Maybe it's because I didn't come specifically to purchase something? It's nice that the OBD scanner is a free service that brings in customers. However, I'm not the fastest of walkers, especially lately with a pulled knee. I don't know where the sales rep was going in such a hurry when he didn't even know what car was mine. He even made it in the store behind the desk before I even had a chance to walk around the corner from the parking lot that's oddly placed to the side of the entrance. Kinda bummed at what the scanner detected personally. He did share the pricing of the parts, but not much info willingness to answer any other questions which just made me hesitant to pre-purchase parts for a mechanic. This place is definitely not my realm so someone being a little warmer, would have been nice.

Do not go to this O'Reilly they were discourteous, unpleasant and only looked up from their phones long enough to tell me they didn't know how to use the machine.

So about a month ago I had contacted Auto Salvage for a used motor for my Acura MDX which I was…read moretold it only had 106,xxx miles on it. So I was like awesome let's go ahead and replace it. I had to take my truck back several times after they "fixed" the engine because of the check engine light still coming on. I found out it was the knock sensor and they told me that it had nothing to do with what they fixed. So now I'm becoming irritated because the light was never on before they touched my motor. So instead of complaining I took my vehicle to the Honda/Acura dealership for a full detailed inspection. Not only did these ppl not replace the gaskets but they used a sealant to glue all the parts together which doesn't allow the air to flow through the motor properly. As the dealership further inspected my vehicle they noticed that the miles written on the used engine were not the same miles that Auto Salvage had originally told me. The miles were written at 140,xxx when the engine was supposed to only have 106,xxx miles. Now they are refusing to fix the damage that they have caused. I'm not the type to file a law suit but that's exactly what I plan on doing after missing work and paying an extra $1,100 to fix their mess! I hope this review will stop people from spending money with these people! HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNPROFESSIONALISM TO ANYONE!!!

I found many for sale on-line, at out of state sites, but I thought I would try to stay local if possible. Contacted Absolute Auto Salvage, their web site showed they had the part but to call for a price. Called, was quoted a price of $50 but the guy (who wouldn't give his name) said I should stop by and he would go out in the yard and check that the part wasn't too rusty and was ok for sale. The next day put my van back together, drive over there and they tell me they don't have the part. Mentioned that the part was still on their web site and that I had been quoted a price the day before but it made no difference. "Don't have the part" (just like a record), he didn't even ask anyone else in the office if they had talked to me. I won't waste my time going there again.

He could have explained this had nothing to do with the charger just the one end of the wires. Instead he sold me the charger and offered to take it out of the package. I agreed. He then proceeded to destroy the packaging so I could not return it when I wised up. I will never shop there again!
