, again, 1 mile away from the dealership. He explicitly asked if I needed a ride back to the dealership to pick up my vehicle when it was ready. I replied yes, gave him my phone num, & told him to call me when he was outside my office. At 4:30pm I received a call from the service dept saying the courtesy driver was on his way to pick me up & that they could not replicate the problem I expressed to them regarding my AC (inconsistent cold air from vents...warm to cold warm to cold). Although I was extremely disappointed in my experience with Chapman dealership thus far, I did not expect the next call. At 5:00 pm I got a call from the courtesy driver saying he was outside. By this time, I was more than ready to have my Jeep back. I walked outside my office with the driver still on the phone. I asked him "where are you?!" in which he replied "right here by your mailbox." Perplexed and astonished I asked "Wait, where?!" in which he replied more slowly as if I was disabled..."right here by your mailbox" and read my home address. After refreshing his remedial memory that he was supposed to pick me up from my office, 1-mile from the dealership, and not my home, 10-miles from the dealership, he quickly apologized and again blamed it on a 'mis-communication' & that it had been a 'long day' for him. When I arrived back at the dealership Roy explained that the AC was fine (it clearly wasn't since I had the problem fixed at a different dealership--cracked hose). He said the recall was fixed, and that he comp'd me on the tire rotation because I had such a bad experience. While a nice gesture, nothing could make up for the continuous failures of this dealership and how much of my time they had wasted. This dealership lacks professionalism, competence, and overall customer satisfaction (read the reviews). Clearly this is a management issue. The owner needs to rethink why this dealership has been going down the tubes. Workers at this establishment genuinely do not care about meeting their customers needs. Went to look at a used vehicle and decided to try and negotiate a price. What a terrible experience. They would not budge off of their advertise price. In fact after they gave me their last and final offer (which was nothing less than advertised price) I left. After arriving home I decided to try one more time and called sales agent and gave him my last offer. I came up in my price (which was $500 more) and the dealer countered offered with a price that was $1500.00 more than their asking price for this vehicle. They would not deal at all. We offered and countered offered for a day and a half. I finally caved in and bought that vehicle because I really wanted it but at the advertised price. During the negotiations I had asked if they would remove some scratches and apply some touch up paint to a few areas and the agent also offered a years worth of oil changes (2 changes) and everything was agreed upon. While waiting for the paperwork to get done the sales manager came to me and told me that they do not have a body shop and he would give me the name and numbers of body shops in the area that were good but I had to have the scratches repaired at my cost even though they agreed to do it themselves. This deal was an OUT THE DOOR PRICE and once I got into the finance office they told me that I had to pay for the registration ($400) on the vehicle at the DMV above the so called OUT THE DOOR PRICE. After a 3 hour wait for this deal to come to an end I finally drove the vehicle home. Once home and about 2 hours later I was going over the paperwork and found that they did not include any paperwork for the oil changes so I had to drive back up the dealership to see why. The sales agent had the paperwork in his pocket and I bet they would not have called me to tell me this. Got a call the next day from the sales agent saying that the sales manager wanted me to drive the vehicle back to the dealership for an inspection. I asked the agent why and he did not know. I asked him to ask and call me back. Sales agent did call and said it was due to a recall. The sales agent told me that they would give me a rental car to use. I drove back up to the dealership and the cluster F.... started. The sales agent did not know what to do after I arrived when it came to a rental car. He told me that they did not have anymore plates to put on a vehicle so I could drive home. After about 45 minutes the sales agent told me that they are going rent me a car from Enterprise. I had to follow the sales agent to another dealership, leave the car that I had purchased on that lot and he drove me to enterprise. The dealership told me that the recall effected the passenger side airbag and that they should not have sold the vehicle without fixing it. I had asked if I could sign some paper to release them of this and I would take care of this myself. I think the sales agent was afraid to ask. I should have not returned to this dealership. Things just didn't seem to add up so I called the dealership ( which was another manufacturer ) that was going to fix this airbag recall and found out that were no recalls at all on this vehicle. I called sales agent and gave him this information and demanded that he have his sales manager give me a call. Got a call about 10 minutes later from the sales agent and he told me that the car was done and I can pick it up. The right hand does not know what the left is doing at this dealership and I will never deal with them again. By the way, they told me that they were going to give me a full tank of gas when I purchased this car and they only gave me a 1/2 tank. Pathetic!!!! It just seems like no one at this dealership can do anything and I mean anything without asking first. If dealing with this dealership be prepared to pay full price and wait for hours for things to get finalized. read more

Beginning my search for a new vehicle to accommodate my growing family, I sought dialogue with Chapman Dodge in Henderson, NV. However, the experience was far from desirable. As I was urgently called to Las Vegas due to the birth of a sibling to one of my adopted children, I needed a vehicle spacious enough for four young children, including an infant. The team at Chapman Dodge refused to provide me with an outright price unless I visited their premises. I complied, hoping to test the vehicle with my family for fit and experience, to which they initially agreed. Upon arrival, I met Andrew, a salesman boasting his love for Chrysler vans yet paradoxically owning a Honda Odyssey. Despite my expressed need for efficiency, I had a pressing appointment with a case worker concerning the new-born. I articulated my intention clearly - I wished to test-drive the Pacifica, Odyssey, Carnival and Sienna and subsequently make a decision. However, what unfolded was a spectacle of unnecessary delay and untruth. When Andrew produced a pricing sheet laden with a superfluous $4000 tracking charge, I firmly requested its removal, reaffirming my primary goal to test-drive the van. In return, Andrew conveyed that the manager might not allow me to proceed unless I agreed to their terms. Exasperated, I confronted Andrew for his unprofessional behavior and waste of my valuable time, and was met with an abrupt interruption. The level of disrespect I encountered left me in utter disbelief. I queried Andrew if he had any personal stake in the vehicle and voiced my disappointment at his inability to assist me in a customer-oriented manner. I walked away from the disheartening experience, vowing never to invest my hard-earned $31,000 into a business that fosters rudeness and disrespect. The manager, playing the proverbial Wizard of Oz, stayed behind his desk, absent of any intervention or introduction. Chapman Dodge seems to thrive on strong-arming customers into deals. I would advise those lacking assertiveness to steer clear of this establishment. Mere minutes after my exit, I received a text apology, notifying me of the removal of the bogus charges. The Service Department rocks!!!! So my A/C goes out on my 14 Chrysler 300 C 3 weeks after my warranty expires and still 5,000 miles under the 36,000 miles but over on time. So I take it to the shop praying it just needs to be recharged, nope it needs $2,400.00 in repairs and the extended warranty I just purchased doesn't kick in for 30 Days and won't cover anything that was bad before or during the 30 days and the Factory Warranty is out. I went and spoke with the service writer Memo and he directed me to the Shop foreman to see if they could help me in anyway. The shop foreman Kurt tells me he will speak with Virgil the Service Manager and have him call Chrysler and see what they can do for me, at this point I'm thinking there goes my vacation money. The Service Manager calls me the next day and ask me if I would be ok if he can get them to pay the Labor and I buy the parts, the parts were less than $500 and I tell him absolutely. I have now saved about $2,000 and my Vacation is back on, so they schedule an appointment to get the work done which would be after the weekend. So when I show up Virgil approaches me and says Mr Moore can you pay $139 Plus Tax and I'm thinking on top of the $500, I say yes and prepare to pay $639 Plus Tax. I leave the vehicle on Monday thinking it would be done on Thursday or Friday which I get a call Tuesday evening right before they close to tell me my vehicle would be ready the next morning to pick up. So I arrive the next day and they had me my bill that I have mentally already paid the over $700 and I look down and my Total is $150.20 which I gladly paid. I can't thank these guys enough for going to the extra mile when it was just as easy to tell me sorry your warranty has expired and a lot of dealers or shops in general would have. My goodness, where do I begin? Well, let me start by saying Just go talk to Marco Guzman and or Marc Ward lol!!! Monday May 25th after getting off work our car broke down on us. While driving, it literally just cut off!! *Fun note, I'm pregnant, tired, and hungry, and my husband is just trying to keep me calm*. So once we get a tow, we find that the car isn't worth fixing, it made more sense to buy a new car. *PANIC MODE*, not the best of credit, and payday wasn't until that Friday, and just my luck this is my rent check coming up. No way to work for me or my husband, or my Dr. Appt. SMH. A co worker referred me to this dealership. My main point of contact had left for the day. After a 2hr bus ride w/ my 3yo and husband we arrived at Chapman. We worked with Marc Ward the manager, and salesman Marco!! These men are Angels! Truly a blessing. As someone who has worked in Customer Service for years, I can tell you they are phenomenal! They entertained our restless, super excited, mini car connoisseur son lol. They didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. They were patient, they pulled out the works. They answered our million questions. We got an amazing loan deal, we got a Nissan Murano (perfect for us expecting to have another carseat, and already having a dog and kiddo). I literally cried! We left Wednesday night with our new family vehicle, the reassurance a friend would give you, and feeling totally relieved. Our car note is fab! As we expected way worse. I brag to everyone about them now!! Please stop here for your new or pre-owned car and ask for Marco Guzman or his manager Marc Ward. Initially, I had a less than satisfactory encounter, which I had shared here. However, I am pleased to report that my recent experience was nothing short of amazing. Jeremy apologized for the previous incident, which was a gesture I greatly appreciated. It takes a lot of humility and professionalism to admit a mistake and make amends, and Jeremy did just that. This time around he went above and beyond to ensure that my subsequent experience was a positive one. In our recent interaction, Jeremy displayed a complete change in behavior. He was attentive, patient, and extremely helpful. He took the time to understand my needs and concerns, and worked diligently to address them. His customer service skills were exceptional, he made sure to stay in constant communication about the vehicle and he made me feel valued and respected as a customer. I was particularly impressed by his commitment to rectifying the situation. He didn't just apologize and move on; he took concrete steps to improve his service. This shows a high level of dedication to customer satisfaction, which is commendable. In conclusion, I would like to express my gratitude to Jeremy Novoa and the team at Chapman Chrysler Jeep for turning a negative experience into a positive one.
