Waited inside for 20 minutes before someone finally came in and asked how they could help me only to rudely be told that I need to move my car in the line and someone would help me. By this time, another car had come in for service so I had to wait behind them. Finally someone comes to give me a ticket, tells me I can go inside and it will be around 30 minutes. I go shop for 30 minutes, I know exactly how long I was in the "shopping" section of Walmart because I was on the phone. I come back with my purchases confident that they will be done soon, and sit in the waiting area. I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes before checking to see if my car was still being worked on, it was, so I sat back down. Again, I know the exact timeline because I documented on Instagram. Finally another 20 minutes pass (at this point I had been at the auto center for an hour and 40 minutes - no exaggeration because it's documented). I looked into the bay to see that my car was not there and then checked the parking lot where my car was sitting for who knows how long because they never bothered to tell me that it was ready. They did not announce it over the speaker, they didn't say anything to the multiple customers in the waiting room, they didn't call or text, they just absolutely did not bother to notify the owner of this vehicle (me) that the car was ready. Completely disrespectful of my time, the entire staff was rude and unprofessional (even for automotive standards), and obviously did not care to practice good customer service today. The kicker? Last night a lady answered my phone call and informed me it would likely take only 20 minutes! HA! I will NEVER visit this or any other Walmart Auto Center again. I also am not entirely sure they put oil in my car as my "change oil" light is STILL on several hours later. Biggest recommendation to the store on how to improve? Put a sign up for new customers so they know to stay in the lines! & work on your customer service skills, being knowledgeable about cars means nothing if you can't keep customers.

My car showed me I had low key battery on both key fobs and I tried calling a local specialist, but they hung up. I called Auto Zone on Northwest Hwy.-I had been there during the D'Allas-ka event in January when it was snowing here, and they were super helpful, so I thought I would go back. Lloyd answered! A live human! Helpful, courteous, come on in! Lloyd makes it feel like Grapevine is Mayberry R.F.D. or Virgin River! I showed up and told Ethan G. I had called for car key fob batteries and he immediately went to work on it. Not pointing me towards the aisle, literally getting the batteries, cutting the pack open and installing them in under 5 minutes. It's not his job. He could've sold them to me and I would have spent the next two hours doing it (not kidding!) Ethan G. made my day. When I was leaving, Lloyd was in the parking lot, assisting another customer with something on his car, and he waved goodbye to me. Again, beyond the call of his job description to go outside and help someone out with an issue, but he was going way above and beyond, and it seems like this is his default. I went in to exchange a spark plug socket I had purchased just two days earlier. The employee shown in the attached photo was rude from the moment I walked in. He refused to help me find the correct socket and treated me as if I were asking for a favor rather than a basic customer service request.
