Now I'm going rounds with the DMV, so I don't legally own the car I paid $14,000 for!!!!! They knew I needed the car to transport my 94, and 88 year old grandparents? It has now been 10 months I have yet to receive my vehicle registration, tags, or title. Since I bought the car back in March 2024 there has been no contact or progress made by them. After 2 months of waiting I initially I went to the DMV where they told me the dealership had 3 months to complete my paperwork. After 4 months of waiting I went back to the DMV. At this time they told me I needed to file a complaint and open a case with DMV investigation. After doing so the DMV investigation had me sent a certified letter requesting my demands to which they didn't reply or comply. After going back and forth with the DMV for months now I have yet to make significant progress. I've had to repay fees, contact their surety bond, obtain a surety bond myself for the car I purchased and then submit, resubmit and resubmit paperwork 4 times to the DMV. Hopefully I get results and answers soon from them however they told me this process can take anywhere from another 3-12 months. Upon speaking with the DMV investigator they told me there were several open and closed cases against this dealership and I essentially got lucky. I guess these guys were purchasing cars from auctions, writing checks out knowing they didn't have the proper funds so checks were bouncing henceforth why they didn't have the title to many vehicles. Once the vehicles were sold issues like above occurred. Apparently some people had to return the vehicle to the original owners (which could be states away). Some got towed/repossessed as they had liens on them due to a bounced check. Meanwhile others have been reported stolen again due to the bounced check. And a few have had no rebuttals from the auction people/original owners. All in all they were doing very illegal stuff. But essential the DMV investigator said once the business is closed and paperwork isn't completed they can't do much but fine them for not complying. A slap on the wrist meanwhile the auction/original owners/people have every right to repo, report the vehicle as stole, request you return the car, or continue to put a lien on the vehicle. So I'm lucky because I still have my vehicle and it hasn't been reported stole (yet) nor is the auction/ original owner asking for its return. I really hope the DMV can sort things out soon as I'd like to keep my vehicle. But until then all I want to do is raise awareness as I'm sure others are also in the same boat. we bought a vehicle from here 3 weeks ago and we didn't even put 50 miles on it before the check engine light went on. It needs a new transmission and the dealership didn't disclose any problems with the vehicle. do yourself a favor and buy a truck somewhere else and pay a little more upfront so you aren't paying for it after. They also never answer their phones. Its heartless to sell vehicles knowing it will cost the customer more money after.
