Don't do it! There are far superior dealerships that will match their "Great Deal". Trust me, all the hype ..all the crap....your salesman won't be there in 3 months. I purchased a Ultra classic from them. Struggled with the company for 3 years trying to get them to make by bike run correctly. The former manager lied to me about assuring me they would stand behind thier motorcycle. When they attempted to bandage the problem Harley in Milwaukee stated it was no longer thier responsibility due to Avalanches work. After 3 years the service Manager said they would no longer try to fix it and that I should just purchase a new bike. Filled with frustration, I met with them to trade in my piece of crap for a new one. Avalanche sales manager did nothing but patronize me and try to rip me off. When I called him on it he became angry. I left and purchased a harley from Grand Junction Harley. They have been through over 500 employees since taking over....don't get sucked in! read more

The girls in clothing and im sorry i dont remember any of there names but the girl who went to lakewood hs. She is a sweetheart and was very kind and made me feel like i was talking to a long time friend.i thank u all for your patience and kindness everyone carried themselves with a strong sense of pride. After our service experience Avalanche HD has completely lost our business. Service advisor was unprofessional, and had a lack of serious customer satisfaction. We were the first customers into the shop to get a simple tire change and suspension adjustment and WAITED for over 3 hours. 7 OTHER bikes entered AFTER us, and left BEFORE us...not impressed at all! This was my first time going to a dealership to buy a bike. My review is based on my experiences with the finance / accounting department. I have / had no issues with anyone in sales, I actually found they were all very nice and helpful. I bought a new 2015 Sportster here in Nov '15. 3 Weeks later I was hit by a car that ran a stop sign and the bike was totaled. I had GAP insurance so after filing my claim with my insurance company, I filed my GAP claim. My insurance had paid out on the bike by February 1st. GAP insurance finished their claim and to my surprise was not paying $3,298 worth of warranties. The dealership was supposed to have paid those back to the lender. I was not aware of this until GAP had sent me a letter but I was surprised the dealership had not taken any action as they were aware my bike was totaled and I was planning to buy a new one once everything was settled. After a ridiculous number of calls, emails (all ignored) and even multiple trips in person, the dealership wrote checks totaling $2,043, leaving me paying $955 worth of warranties on a totaled bike. I had already purchased the same bike through them because the sales team was so great, but had I known this was going to end up this way I would have just bought my bike elsewhere. read more

Run from this Dealer's salespeople and management,their word means nothing. I found a used motorcycle on their website spoke to their online sales specialist Jeffery.The used Harley I wanted they refused to take a hold deposit from me,but Jeffery assured me the bike would be there when I arrived in Golden 300 miles into my trip to buy said bike they sold it to another customer out from under me after I verbally committed to buy the motorcycle. The General sales manager Matt said I was a fool for believing one of his salespeople's word that I was safe to drive 600 miles too complete purchase of motorcycle.matt said you should never trust his dealership unless you have it in writing (his words not mine). Bottom line if a salesperson at avalanche Harley promises something get it in writing they lie. I have purchased two new bikes from Avalanche, my first bike was a sportster 883 and the second was an Electra Glide. The first time I went in as a rookie looking for a used sportster. Throughout the process they promised me that they could get me into a new one for the same price as a used one. They pitched the freedom promise which gets you the MSRP trade in when you upgrade within a year. The problem with this is that they pitched it as you will get back what you owe which was not the case, I feel that this sales pitch was miss leading. When I went in the second time, my intention was only to find out what my trade value was and not to actually purchase but they where determined not to let me walk out without buying a new bike (there a dealership and there job is to sell bikes so I get it). These guys wanted not just my trade in but where willing to buy my guns and anything else I had that could be used as a trade in (kind of sad). There pitch this time was tIres for life, but what they don't tell you is that only covers regular wear and tear and not hazards such as nails etc. I found out about the tires for life exception when I was signing papers and the financial manager said the warranty doesn't cover tires ‍ on a tires for life deal. As far as sales go, they got me a great deal and I walked out with a new bike that I love riding but around $70 more per month than what I was quoted. I feel they worked hard to get a deal done but were willing to miss-lead the customer to do it. The service department is just as sketchy, I'm not sure exactly what goes on there, but I know I brought my sportster in to replace the rear tire due to a nail. When I went back to pick it up and ride It home, it was flat again by the time I got home. I called them and informed them so they came and picked it up, I got a call from the service department saying I ran over another nail. I told them that I call B.S and said that I was going to pick it up and take it somewhere else, they threatened to void my two year warranty if I did that and told me to just trade it in for a new bike and I would get tires for life ‍. At the end of the day, it is not about the relationship with the customer but reaching a goal on new bike sales. That's why they got a 3/5. read more

What a deal? They said we would give me 110% of nada, what a deal right? And they did, BUT they jacked up the price of the new bike. After I figured it out i called the dealership and of coarse they said no that is not what they did. I called another dealership and asked for price of the bike I purchased and they said $16,000 which included all of the fees. Avalanche harley davidson stole me the bike at $20,000. If I could give it negative stars I would I apply and with in 5 min I got a call after they had all my info and co-signers info they would not call me back or return my calls every time I spoke with someone I was promise they would call back never happened if I didn't call them I wouldn't know they needed more info my co-signer is in the military and station in another state when I spoke to them they said that wouldn't be a problems that they would Fed-ex the paperwork and all he needed was to sign it in front or a public notary and stuff then after I finally got ahold of someone they told me everything is good we're approved but still no call back to set up appointment or anything and after more then 3 weeks with no response or call back they finally say that my co-signer needs to be in the state to make it happen after we explained several times that he was not allow to leave with in 50miles of the base horrible customer service nothing but lies and broken promises I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and this is how they treat our troops read more

The people at Avalanche are all very friendly and helpful. My saleswoman, Michelle, was personable and easy to talk to. They located the bike I wanted in Texas and had it delivered to my house. Bought my first Harley from the folks at Avalanche, and it was a great experience! Everyone was friendly and attentive to make sure I was taken care of on each step of the process. If you need a bike, go see Parker. Nick in Service was also great, answering all my questions and helping me with a few upgrades. Update Jan 2018 (1 year after purchase): This place is terrible! The store is constantly under staffed causing significant waits in all departments, especially Service. Once they get your money, you're not nearly as important. I have had two warranty issues with the bike; the first one took three months to resolve and get fixed, and the second is going on about four months. The Service Manger makes promises to look into these issues and call back, but never does and then will not return phone calls. When you bring this to his attention, he simply makes excuses saying that he is busy and has a lot going on. NO EXCUSES; if you say you will do something, then do it! Don't make customers call multiple times to follow up on something that is your job to fix. No longer using this dealership outside of regular maintenance, only because I was stupid enough to purchase the VIP package when I bought the bike. I will be taking the rest of my business else where. read more

We purchased a Harley on 10/10/2020 cash. Was lied to by Bob Mess,ore in Finance about the 2500.00 Warranty. We were told at the 1000 mile mark the vales would be check at the time of the oil change. Not So! This was not true. They do NOT check valves! They, Bob Messmore lied to us to get us to buy the warranty. Paperwork sent to us with one name (male) - not 2 names (female) - my name was also listed on the cashiers check at the time the vehicle was purchased. The male name was listed on the App for the Title. I called DMV (Denver County)to get the title and the plates for the Harley, because DMV is not accepting walk ins they told me that the dealership needs to send in the paper work overnight to them since Denver DMV is NOT accepting walk ins. This dealership says that DMV is WRONG!! Ok they know it all! I spent 59 minutes today on hold with DMV verifying how to get my title and plates. Avalanche Harley is saying that they can correct the name (S) but it is a lengthy process. DMV says the paperwork needs to be redone or paperwork that has to be notarized without expiration date must be filled out and given to them. Paperwork should have been filled out correctly by Avalanche. They want to argue, they think they know best! We bought this stupid warranty that cost us $2500 in which we had to pay by credit card since they don't take checks!!! I will never set foot in that place they are nothing but liars and cons. We kept asking for the owners manual but got the Booklet to order more parts instead and, we had to go back to the dealership to get the owners manual. Their priorities are not in line. There are other Harley dealerships in town that accept checks and probably treat their customers with greater respect. I'd consider going there before I would this place. read more

I went to Avalanche Harley Davidson on 8/10 and they had a special $10 installation on any new OEM tire in stock so I bit. $241 dollars and 2 hours later for a front tire for a Sporty I drove home and noticed a wobble that wasn't there before. I had plans for the next 2 days so I took it back on 8/12 and asked them to check their work thinking the tire didn't seat properly. I was told they would "get right on it". I got tired of watching my bike sit in the service garage and told them to give me my bike back and I would take it somewhere else. Noticing I was upset (as were the people I was riding with) the service manager told me my rim was bent, I told him it wasn't when I brought it in. He said he would order and install a new one at no charge and it should take about 7 days.10 days passed with no word so I called and was told it hasn't arrived. No explanation, no eta. I called back on 8/26, same story. I called back on 9/5 and was told it was back-ordered with no ETA, My bike has sat in my garage for almost a month without as much as a call. My invoice has the wrong bike on it. The "tech" that checked in my bike argued with me about the year and make and put another bike I used to own on the invoice. So much for accuracy. He didn't even check the VIN after I told him the bike had never been in before. At least they both use the same wheel. I tried to buy a taillight bulb (1156) when I first checked the bike in. The parts dept. looked for one for 30 minutes telling me they had 17 in stock and just couldn't find them. I bought one at the auto parts store. 5 weeks finally passed and on 9/14 I called 11 times before I could get someone to answer the phone in the parts dept. after explaining my situation again to a few different folks I was told the wheel for my 2006 Sportster was considered obsolete and was no longer available through HD. After calling them back later that evening I was told they found a wheel for my bike that should be delivered in 7-10 days and they would call me when it arrived. Since I had plenty time to burn I called one of the other Harley dealerships and they told me they could order a rim for me for about $150 bucks but I decided to follow this through. The day finally arrived. I got a phone call on September the 23rd telling me my wheel had arrived and I could bring my bike in. August the 12 until September the 23rd. It took 42 days to get the wheel. I asked for an appointment on Tuesday the 26th at 4:30 to have it installed. I received a phone call on the 26th at 11 am telling me my bike was ready to be picked up, I thought that was strange considering I hadn't brought it in yet. I told that to the person on the phone and he asked me if I would like to make an appointment to have it installed to which I replied I already had one at 4:30. I was told there was not an appointment but that would be fine. I arrived early for my appointment (3:48) and they checked me in and said it should only take "about an hour". During that time I asked to have the correct info for my bike put on the invoice and they fixed that. They were finishing up my bike and presented me with a bill for $646 that they said was "on them". The service tech told me my bike still had a wobble because my bike (with only 5k miles on it) needed to have the triple tree assembly rebuilt and they could do that for about $600-$700. I declined. I got my bike back at 5:13 (2 hours 25 minutes later). Riding the bike home I noticed the wobble was worse than ever. I checked the fork stem bolt when I got home and it was very loose, I tightened it back up and there is now zero wobble. I just dodged an $600-$700 unnecessary charge. If they had actually checked my triple tree assembly they would have immediately noticed that, hard to miss. After taking 4 bikes in for work and buying several accessories from them over the years they won't ever have to put up with me again. read more

Walked in here out of the blue just browsing for bikes, Bones black immediately saw that I was having a hard time finding the right bike. Due to the fact this was my first Harley purchase. Well bones worked with me to a tee I described which bikes I liked and he didn't stop at just showing me one. After I found a bike I like and decide to go for a test ride, cowboy a service tech at avalanche fitted me for an even better bike lower than what my budget was and definitely one that fit me as a rider. These two found a bike of my choice that suit me perfect and we're able to get me out on it in the same day! These two didn't try to upsell me or push for me to buy brand new. They were both super hepful and very knowledgeable about the Harley Davidson machines. If you're looking for a bike in the near future Bones black and cowboy are the gents to see! read more

PLEASE READ. I literally downloaded this app to write this review of Avalanche HD. It is by FAR the worst motorcycle dealership in Colorado, and possibly the US. I bought a new bike from them about 2 years ago and it has been an unending painful experience. The sales staff is sleazy, (think used car salesmen) the parts department is not at all knowledgeable and have ordered parts that are either the wrong part completely, or the right parts without all the required hardware. But the worst of the worst is the service department. I've put on 30,000 miles since February of 2018 and coming in for services has yet to be a positive thing. They've scratched my gas tank, broken heat shields, scratched the navigation screen... Also, their techs do sketchy work. I've got my bike back home and had to tighten the oil drain plug because it was dripping oil. So if they are so terrible why have I come back? I was dumb enough to sign up for the extended service plan, and all my services are free. I've actually started going to Mile High Harley Davidson in Aurora and paid out of pocket for service even though it's free at Avalanche. That's how bad it is. I've also bought a used bike from Motorado, that had it's service done at Avalanche.. it's absolutely terrifying some of the things I've found that were signed off by Avalanche as "fixed" to include stripped riser bolts securing the handlebars. They took the previous owners money, signed on paper saying that it was fixed, and didn't even look at it. My buddy also bought a bike form Avalanche, and dropped it off for a service, they called him and told him it was ready to pick up. When we got up to Avalanche, the bike didn't even have oil in it, and it took them over 3 hours to put oil in, and "wash" his bike. I say "wash" because they pretty much toss some soap in the general direction and spray some of it off. There is NO attention to detail when it comes to this dealership. I've seen techs and salesman drop bikes just moving them around the showroom. They sell bikes because of simple Supply and Demand. They have them, and people want them. I have so much regret that I didn't wait for another dealership to order the bike I wanted. I was inpatient and Avalanche had the bike I wanted. LESSON LEARNED! Don't get overly excited and buy from Avalanche just because they have something you want. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you are buying a bike. I don't know if your name goes on here, but my name is Jake Allen, I'm 25 and love riding. Please please buy elsewhere. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

Since I live in Parker I started my search at Mile High Harley and I just did not like the pushy sales approach the rep demonstrated, it was real turn off. So my wife asked if there was anywhere else I wanted to go and I remembered hearing on the radio that Avalanche Harley was having a big sale so we drove up there. From the moment we got there we felt welcomed. Guy, the salesman who helped us was personable, engaging, and very attentive to what our wants and needs were. His relaxed, laid back approach was just what we were looking for and really made the Harley buying experience very painless and worry free. I have been to Avalanche Harley twice now. The first time was not so great. Brent helped me with looking at bikes, and John was the sales manager. John was very pushy and even tried to get me to sign the Harley Visa application as part of the "normal process" not explaining that it was a separate application for a credit card. Luckily I had the presence of mind to lift up the sheet and read what I was signing, rather than just signing the next page as he only lifted the bottom 1/3 in order to hide what I was signing. Highly suspect practice/character. Not sure why I decided to go back, but the second time I talked to Nikki and Adam....way more straightforward, and this time when it came to the Harley Visa application Nikki fully explained to me what it was instead of hiding it and trying to get me to sign. They actually found me a bike I wanted at a price I could afford, so I purchased from them a month ago and have been happy ever since!
