Came in for 1 Cartledge (not sure about spelling) for myself and 2 regular ear piercings for a friend , 3 smallest Swarovski stones (highly recommended ) and 2 cleaning sprays, 1 1/2 later and $250 (YES 250 DOLARS), I left feeling ripped off. I understand it's downtown Temecula and with covid, small businesses are trying to make some dough....but geez crazy expensive...just call it covid tax. Yes, I could have asked for price first but the money it's the thing....just wanted to share my experience. The gal who pierced was way long winded (I think Ava) and had to go into depth about each step of the process with a full piercing 101 class. But I already have 6 piercings....lol I know already. I'm about a month late on this review, but I came across Ava Piercing Company thru a desperate google search. I had a tragus piece of jewelry that was STUCK and needed out for an MRI. I had to cancel the MRI but tried to find someone that same day to see if they could remove the jewelry in case I was able to reschedule the same day. I called numerous piercing shops before calling this company. Their piercer was either not in, they were booked, or they didn't answer at all. The girl who answered (who happened to be Trinity) was very polite and was able to squeeze me in that same day. When I arrived, she went over some of the jewelry that is safe for MRI's and then took me to the back to remove my stuck jewelry. It was cross threaded and REALLY stuck but she managed to remove the old jewelry and insert my new one. No pain whatsoever. She was very polite and knowledgeable and a pleasant person to talk to. When I was on vacation in Temecula I accidentally knocked my ear around and really irritated a healing piercing. AVA got me in for a check up, even though they didn't pierce me. Manny checked out my piercing, cleaned it up, and assured me it was ok. I loved the clean and professional vibe of the shop and their amazing jewelry selection, so I came back the next day to take a look at some pieces. I fell in love with a few, and Manny was able to pierce my conch and install a gorgeous pink sapphire. I heard that the conch was supposed to be the most painful ear piercing, but of the 14 piercings I have, it was the easiest! It has also been the least painful and irritated while healing. Manny is so smooth and good at his job...his art! I felt fully safe and taken care of the whole time, with Manny explaining each step to me and helping settle my nerves. Definitely the BEST piercing experience I have ever had! I have had 'hit and miss' experiences with my nose piercing. I don't like to install (switch out) my own jewelry - even though I've had it for over 2 years. It's just easier going to a professional. However, the technicians I've found in the past are not dependable or professional (for various reasons). Then, my most-recent ring was just all wrong. It was too long and poking the inside of my nostril. And, the jewel feel off. So, I had no choice but to replace it. I called the last person I used. The phone was disconnected (UGH). So, I drove from Murrieta to Temecula to see if she would fit me in. About that...., she was too busy chatting with her friend and couldn't find it in her schedule to do so, and she wouldn't offer any other time on the same day (to do a 5-minute or less install). So, I went on another search. And, I am SO relieved I did. This place is it for me. They are the best! The facility is as clean as a medical office. The jewelry is professionally displayed, and the customer service was top notch! I reached out to Trinity by Yelp. She replied within less than 30 minutes. She was kind enough to fit me in the same day. In terms of the jewelry.... OMG!!! This is the best ring I have ever had!!! No more posts sticking me in my nostril. No more 'carefully' washing my face or cleaning my nose. Of course, I'll still pay attention, but I don't have to pay as 'much attention'. This place carried the type of rings that don't hang down on the inside. AND.... going forward, only the top half of the ring (the stone) needs to be replaced. The post never has to be removed. I got double helix piercings and two of my lobe piercings re-opened today, and I'm so glad I've found this shop! Both Trinity and Ariella were so nice and considerate, they made the whole experience amazing. Even the guy at the front desk (I didn't catch his name) was extremely nice and gave me plenty of water on such a hot day! I have a lot of anxiety about new places, and Ariella communicated with me over email about everything which meant so much to me. I had a smaller budget than I'd prefer this time and Trinity quickly accepted and showed me some beautiful affordable earrings to have while the piercings heal. I came here about a month ago for a 2 2nd love piercings and a helix. The staff was really friendly, the environment was very clean, and they have a really large high quality jewelry collection. The piercings were sterile, fast and very painless too. My piercings are also healing well and I use the saline spray 2-3x a day. The only problem I have is once I got home I realized my lobe piercings were completely crooked, one was way lower than the other ear. This is extremely frustrating since I paid $250 for the piercings and jewelry all together and this piercing is permanent. I'm hoping to switch it out for a small hoop once it's healed so it isn't noticeable. Great experience but unfortunate placement :( read more

Extremely weird interaction with a woman with reddish, wavy hair today. Spoke to a man on the phone at Ava to ask if I needed an appointment just to buy jewelry, he responded saying that there was no appointment necessary to come in and shop for body jewelry. I get to the shop and the doors are locked, so the woman comes to the door and unlocks it and says "Hi. What time is your appointment?", To which I respond that I spoke to a man on the phone who said I didn't need an appointment just to look at body jewelry, to which she responds, start "oh... OK then." in an annoyed tone? So I say, is now not a good time to shop?? To which she then responds, "Welp, you're already here." I had absolutely no capacity to deal w the weird energy she was giving so I just said yeah I'm good and walked off, and for whatever reason she looked shocked that I didn't want to shop there anymore. The pretentious energy from this woman was like "YOU'RE lucky to shop here".. yikes. I was looking to spend a pretty penny on some nice jewelry but I'll take my $ elsewhere. read more

I came to Ava to get a second look at how my helix was healing, because it had been irritated for a few weeks. I got my helix pierced on my right ear and my conch on my left ear at a different location. I told myself it was because myold  piercer was moving locations, and it would be better to find a new piercer anyway, but really I had been seeing some red flags for a bit. Turns out, the jewelry I was pierced with was questionable quality (which was causing my helix to be irrtated and get a bump), and my conch was pierced at an angle that ultimately wouldn't heal. Trinity was so upfront and informative, and while I was upset about having to remove my conch piercing, I'm pretty sure she saved my helix!! She was super understanding and wasn't shame-y about things I didn't know (like how it was ill advised to have 2 piercings healing on opposite ears ). She was also very accommodating about being able to do digital checkups since I live pretty far out. A switch to higher quality jewelry, a few checkups, and a down size later, and my helix is doing so much better! I'm going back this weekend to get my daith pierced! I highly recommend Ava (and Trinity, she's  AMAZING). If you dont choose here, PLEASE be sure to do your research and at least find yourself an APP Member!! read more

Uh honestly I was supper pleased when I first walked in the guy in the front was nice. Cool vibes then the girl came out and everything I said she had a higher opinion I told her I got my nipples done once before and she bashed my old piercings so hard! I loved them!! She was very adamant in her ways I felt like I was pissing her off the whole time! I told her I was scared cause I had a kinda bad recovery last time and she goes "you can walk out if you really don't trust me to do it" It's fine rude people come and go. Anyway i wanted straight nipple piercings she stated her opinion and convinced me to go them slightly slanted due to scar tissue and what not. Okay (I regret it now!). One of my nipples came out perfect just a tiny bit slanted right under the nipple, practically almost where it use to be the other on the other hand is slightly below my nipple hole you can feel the bar going through from under my nipple!! It kinda hurts too to be honest I don't know I wouldn't go back to her I kinda want to take this one out and redo it in a few months! That would be 3 in one area though! I might wait it out you cant tell if you look at it quickly but I live with it and I literally look at my boobs all the time. It's kinda sad she fucked it up after all her talk about herself, maybe humble yourself and you'll do your job better. read more

I just wanted to say that my experience at ava piercing studio was so great. I was specifically looking for an app piercer and was happy to find trinity. Herself and the receptionist were both really welcoming and nice and made my overall experience really enjoyable. I was getting my nipples repierced and was really nervous because the first time I did it was not a pleasant experience. Trinity talked me through every step and took her time to go into detail on the whole procedure. It was very clear that she knew what she was doing. I saw a couple of negative reviews on here harping on the price point but if you want quality work and use of quality implant grade material that will most likely be in your body forever then yes its worth it to pay.
