Instead, I was sold a used truck for around $25,000, but after financing I ended up paying about $28,000+ with a 5k down. I later found out the vehicle was worth far less than what I paid. It was a 2015 Toyota Tacoma. To make matters worse, the truck had hail damage, smoke odor, and other issues that were never properly explained to me. As a first-time buyer, I relied on the dealership's honesty, and I feel like they took advantage of my lack of experience. Today I'm still about $10,000 upside down on this loan because of how overpriced the vehicle was. This purchase has been a costly lesson, and I'm still dealing with the financial consequences years later. I hope this review encourages others to do extensive research, get an independent inspection, and compare market values before signing anything. I explained how sick we had been and was in need of the test and my boss would come buy the battery if it was bad. The lady said it would be too hard to get her clamps underneath the cover. She asked her store manager they said they couldn't help me. I drove across the street and it was no problem for the other store. It wasn't a big deal I just didn't know how and apparently neither does this Oreileys. Definitely needed the battery and the guy at the other shop showed me how simple it was and could have been tested at Oreileys. Disappointed in the lack of help I received.
