These people here will get you in there with no consideration of your time your feelings whether you're animals sick or not they walk around like drones one of the girls went out to smoke and met some dude with the speakers bumping out of his car to make an exchange through the windows of some kind never go to this place if you have an emergency you're much better off going somewhere else these people don't care about animals or people 7 1/2 hours for an x-ray that's disgusting service that shows you that these people do not care one bit about animals or people like I say they walk around like they can't tell anything's going on half of them are so stoned they can't keep track.And yes there was one other dog in the building so they were very very very very busy unbelievable. I had a good experience. I went to go get my pups shots, they told me the wait was going to be around 2 hours due to emergencies. I was given the option to leave my puppy there and get called when he was ready. I kid you not it took about 30 mins! It was pretty quick. So frustrated with this place and glad I listened to my gut instinct. I took my female dog in for a pregnancy confirmation x-Ray.The rads showed the fluid sacs but no skeletal development so the doctor, without mentioning anything to me, did an ultrasound. When they called me back to review the x-rays and ultrasound the vet said that the entire litter was still born, no heart beats, and that my bitch was in the process of reabsorbing the puppies. I know my dogs, and I know when something is wrong and I had gotten no indications from her that there was an issue. I paid nearly $200 and went home confused and heart broken. I Donny care so much about the bill what angers me most is the emotional stress I was put through from this wrongful diagnosis as well as the danger it could have put my whole litter in had I believed the vet. If all the puppies were non-viable I would have reduced my bitch's food and nutrition intake since her body would not need it to develop the pups. Had I done that I very well could have ended up with dead puppies thank goodness I didn't. So following my instinct I purchased a home Doppler and low and behold there are heart beats!! Nice strong healthy heart beats. I sincerely hope my girl delivers them all safely so I don't have to worry about emergency C-sectioning. I'd rather not take her back to this vet if possible. They could have killed an entire litter of puppies. A quick reference to my Merck veterinary manual reassured me of the radiographs. I was just too early on it as the puppies skeletons are not developed enough for an x-ray until after 6 weeks, we were just heading into week 5 and their hearts are too tiny at that point to be pronounced enough for the ultrasound to show but the Doppler picked up the steady beats in well a heart beat, lol. Lesson to learn from this: these vets have no idea what they are doing and giving dangerous wrong information, also always follow your gut instinct. If something doesn't sound right coming from these people chances are it's not. So beyond glad I ignored the vet's assumption and kept on as if my girl's litter was just fine because thankfully it is.. read more

Took my 7 month old pit bull here because it was the only place open when he started whining with attempts to walk. Found he had a broken hind leg which needs an orthopedic surgery. Which I wanted an actual orthopedic surgeon to perform. They charged me to splint the leg and did not splint it. Only wrapped it with cast padding and coban wrap and charged me $165 for a plastic Splint and wrap. 2 days later when he saw his actual vet for follow up she cut the crappy wrap job off that wasn't done right and low and behold no splint under the wrap. His fractured leg was not stabilized. Oh and I forgot to add the vet that said we need to have the surgery and explained the procedure he'd perform (that we declined because he wasn't an orthopedic surgeon) doesn't perform surgery according to his staff and according to the California's licensing boards public information site is on probation for a botched surgery until 2019.... be very careful. He wanted $4600 for a surgery that a BOARD CERTIFIED ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON is charging $2500 for. This place should be shut down. They put my puppy at further risk of injury but not stabilizing that fracture because of their greed. read more

They just want your money, they do not care about animal's life here. I brought my dobie bc he is vomiting and diarrhea, he is Updated with vaccines, he is just 5 months old. The assistant said ohhh its parvo, but she said ohhh but the vet said its not parvo bc he has his shots, she said maybe he swallowed a toy or something else, but she said again ooh I think its parvo bc he just shit on the floor, you need to pay 120 dols for the parvo test, but if its not parvo you need to pay 607 for xray and blood tests to figure it out whats going. Like, really,?? if the vet said its not parvo, WHY did you make me pay for a parvo test????? No sense AT ALL. The Veterinarian NEVER CAME TO CHECK HIM, NEVER! they just put us in front of a computer to check or credit score to PAY THEM, but my husband's credit got low bc of some SCAMMERS on the past, the vet never checked him, never saw him, I never saw the veterinarian's face. They left my dog go home with nothing, but just with pain, bleeding from his butt, vomiting and diarrhea, not even a suggestion. Im going to take him tomorrow to Mexico to check him, you guys just think about MONEY$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!! I took my cat here because our vet couldn't get him in. He had started peeing on carpet out of nowhere and everything online pointed to infection or something worse so i took him in. First off, there were 2 girls up front and the older one wasn't very nice and had a rude tone in her voice like it was annoying that I was there. The younger one was nice and helped me. The 2 vet techs were wonderful and super nice and helpful. The vet came in and seemed rushed. He said the bloodwork looked good and nothing was wrong. I asked him what i should do if my cat kept peeing on the carpet. He said 'buy new carepet'. Seriously? For almost $400 visit you'd think that he'd be professional. I was so unimpressed, he was incredibly rude. On the follow up call the vet tech said that my cat in fact did have a high value and they want another blood draw in a month. What the heck? Why would the vet tell me everything was good? I don't trust this place now. The 3 nice girls are the only reason for 2 stars. I really honestly don't know if I'll go back here. Would definitely recommend this place! My cat was straining to urinate and in a lot of pain, I brought her in to AV Veterinary Center and she received great care. They did bloodwork, x-rays and checked her urine. She ended up having crystals in her bladder and was prescribed antibiotics, pain medication and a special food, she is doing much better now. The staff and doctors here are very caring, compassionate and skilled. There was a little bit of a wait but I understand this is an emergency hospital and they were helping other animals that were more critical than mine. If you want great quality care and customer service this is the place to go! read more

One night at around 10pm, our husky ran and slammed into a wooden fence in our backyard and had somehow gotten a 6 inch long, very large 'splinter' or 'spike' of wood in her front left leg. After realizing it was something we couldn't and shouldn't handle on our own, we packed her in the car and came straight here, as it's the only 24 hour animal hospital I know of. They checked us in right away. The receptionists weren't necessarily rude, but not the friendliest either. My dog was limping, panting incredibly hard, and literally shivering in pain, but neither of the receptionists even glanced at her. At this point, I know it's an emergency vet and it's our only option, so we just dealt with it and sat down to wait. We sat in the lobby for 30-40 minutes, and were then called to an exam room. When the Tech saw her leg, she was the first person to realize how much pain our dog was in. She asked the usual questions and took her pulse/temp. Then we proceeded to wait another 30-40 minutes for the vet. Dr. Sandhu came in, took a look at the wood sticking out of her leg, seemed genuinely concerned for her, and told us exactly what he was going to do. Sedate her, remove it, and close it up with staples. If he felt that it didn't come out in one piece, he would want to take some xrays to make sure nothing was left. Very straight forward, and just like that, he left the room. After maybe 15-20 more minutes, the Tech came back in and showed us the invoice. $700. I knew it would be expensive, seeing as this wasn't our regular vet, and it was a late night emergency. So thank God for credit cards and pet insurance. I went to pay, and was a little sad that they took her from my boyfriend before giving me a chance to say goodbye, but I hoped they were just trying to get her help as quickly as possible, now that they knew the extent of her pain and stress. After everything was said and done, she probably had that wood in her leg for at least an hour and a half before they even touched it, it may have been longer if they didn't operate right away. That night wasn't the best experience for us, seeing as we were upset and stressing over our dog. I do wish the process would have gone faster, but again, it's an emergency vet, and we didn't have an appointment. Since that night though, they have been nothing but good to us. We picked her up the next day and the morning receptionist was very pleasant. A Tech brought our furbaby out promptly. She gave us pain medication and antibiotics, showed us the giant piece of wood that was removed, and she explained all the aftercare wonderfully. Since then, we have been back to have her bandage removed and make sure the wound is healing nicely. It was a quick visit at no cost, and when the staples are removed, it will be no cost as well. Although it was a stressful experience, it was overall a good one. My dog was shivering and limping a few days ago, but now it's hard to keep her from running around and playing (so she can heal), so I am definitely appreciative of the AV Veterinary Center team! read more

I had a 4 month old Belgian Malinois who ate a dish towel, at the time I brought her in I was unaware she had eaten anything. I figured she had parvo due to the symptoms she was displaying, after a negative parvo test the staff was quick to determine she had swallowed something big and it was blocking her. After a barium study, my girl had to have exploratory surgery. The surgery was successful, and she made a full recovery. My girl was in bad shape when she came in, and I am so grateful that Dr.Sandhu saved her. I have been to other offices, and none compare to Sandhu's! Brought my pet here after taking them to Missions Vet in Palmdale (they didn't do anything!). They were able to stabilize my puppies seizures, we had no idea what was wrong with him and were very worried. This hospital was able to pin point and give us great recommendations to what to do next. Unfortunately my puppy has a liver shunt and needed more tests and medications. But he was able to survive the series of seizures because of this vet hospital. If your pet needs anything ASAP and for emergencies they will do their best to help. I hope we won't need to come again and that our puppy recovers but if needed this will be our go to place. Could be costly but definitely saved our little guy. read more

It's so nice to have 24 hour care in the AV. They have saved one of our dogs and helped many other issues our dogs have had. We appreciate the fact that this is the only place in the AV that is open 24 hours a day. I must say that I appreciate Dr Sandhu for his love of animals and his expertise as a VET. His trained Veterinary staff have had a gentle touch with pets and when there was an issue, they resolved it. Also, Dr Sandhu went out of his way to help my dog. There isn't a blood bank for dogs, yet my dog needed a blood transfusion. One of his staff's dog donated blood for my dog. It's what saved his life. I want to leave a 5 star review bc no one is perfect, meaning sometimes you may feel that a staff member is rude, or the wait time is long or the bill is too high.. but Dr Sandhu spends a lot of nights, all night long as the Attending Veterinarian. I know first hand that those hours are hard to keep. Yet instead of him closing his overnight, he staffs it himself. Dr Sosa also is very nice. She spent several minutes talking to me over the phone regarding my dog. I find her sincerity and professionalism to be another great asset at AV Veterinary Center. Thank you all again for working nights, weekends, and holidays. The dog who was saved by Dr Sandhu at AV Veterinary Center was admitted on a federal holiday. When I read hospital in a name, I assume they are open 24 hour. AV Veterinary Center is the only Vet out here who will always be available for your pet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, rain or shine! Great staff, great place. A little expensive, but they are open 24 hours so it is understandable. I highly recommend AV Veterinary Center. Celine did very well with my dog, she knew that my dog was kennel aggressive and took her time with her. There is a young lady who has several shepherds who talked with me about my dog and her possible issues, but I do not recall her name. Nicole is super friendly. Adrianna is my girl, she always takes care of my baby and even helped me get another one while my dog was there. You will not be disappointed. read more

Thank God for this place!!! They saved my dog from a botched procedure at another vet. The previous Vet was not attentive and allowed my dog to bleed out 3/4 of his blood, sent him home and the next day he was in shock. We brought him here and he is coming home safe!! He could have died.. but thanks to this Animal ER, he was seen on Labor Day and cared for by the team 24 hours a day for 2 days... wow... some of the staff stay up all night, work holidays and sacrifice for pets who would otherwise not make it. So that's why I give this place five stars. They work hard and they deserve it!!! read more

Long wait times. And expensive. Third vet I've been to and seemed to be the worst. Wasn't left feeling confident or impressed. My cat needed stitches and it took several hours from admittance to picking him up. It looked like a sh*tty job too. The way they trimmed the surrounding hair looked awful. Didn't even clean up the blood. Stitches looked not so great and lumpy. And they didn't even bandage it or provide anything to prevent him from scratching the area. Was told to put a baby shirt on him..? Have you ever tried to put a shirt on a cat? YeaBut I'm sure they don't care if he rips his stitches out. More money, right? Place feels like they care more about profit than my cat. And I know the owner is going to respond with that generic response they gave the others but in advance, I'm not reading because it won't be helpful. Should have just went anywhere else. Get it together and stop blaming COVID. Edit: I also want to mention that I only noticed one open wound on my cat's neck before taking him in. Then they tried to tell me there were three big holes. I do not take their word for it and the stitches take up a much long area than the original wound observed. I wish I could have some sort of proof. read more

This place is the worst. Woke up sunday morning to our family cat not moving. We instantly pick her up and took her to the closet emergency vet that i could think of. Little did we know that this vet is a joke. They wouldnt even start treatment until we paid them $700 just to try and diagnose her. We tried to talk to the very rude young girl about the payment options and she was of no help basically told us we had two option pay that amount or put the cat down. She then proceeded to tell us our cat was in the back suffering and we need to make a decision and there is no other option because they are a emergency client the prices will be more then going to our normal vet. I got upset witch i have ever right to and ask for the manager the vet came out look at me and my husband by the way am crying my eyes out and said give them the cat back and they can leave. I could not belive it. He would have let my cat die then try and help us with the payment. I never said a bad word i got a little loud with her . i can't belive that these people can play with anmails lives. There is no amount of money i would evrr pay those people. The vet tech handed our cat to my husband and said now have a nice day like it was no big deal. Unbelievable. Do not take your pets here. read more

Waited three hours for a refill on a prescription. I'm still currently waiting. A woman rolls up with her dog over a spider bite and is in and out in 30 min. The staff knew her. I called the front desk to see why she was seen before me. I was told they were just bringing her back. Here I am sitting with my dog that can't walk. They take her dog back and she got to go home. The worker was hugging her dog and petting it like it was her dog . How about you cut your conversation short and help the other people that have been sitting in this parking lot with me. While normally I don't do this, I feel that this needs to be done. I took my dog in with a possible broken leg, hoping to get help. The staff was good to me and my family while we we're there. However, we ended up leaving without anything more then a painkiller for a puppy that's less then a year old. I don't know if it's just a sprain, or something that could be far worse. But in order to get the answers, as well as the possible help needed, I would have had to pay up front for the full amount, which was 300 dollars. And that's not including any additional medical or treatments needed. If I had a good paying job and could afford it, that in itself would not have been a problem. However, my family and I live check to check, just trying to get buy. And while a "credit" option is available, I know that none of our credit is good enough to get approved. So just in the fact that we had 60 dollars to our name, the only thing we we're left with was a pain killer shot at the flat rate of 60 dollars, and that would only be good for 8 hours. Further more, after we had agreed for the shot, it took a further 30 minutes or more for the animal to get the pain medication it needed. If the clinic had been busy, I would understand. However, this was between the hours of midnight and 2 am. During that time, we we're the only waiting patients, and yes, there was a shift change when we arrived, which is understandable that things would take time. But that was when we first arrived. It was only until we we're leaving that another group of people came in. It's nice to know that a clinic that is supposed to help care more about money up front, rather then helping a suffering animal. read more

Dr. Sandhu is amazing... as a matter of fact, I just refer to him now as " Dr. Amazing "... This is my 18 year old dog, Annabelle, who had a hemangiopericytoma on her ankle that her doggie dermatologist who collaborates with many skilled surgeons, advised to NOT remove... as the consensus was, because of her age and unless it was bothering her (which it seemed to not be, remarkably)... to just leave it. It had been growing very slowly for two years, had tested benign.. and Dr. Sandhu, who I additionally had consulted with previously, had previously shared this consensus too. One night, however, it burst open, which I found out later was on Dr. Sandhu's birthday, and as it was causing a systemic infection alongside a high fever... and as there was no way to close it... at this time, it had to be removed. My former husband had been in the veterinary industry for over 16 years and I knew many veterinarians alongside the thought process's behind this sort of situation. All of them, likely, would have not wanted the responsibility of removing this large mass.. Upon arrival, Dr. Sandhu was immediately notified of Annabelle's condition. It was just after midnight. I had brought her into his facility in Newhall (All Creatures).  There she was stabilized throughout the night with fluids and antibiotics whilst a plan was put into place by Dr. Sandhu for an optimal outcome. This was going to be a VERY complex soft tissue surgery --  no matter what age she was... Following stabilization at All Creatures, she was transferred that morning to AV Veterinary Center, Dr. Sandhu's location where there was also a HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Treatment) that would assist the healing of this wound and also help Annabelle handle the anesthesia better. Because this mass was so large (about 4" in diameter), it was thought that there wouldn't be enough tissue left to close the wound and thus it would have to heal from the inside out; requiring much more time to heal with risk of infection. Dr. Sandhu did this surgery on his day off - his birthday - and these are the results. I can tell you from experience that most surgeons would have just de- bulked this mass, under these circumstances..... but Dr. Sandhu's keen and seasoned surgical abilities and  steadfast competence put this surgery at "Perfection level". Annabelle was also up, walking, and wanting food, 2 hours after the surgery! Yes, Annabelle was a strong girl... but this surgery along with 2 other emergency surgeries Dr. Sandhu performed, saving my other two dog's lives, would have not gone this direction if  -- "He had not been involved". We owe a great deal of gratitude to this man. read more

I had previously used AV Veterinary Center for a cat that was suddenly paralyzed in the middle of the night. She had thrown a blood clot. I did refused the expensive laboratory work and had Lily euthanized. The staff and veterinarian were professional, friendly, compassionate and caring. Last month my Australian shepherd wouldn't get up off the floor, again in the middle of the night. I took her to AV Veterinary Center. They said she had liver failure. Again I refused the expensive blood work and had Coco euthanized. Once again the staff and veterinarian were professional, friendly, compassionate and caring. This time I was very impressed with AV Veterinary Center. My remaining dog, a mastiff rottweiler mix, was depressed due to the loss of her companion. I adopted a labrador retriever mix puppy from the Animal Shelter and brought him to AV Veterinary Center for a wellness check. I was so impressed with the service and staff that I decided to bring Apollo back for all his vaccinations and flea treatments. Yes, they may be a little expensive, but they are an emergency veterinary center and it seems like my pets get sick in the middle of the night. I may not be able to afford all the testing and blood work, but I am ALWAYS treated with respect. Their services, staff and veterinarians are top notch and I'm glad they're in my community. read more

The doctors and veterinary technicians are excellent. My reason for the 3 stars is because there is one receptionist/front desk staff member that is very problematic and quite often rude (I am unsure of her name. This is NOT Katie or Lindsay as I have had great experiences with them and they seem to be the only receptionists that give 100% great customer service). This receptionist in particular typically tends to talk AT you (instead of talking to you like a human being) and is very argumentative, all while being pretty passive aggressive in her approach with customers. She also typically tends to talk down to the other receptionists as well, and it just creates this awful, unfriendly environment when she is working. I wish a wonderful facility such as this would see that their front desk employees answering the phones and greeting customers give the first impression, and it's sad to see that one employee can really ruin the experience and professionalism of the entire office. I will continue to bring my dogs here because as I mentioned above, the doctors and the rest of the staff are amazing. Just wish everyone here cared as much as the doctors do. read more

Cannot comment yet on quality of care they provide as our dog has not actually been taken to surgery yet. Our little Zoey was attacked by a German Shepard while my mom walked her this morning. We arrived to AV veterinary center at 10 am, were there for 2-2.5 hours total. Granted they did take both dogs back quickly. We were able to take one dog home as he was not seriously injured but zoey would need to have stitches and she possibly has a collapsed lung. We were told they would call when she was taken to surgery and she was next to go into surgery. We were also told that if she was just getting stitches she would be able to go home today after recovering from Anesthesia if she was stable. After not hearing a peep from them my mother called at 230pm and was told she was next in line for surgery, still no call from them by 5pm and when called we are told they will take her in 30 minutes. Being that my mom is an emotional wreck at the moment waiting all day to hear if Zoey has a collapsed lung or not, I called back to see what the hold up was. Granted when we left her around 1230 we were told she was stable. Calling at 5pm I am told they had to stabilize her before surgery. When asked what was unstable and why they hadn't called to tell us she was unstable, was told her vital signs were stable but she was breathing fast. So Zoey may have a collapsed lung and now is breathing fast, you don't call us to update us and wait all day to take her to surgery. How does that makes any sense? Then I was told I was being difficult because I was trying to understand the logic with waiting to take her to surgery all day and not updating us on her condition. Would not have taken her to this vet except for the fact that it is a Sunday and our vet is closed. Seriously considered just going and picking up Zoey and taking her to our vet first thing in the morning. But would never want to jeopardize her like they may have done, waiting all day to take her to surgery if she does have a collapsed lung. Would have given negative stars if I could just for the waiting all day and the conversation with the lead who informed me I was being difficult by asking for an update and explanation for the waiting all day to take her to surgery. There also seems to be a disconnect between shifts. Night shift didn't seem to know what day shift did or said. Day shift vet was very pleasant and informative, insured us Zoey was stable. Night lead says they have to stabilize her but also said she is stable aside form she is breathing fast. Truly feel like this could have been avoided with better customer service and better communication on their part. If when called they simply said they had more emergent cases that came before Zoey and they were getting to her ASAP. Or they called and updated us on her and informed that there was a change in her condition and the vet needed to stabilize her before surgery. Either incident would have been better than what we got. Not to say she is the next to go to surgery at 1230 with no call and still no surgery by 5pm. Let's just hope they practice is better than their customer service, from some of their reviews I'm not optimistic read more

Brought my 1 1/2 year old dog in at 1030 pm on Christmas Eve. She fractured her elbow joint. They suggested we leave her over night to to do surgery. They quoted me $4400! I asked for an alternative treatment and the receptionist told me to "put her down" I was not going to put down a healthy dog! No way! They are over priced. Receptionist told me the doctor there is the only certified orthopedic animal doctor in town. I googled him and nothing showed he was a specialist. I took my dog home at 230 am and waited till the day after Christmas to take to my vet! It saved me $ 2600 I will not come here again unless it was a life threatening emergency!!! Yes, this place did help my pet which is the reason i gave the 2nd star. Now this place does provide emergency services when all other places are closed. This is the reason they charge so much. Doctor here did his job. What bothered me was the lack of compassion or even a speck of empathy from the front office staff. so plain, void of emotion and almost rude. You would imagine people who work with animals do it because of their genuine love for animals. The least they can do is be kind to owners during a tough time. read more

Please go somewhere else this doctor needs his license revoked! He not only took out my dog spleen that was unnecessary but gave my dog back at a blood count of 10% which is critical!! Thankfully I took my dog to av animal hospital and they referred me to a specialist in la. Unfortunately, she did not make it. The vets that saw her after could not understand why the vet at AV Animal ER and Critical Care made the unnecessary surgery. So not only did my dog suffer from being sick but also from a surgery that made no sense. The only reason I have 1 star is because Dr. Sandhu was polite and honest along with his vet tech. The front desk lady was the least most compassionate person working in veterinary medicine I've ever seen. Rude facial expressions and crappy attitude. Thy quoted me a ridiculous price for a simple surgery. 1800 for a suture job! Nuts! I understand they're an overnight emergency clinic but if you care for animals and want to see them better you don't make your price to the point where to middle class working citizen cannot afford them. Got a quote from the regular vet and 500 bucks was the high end quote. Crazy. I'll NEVER go to this place again. I recommend nobody else does either. read more

I have been to this veterinary center several times unfortunately due to my dogs constantly getting hurt or in trouble. I would have to say that each and every time even though it was costly, we have never had a bad experience. One person I would like to thank is Jessica Razzberry, she is an FB friend of mine and she has come to get to know all my dogs because I am constantly posting about them online. Jessica always makes sure that my pups are taken care of and I appreciate all her help in making sure my dogs are okay. This last visit was rather costly and I thank her very much for getting us a discount, our bill was initially $1271 and she got it down to $1000, it still hurts our pockets but hey any kind of discount we can get helps. Hopefully, we won't be coming for yet another emergency vet visit but even if we do, I know that as long as Jessica is working I won't stress so much about my fur babies, they literally are my world and would do anything for them. read more

Prices here are higher than at other places. The staff is kind and courteous. We had taken our 12 year old dog, Lady to her vet at High Desert Animal Care. She had blood tests done and her numbers were not very bad. She had some fluid in her stomach and an infection. They prescribed antibiotics and a liver supplement. Her doctor told me to take her back to him if she got worse. Well, she did get sicker but on a Sunday when her vet was closed. She had trouble breathing because she got more fluid in her belly. Now, I know that it was most likely due to the antibiotics working and creating suppuration. All I went to AV Vet Center for was to see if they could help her breath better (by draining her a bit), so she could go to her vet as he had all her tests and knew more about her. I feel that the vet took a little advantage of my wife's vulnerability and kept leaning towards putting our Lady to sleep. This was after we turned down two estimates, one for $2000 and the second for $1700. I did not see this when I was there, but until it was already too late. Be careful with doctors and vets, as they know how to use psychology to make you feel that you are making the decisions. They know what to say and how to say it. Every time she offered solutions to keep her alive her voice was in a negative tone, and she would frown. When she talked about our dog been put to sleep she was positive and sounded more calmed and soothing. When I called Lady's vet to give him the news, the first thing he asked was "Why did you do that?" I knew then that it was not really our dog's time to go. Her vet is very kind and he even waves his fee for me every now and then. He is not in it for the money. So, I know he is honest. He tried to make me feel good about what I did, as Lady was old and suffering at the time. The problem is that my daughters are very depressed as they could not say good bye. I feel like I failed both my beloved, family dog and my girls. RIP Lady, and sorry we let you down. We should have been more patient and give you a better chance to live another spring and summer. read more

Took in my dog for an emergency surgery, they waited over 24hrs to operate & charged me over $2,900. They sent us home without pain meds & antibiotics because we arrived to an unknown charge of $900 when we went to pick our dog up. When we tried to speak to the doctor, he and a nurse VERBALLY ABUSED US! They told us we were ridiculous for thinking we were over charged & told us the surgery was 'much worse' than what the nurse told us when we spoke with her during the operation. I will NEVER come back to this hospital! They're very unprofessional, unsympathetic & they only care about money! I needed a foxtail removed from my dogs ear. I called and was quoted $50 for the removal and POSSIBLY an additional $65-85 if sedation was required! After arriving and waiting almost a full hour, the doctor was unable to see anything in his examination so he quoted me $220 for the sedation and removal! That's double what I was quoted over the phone! It was all just a bait and switch plan! I was absolutely furious and walked out! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!
