I made an 11AM appointment for tires and an oil change on a business pickup truck. I was told the service would take around an hour wait time. So, I scheduled the work and planned to take lunch while waiting on the truck. I confirmed with the gentleman that checked me in at just before 11AM that it would be about an hour and his exact reply was "Yes, about that". I gave him my cell phone and told him I was going to walk up the road. I walked a few blocks to a spot to eat and returned at noon to find that the truck had not moved since I parked it. The young lady said she would check on it and confirmed that I had an 11AM appointment and said they would get to it ASAP. I waited a couple of minutes and noticed that the truck still had not moved. I then asked for my key and left. I never received and apology or any other response, other than my truck was up front with the key in it. I am a small business owner, and like most people, I don't have time to be jerked around. I will happily pay more somewhere else to someone who values my business and time. read more

If your looking for a place that stands behind their work and treats you like a valued customer, look elsewhere. I had two tires replaced on 12/31. While in the shop my vehicle got two large scratches on the roof. I didn't notice them until later that night because when I picked it up I was checking out my new tires, not looking at the roof. I took the car back in the next morning to show them the damage. After 30 days of nagging the local guys to file an insurance claim and nagging their insurance to process the claim it was denied because, "we're not responsible for damage if you don't point it out to us before you leave the lot." This is possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. I gave them plenty of chances to make up for their accident because I understand accidents happen. I have never encountered people with such Horrific business ethics ever! I had previously bought tires from here and went with an upgrade because I knew my daughter will be driving this car soon. The tires were under warranty so when 2 treads were totally worn down to metal I called to get them replaced. I spoke to 2 different people to make sure the tires were going to be taken care of on them because of the warranty they agreed it would be taken care of. My husband brought the car in and when it was finished they said we owed them over $1,000.00. That unless we showed them documentation of tire rotation every 5,000 for 3 years we owed them the cost of the tires. Let me say we do rotate our tires at every oil change but seriously that is unreasonable and was never disclosed. Then to pull bait and switch when we arrive is disgusting and disrespectful. I absolutely refuse to give the Scam artist a lick of money I actually had them put my old tires back on and left to go to PepBoys to take care of me. Do Not Go to Firestone ever!!! read more

I've been coming to this location for at least ten years, and will recommend it to anyone who needs car repairs/maintenance. The rates are reasonable, especially using the Firestone card, they're polite and helpful, and I feel like everyone knows your name there. They've worked on a variety of cars for me, ranging from a Toyota to a Volvo to a Subaru, and have always done a great job. They've also been honest about repairs. I have had to get tires for two other vehicle prior to getting the ones today from Firestone. I chose them because they were running a so called special. $100 of set of 4 tires. The trouble is the hidden fees. It cost me $45 per tire for installation. I came in and reviewed my bill from Discount tires where I had to have all new tire sensors and some pricy tires with no discount and their instillation was a flat $20 per tire. Not all the nickel and diming I got at Firestone. At the end there was no discount of the $100. It ended up being more slightly more than what I would have gotten at Sam's or Discount tire for probably better tires. read more

It can be tough to find a place to park your car, so I drop it off Friday evening and it's ready Saturday. The guys couldn't be friendlier even when they are slammed pack. They lost my car key ... but turned out OK in the end ... We usually go to another Firestone repair shop close to my work but decided to give this location a try since it was tad closer to my house. After dropping off the car on a Saturday for routine oil change, we called to check on the status Monday morning since we didn't get a call back. We were then told that they had misplaced the keys and that the car had not been worked on. They asked us to bring a spare key. We were mildly irritated as we had hoped to get the car back Monday afternoon. They apologized for the mishap and offered to pay for the replacement key. In the end, they found the key and took care of the oil change as well as the tire rotation and state inspection at no charge. Although that was not necessary, I appreciate the gesture and their sincerity. Mistake was made but they owned up to it and did right by me. I would use their services again. read more

There's a pandemic going on and they still tried to rip me off. I went in for an oil change and state inspection. They call me back that my inner tie rod is loose (that's part of inspection) and also that I need 2 systems fixed and spark plugs. The total was over $700. If I said okay they would've pulled one over on me. I said "those last two aren't part of the inspection" to which they said they knew. I have done business with this Firestone for more than twenty years, but I won't be back. Over the last year, nearly all work I have had done required repeat trips back to have Firestone's mistakes or omissions corrected. I am currently waiting for them to fix a wheel cover that they reinstalled incorrectly when I bought new tires. They have been working on it for a half hour and are unable to remove one lug because it was put on too tight. Thank goodness I didn't need to change it on the side of the road. It is really disappointing when you come back with a problem that Firestone created, yet the manager (Wayne) acted irritated with me for bringing the problems back to them. Go somewhere that your job will be done correctly, the first time. I called at 3:30 PM to check on the progress and was told it was the next vehicle to be serviced. First of all, this is a very popular place, and they are generally friendly. They give away free services and things, like fixing my battery terminal for free because they were running late. But I think their popularity is becoming an issue. I had new tires put on my wife's car, and they installed them backwards (they are unidirectional). When I came back to get them fixed, I was given a huffy "I can't promise you a time" rather than an apology or any kind of expedited service. My other experience involved an 8 am appointment for new tires on another car, which wasn't complete until 4pm that day. So take appointment times lightly. If you have all day and don't mind the occasional huge mistake...this place is OK. read more

Somewhat disappointed with this experience: Initial call had the mgr Butch recommend their All Weather tire, which I could only find very bad reviews for on line. They also seem designed for a sedan. I already had identified my make, model & yr of my SUV. One strike. When I called later about Destination LE tires (which are more appropriate for my SUV) Barry, looking at Butch's previous quote, said they didn't have those. Pressed again he said he could get them but they'd be $129/each. Informed I was on the Firestone website which showed a $107/each cost he said he could "match that". Two strikes. When I took it in for the Destination LE tires & state inspection Wayne left a voicemail later that day. Calling back Michael informed me I needed rear brake pads. On a vehicle with only 45k miles on it. When challenged he admitted I did not need new pads to pass inspection. Telling me they were at 4/32" but only needed to be 2/32" to pass. 3 strikes. When I picked up my vehicle Butch tried to pressure me about the rear brake pads saying I'd need them in another 4-5k miles. "Probably when you bring it in for your 1st free rotation". There's an old saying about arguing with fools & liars so I didn't tell him I knew rear brakes almost never wear since they're only engaged when in park & in an emergency stop. In my experience (45+ yrs of driving) I've only replaced rear brakes on vehicles at or above 150k miles. 4 strikes Upon driving away the low tire pressure light on my dashboard lit up. I turned around & returned. The tire mechanic checked the pressure, all of which exceeded 35 lbs. Questioned why they over inflated the tires (recommended for my SUV is 30 front/29 rear) he said "because of the changes in the weather". Invoking the old 'fools & liars' advice I said nothing. As a tire mechanic he should understand, if not from the laws of physics, from experience that as the March weather warms into April weather tire pressure increases. I showed up ten minutes before close with a low tire pressure light that had just come on. I had a 30 min trip to the airport at 11 PM that night and was concerned about having a problem on the interstate at night. They were kind enough to look at my tire, though they were trying to close, found the problem, patched it, and had me out in about 15 minutes. They were so gracious, even though I was inconveniencing them, because they could tell how concerned I was. I cannot recommend this store highly enough. read more

Idiots! We've had lots of bad experiences with them and only continue to go back because they are conveniently open many hours. The last visit they were to replace the rear view mirror which had fallen off and replace freon. We dropped the car off around 3:30 on Thursday, were called to say it was ready 1:30 the next day and picked it up at 5:30. When we started the car, the mirror fell off. It was extremely hot. I figured that (extreme heat) was the problem initially and I know almost nothing about cars. So they glued it on without securing it and then moved it out in the sun. We had already paid, so they offered to slap it back on so we could take it with us (without the mirror in the device, that we could put on ourselves or bring back in to replace) or leave it overnight so they could take another whack at it. We'll see if the mirror stays on till we get home. (They've done other work for us that didn't last till we got home.) Back at 11 am to pick up and had to wait for them to put the mirror in the apparatus. (They have been open since 7:30; why didn't they do that before?) read more

I used to come to these guys for my car needs. I will say this if you don't know about car maintenence your going to pay a lot of $$$$$ here it's not cheap. I went in to do my inspection. I needed it done before the thanksgiving holiday weekend came. The guys told me it might be until 7pm before I got my car back it was 3pm when he told me. I told him I'd wait since I had nobody to pick me up. My car was ready by 415 their customer service is top notch. I will say the prices are insane but if you got do it. The customer service was good, they are great on the phone. This location obviously does not have enough staff, they appear to be bombarded with work, and either not enough parts, or not enough service workers to get to it all. I was expecting the work on my vehicle to take roughly 2-3 hours or so, and be on my way. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because I made an appointment (which I was late for, by about 15 minutes, I went to the wrong Firestone.) and thought that they would look at the car and let me know (within the hour like estimated) what needed to be done on my car, then start the appropriate work. They had one man in the office space as I came in, and about 4-5 working on cars in the garage. I waited about 10 minutes before being greeted, then I dropped my keys and waited. My husband made a good point about the number of cars in the lot, and got me thinking about how long it would actually take to get my car back. By the looks of it the entire day or longer. We went to another garage that my husband goes to, asked them about the work, and they estimated 2 hours for the brakes, oil change, and inspection. I gave Firestone the estimated hour, called to see where they were at with my car (hadn't touched it.), and told them I'd be there to pick it up. Went back to Express oil & Service behind the mall, and got in and out in the Estimated time that we had discussed. Also, they do not allow you to bring in your own oil and filter. read more

I've interacted with 3 or 4 of the guys there in the course of following up on the cars, and they were without exception friendly and helpful. When I went in to have a routine oil change and tire rotation, I was told I would have to have my front brakes and rotors replaced. When the store didn't have the right rotors for my car, the manager went out of his way to call every store in town until he found two stores that had one rotor each, and he had those stores deliver the rotors to this location. The crew working on my car also kept me informed at all times, showing me exactly what was wrong with my brake pads and taking the time to explain in detail the issues that needed fixing. While I've been to other auto care centers in the area, I will be bringing my car exclusively to Firestone from here on out. read more

This place is a joke. I wish I could give it zero stars. I took my truck in at noon on a Saturday to get an oil change and didn't think this was going to be such an ordeal. There was only one guy at the counter helping another customer, who didn't even acknowledge me at all when I walked in. After 20 minutes of waiting, I didn't get Hello or Be right with you. Finally I was attended to and he said they were backed up for the day but I could leave my truck overnight and it would be ready the next morning, which is fine. He mentioned he would call me the next morning when it was ready, so I thought this was going to be a smooth process. The next day, noon comes around and I have yet to hear anything. I call in and come to find out there are 3 cars ahead of me and my truck should be ready around 3-4pm, which I agree to again. 4:30pm comes around (keep in mind they close at 5pm) and I have yet to get a call, so I assume that they just forgot to call and I head in to pick up my truck. I get there around 450pm and noticed that my truck was still parked in the exact same spot I left it and looked like it hadn't moved. While I was waiting in line to be attended to (yes, there is a line 3 deep), I noticed a mechanic walking out to my truck and begins to start it. I walk out and ask him what he was doing, and he confirms that he is going to pull it into the garage to complete the work. At this point I am beyond words and just ask for my keys. He takes the keys to the front desk clerk who looks at me like I was crazy and hands them to me. No apology, nothing. Not only was the oil change not complete, but they planned on just keeping it overnight (again) without even a courtesy call. I get places can be busy, but this is ridiculous. A complete lack of customer service and proper management. Like I previously mentioned, I wish I could give this place zero stars. read more
