So I went back to AutoZone where I have shopped previously. The AutoZone rep looked up my part and even when I questioned if it was correct they said it was and showed my on the computer. So I purchased the part. 30 minutes into the work I then discovered it was indeed the wrong part. I've purchased these parts before at O'Reilly's and never had issues with them providing my with the correct parts. I've purchased parts for Mitsubishi, Honda Civic, Honda Pilot, Honda Del Sol and Acura TL Type S and find they are very helpful and have the part in stock 99% of the time. The reps are always very helpful. Although prices are competitive, I feel they are usually the best value and quality with a selection from "entry level, mid level and highest level" quality in selection (if available). What I like most is the staff is knowledgeable and offer help and advice as they are usually car enthusiast. I will add more pictures on my next visit.

I was in town to work on my son's car (looking at a starter issue). I brought my tools, and even a…read morenew starter. But during my troubleshooting, something wasn't adding up - it felt more "electrical" or "computer" based. I noticed the "service engine soon" light and decided I needed a code reader. Long story short, I tracked one down at NAPA and headed in to buy it. The gentleman helping me was pleasant, and listened to my theory - he agreed the code reader would help. Sara was behind the counter and was able to track it down in inventory. Fast forward to an hour later. I'm back in the store to return the code reader - I had figured out the problem without it. I feel bad returning stuff like this, but ultimately I'll want a better code reader tool, but I want to research that more. Sara was there to help me again, and took care of things just dandy. The other fellow that worked with me on my first visit was interested in hearing the resolution. Good folks here, and I appreciate them just being there for me. Hopefully there isn't a "next time", but if I need something, I know these NAPA folks will be there to assist me.

One of the things I value the most about a business is their honesty and not just completing a…read moreservice that isn't necessary. Long story short my windshield made friends with a rock resulting in what I thought was a significant chip. I scheduled a chip repair and arrived for my appointment. The service representative took my keys and went to inspect the glass. He arrived a few minutes later and told me that there was no need to worry as it was a just a surface ship which does not need repairing. He also took the time to educate me on when a chip needs to be repaired vs not. He saved me a significant sum of money and I also learned a thing or two along the way. I would highly recommend this Safelite.

Once at the store, there was also miscommunication about my order, and it felt like no one was on the same page. I'd still recommend Discount Tire for tires--they've always done a good job with installation and service (they were very efficient when it came to servicing my vehicle) But for specific wheels, I'd look elsewhere. In my experience, the online inventory was inaccurate, communication was disorganized among staff, and the initial process was more burdensome than necessary.

So yesterday afternoon, I started hearing a weird tire noise on my left front tire, but had no idea where to go (I'm newish to the area). Google search found me Discount Tires on Bluemound, close to me. No appt., I just walked in, and they got me right in. Explained my tires were nearing their 10 year lifespan (who knew? i didn't realize this was a thing), and the tread was starting to separate on my left front tire. Yikes. So I went ahead and sprung for 2 new front tires. I wasn't happy at all about this surprise expenditure, but it was better than a blowout at 60 mph on 94, thank you Jesus! Jumped back in the car, and before I was even out of the parking lot, that weird sound was STILL THERE! What the heck? ‍ Went back in, had them check again; it was actually my left REAR tire, which had a huge BOLT wedged into it (THANKS A LOT, Waukesha construction zones)! Why this wasn't seen earlier at DT, I don't know, but it is what it is. The hole was too large for a patch, so they gave me a 'gently used' closely matching tire. AT NO CHARGE. As a woman who knows little to nothing about vehicles, so is at the mercy of those who DO know about such things, I almost cried. THESE are the kind of places - and people - that we need more of because they are so desperately needed. People are tired of being scammed. The front of the DT shop was clean and tidy, the guys in the back of the shop were highly efficient (and even that part of the shop was very tidy as well). I never met Bruce Halle, DT's founder, but his amazing business model and values lives on in his employees! I know where I WILL be going when it's time to replace my 2 rear tires!
