Came in on Easter Sunday because I was 100% sure my battery needed to be replaced, my car wouldn't turn on and I had to be jumped to get my care to Autozone. I bought the battery through Autozone last February so I still had the warranty. The girl who checked out battery said their meter read "Battery Charging". She stopped there and said I'm 100% sure it's your alternator, you'd have to take it out for us to help replace the parts. Obviously I didn't know how to take out my alternator, so we jumped my car, took it to the dealership because it's still under warranty and left it over night to get it checked his morning. I had to catch rides to get to where I needed to be, and I called the dealership this morning and was told it's my battery, the water was completely empty in it and wasn't charged at all. While I was in class my boyfriend went, got the car jumped and took it to a separate Autozone to get our replacement battery which they tried to squirm their way out of giving to us. Overall a waste of my time, staff is obviously incompetent with the basics of batteries. read more

My first visit and I received awesome service! Walked in and Jonathan immediately greeted me a hello and offered his assistance. Needed a set of three windshield wipers for Mom's car, preferably Rain-X, and was taken directly to the computer. I commented "Oh, you don't have the book?," and Jon said "We do, but the computer is so much faster." :) He quickly assessed the inventory and retrieved the wipers. Since the shop was out of the Rain-X brand for the rear wiper, I had to settle for a generic. What really impressed me was his offer to install the wipers right then and there! Too bad I wasn't driving Mom's car today, but I asked if the offer may be extended on a future visit, and he said yes. "Do I need a receipt (for proof-of-purchase)?" He shook his head. I was blown away! Cool prices (considering what I had paid for a complete set for my car, which matches my Mom's, except for the color) and terrific initial customer service. I hope that my next purchase here, ideally not anytime soon, will be as great an experience as tonight's was! read more

As a woman, I just expect to be treated poorly and taken advantage of the second I step into a store that has anything to do with cars. NO MORE. This Autozone is phenomenal. I was experiencing slow starts and when I went to get an oil change, they told me I had a bad battery. I did not believe them (upsell technique) so I went here. They helped me immediately, checked my battery, which was in fact bad, he showed me the reading, didn't try to sell me a super expensive battery but one mid range and replaced it for me...and here is the best part IN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES TOTAL. read more

I purchased a battery with a three year warranty at another location a year ago and it started giving me trouble and the car wouldn't start. I got a jump start and came to this location as it is the closest (15 minutes) location from my home. I explained that I have a battery warranty and after they looked up my purchase they went to check the battery. They saw that there was a small leak and immediately started replacing it for free. I called ahead to confirm they had 1/4 coolant hose. The store rep over the phone told me they had coolant hose from 1/8 to 3/4. So I drive over there, same guy over the phone takes me over to the hoses. All they have are fuel line hoses. Then he insisted that fuel line hose is rated a higher temperature than coolant hose. I googled the part number on the fuel hose on auto zone website and it says 200 degrees max. No way that will last with coolant going through it. I tell him the temperature limits on fuel hose and he gives me a weird look. So I said, I can't use this fuel line hose for coolant. So I buy a connector instead, and I get home and notice on my receipt this guy charged me twice for the same item. He was just really that dumb or he did it on purpose. Either way, not ever coming back to this store. read more

Great group of dudes - always happy to quickly diagnose issues, in my case a dying car battery. A quick lookup of my warranty info (from 2006 - I certainly didn't still have that receipt!) and I was good to go with the new one installed at a pro-rated cost for replacement. This location just lost a returning customer because of the lack of training they provide. I called and spoke to Shaun about needing a battery for my Cadillac CTS. Shaun looked up my particular vehicle and quoted me 3 prices with warranty information. I specifically asked Shaun if they would install the battery for me. Shaun informed they absolutely would and he would see me soon. I told him I was coming from Fountain Hills and didn't know how to install the battery myself. I got a jump for my car and drove to their location to only be told they COULD NOT install my battery due to Covid restrictions because it is in my trunk. I couldn't remember who I spoke to at the time and asked all the men in the store about the conversation over the phone. Shaun was present but didn't say a word. When I got home I looked on my notepad to see whose name I wrote down and it was Of course Shaun. I called the store back to tell them as I said I would. I spoke to Chris the manager who told me to call Josh the District Manager if I wanted something to be done about it. I will never go back to that location. They don't appear to be very honest or possibly not well trained. They also didn't seem to care! read more

This location is horrible. Worst Autozone I have ever been to. The level of disgusting filth is astonishing. The workers probably have not taken a shower in years. Thursday evening 8-16-17, my wife's VW Passat wouldn't start at her place of work in Scottsdale. I called around for a replacement battery and talked to Anthony who was very helpful and friendly. Great Customer Service and Professionalism. When my wife and I arrived, Anthony made sure the battery we needed was indeed the correct size and number for our vehicle. It was a very busy day for battery replacement because while we were there, there were 6 other cars getting batteries. Place was definitely busy. Glen also was very professional and courteous. It was late in the evening so there were only 2 employees working and there were several people in line, but they did a great job making sure each customer was taken care of in a timely manner.
