If I could give zero stars I would. I made an appointment a week ago to have my fuel pump and rear brakes done. I made sure that if I dropped it off at 2pm they wouldn't have an issue completing my repairs and I was assured they'd have it done. I ended up dropping the car off at 1pm a full hour early and at 4pm they called asking what fuel pump needed to be replaced. When I told him I said don't yall close at 5 he said yes it's not looking good for today because I haven't ordered the parts yet and they half hour away. I was promised it would be finished first thing in the morning (they open at 8) I called this morning asking the status of my car and that again I had an appointment and hour away that I needed to get up and was told it not looking promising. Called back a bit later she said it's almost finished and to start my way there so we did. When I get there I'm told something is wrong with the calipers and they are trying to figure it out so, it's not ready yet. While at my appointment my husband and they said the car was done and they had been trying to get ahold me. He told them again she is at the hospital having tests done an hour away. After my appointment I went to pick my car up. I got a block away to a stop sign and my car was making a bad knocking sound, so I brought it back. After a half hour the manager came in and said he needed more time that the brakes are fine and I can drive it but there seems to be something wrong with the drive shaft and he'll need to look at it on Monday, two days from now. I told him to keep it seeing as how it's obviously not safe to drive. So for a 2-3 hour easy fix they will have had my car over at least 3 days before I get it back. read more

I've been bringing my vehicles to this location for over three years and the service had been good. There's been a recent change of leadership and now I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy. I've grown up in the automotive repair industry and I know someone is trying to give me a line of BS. I viewed that has been dishonest and liking it to the Automotive double they give automotive technicians the bad reputation they've have. I would give less stars if possible . Since Chris the manager that was there for years left it has gone down hill in 2023. From Gouging prices to not doing what was on my ticket. Some of the staff is nice but I have noticed a big drop in customer service as well. They don't even keep complementary water stocked anymore . I have been coming here for 5 years with all my vehicles and will never be back. Trying to explain my frustrations with them not putting my air box in correctly and they were rude . Went in for an oil change. I used to go to the location in Littleton, CO, which I was happy with, but recently moved to Weatherford and this Breaks Plus was the closest to me (almost an hour away). What do I get for my loyalty? They gave me a laundry list of recommended services totaling just shy of $2000. Since I take very good care of my car, I was understandably surprised at such a lofty price tag. A second opinion revealed that while a couple of the services could be done eventually, none of the work was needed or recommended. This is dishonest. Completely disappointed. AND, they didn't reset my "Maintenance" light so now it's blinking. Certainly not going to drive all that way to have them correct that mistake. read more

This business allows you to make appointments. No idea why. There is zero benefit to making an appointment. You show up and go in the que just like if you had walked in off the street. I made a 2:00 appointment for a simple alignment check and when I got there, I was told the earliest they could get me in would be 3:30 (and based on that, I would say 3:30 was optimistic). DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! Im a first time customer and took my wife's vehicle in for brakes. I was told by the GM Jeremy that I she would need brakes and rotors on the rear end which would be about $650 (just for the rear). I asked him if there was any way that the rotors could be turned and he said no that they were worn too bad. I asked him to just replace the brakes and that I would have to come back for the rotors a later date. They did and when I was driving home the brakes sounded like they were grinding so I called and they said if it is still doing it after a couple of days to bring it back. The next day it sounded even worse so I called and got some estimates and found a mobile service that was $140 cheaper for the rotors. Andrew from Brakes To You came out to make the repairs. Andrew said your rotors are totally fine, your brakes have been installed BACKWARDS!!! After further examination the inside of the rotors were damaged because as a result of the pads being on backwards. I went back to Brakes Plus and spoke with Jeremy and he agreed to replace the brakes and rotors at no additional charge. I asked why he told me that I needed new rotors when I clearly didn't and he avoided the question. Being a fist time customer and business owner myself I understand the value of each and every customer. After speaking with Andrew of Brakes To You I said what can I reasonable expect from them? He said I always want my customers happy so I would replace your brakes, your rotors and refunded you your money because I want you coming back! As a result he will gain a lifetime customer and Brakes Plus not only looses a first time customer but also my friends and family members. Brakes Plus, BREAKS PLUS more and calls it a "coincidence". After Brakes Plus worked on my car and was paid more than $1000 for the work, TWO additional parts broke within 3 HOURS AND my car had to be towed back to me. Chris, the General Manager called my battery AND my starter no longer working after Brakes Plus worked on my car a "COINCIDENCE". What Chris calls a "coincidence", caused myself a woman with a 5 year old to be stranded at Walgreens for 3 hours until a tow truck could come get us. What Chris calls a "coincidence" caused myself and my daughter to not be able to go to church, what we came 1300 MILES to do. My car has been on THREE tow trucks within TWO days. Chris had my car towed to him to first tell me it was my battery and then HOURS later, tell me it's my starter. THEN request I pay Brakes Plus MORE money for TWO things they caused. After talking to Chris over the course of HOURS, he then attempted to guilt trip me into having my car worked on there. He told me how they've already towed it there, I "didn't pay" for the tow AND it didn't "make sense" that I'd go to an entirely different shop. I explained to Chris that when I walked into Brakes Plus I didn't consider that I was a woman, a black woman at that, since my grandfather is a retired ASE certified technician, I'm comfortable in such settings YET I believe that somewhere along the way James the service manager may have considered me being a "black woman" in need when I needed the most help. James and I discussed cars and what car was next for me, and after stating the brand he said "oh, you know luxury" although I already drive a Cadillac. I thought nothing of our encounter that day, yet upon review I find that something was amiss. James has since said "I'm sorry" after offering for ME to replace BOTH my battery AND my starter, after they both stopped working after BRAKES PLUS worked on my car. Brakes Plus, BREAKS PLUS makes you pay for it, disappoints your 5 year old, stops you from going to church (which you came 1300 MILES to do, charges for 4 hours of labor although they only worked 2 AND doesn't take responsibility. I went in to get my daughters breaks and rotors replaced. I came to them because I was recommended to them because of their price point. I was not disappointed! Not that anyone if every happy to spend a few hundred dollars but...the team was so very helpful, they were Johnny on the spot,they explained everything that needed to be done. It was fast ,the car was left clean,no grease on things like our other mechanic. The store was clean it didn't smell like shop. They even gave her a list of other things that needed to be done and the time frame to do them in. I came in to repair both sides front and back for my brakes. BUT I came in talking about how it squeaks and squeals when I break and I just assumed it was the brakes. They talked to me about how my rotors wore a bit wavy and have to be flattened out and how my shocks were bad and had to be replaced soon and all of it together plus my brakes would be almost 3 grand. I politely declined and just got both of my breaks replaced just to get it out of the way. Came here after the dealer gave me a quote on brake replacement. Brakes Plus offered a better deal. While they stayed within the estimate for the job, it was double the time I was told to wait. Apparently, there were more cars lined up ahead of me. My kids missed lessons that afternoon since I was there for four hours as opposed to the couple of hours it would take. When I got home, a noticeable loud sound like metal clanging against each other could be heard coming from the front passenger side. A quick call and return to the shop, they fixed it. I'm a little unhappy that it took a good hour traveling back and forth in traffic for something that should have been done right the first time but they made it right. read more
