Of course they didn't owe up to it, said it was like that when It was dropped off and they missed it in their original diagnosis. 100% not how it was when I dropped it off. On 06/19/2026 I misplaced my key fob and fork lock at my job and ordered new keys and fob which cost $176 (reasonable price) . I almost walked out the door realizing the parts clerk told me my keys should arrive to the dealership within 2 weeks . I thought $46 was kind of inexpensive , so I went back in and said wait a minute, my bike uses a fob not a standard key.so the order had to be cancelled and reordered. I didn't get the gentleman's name that entered this order . 2 weeks went by and I called and asked have my keys arrived ? As I made arrangements for my job to keep an eye on my motorcycle while stuck in there parking lot . I was transferred to Bret the parts manager who pretty much solidified my reason for giving this negative review. I told Bret that his staff told me it would be 2 weeks (not 15 business days) for my key to arrive and I also mentioned that my VIP book was stolen from my truck and I am a VIP and I told him his staff told me I was "out of luck, sorry" . Bret preceding to tell me there is no way his staff would tell me the keys would arrive in 2 weeks after I told him to please reeducate them so they do not tell a different customer they encounter this misinformation. I think he realized he was being rude and changed his tone and told me "we just want to make it right " and if we have to pick your bike up and bring it to the shop we can do that. I told him my job is giving me until Monday 07/13 and as long as I have them by then we should be good. as of today Friday 07/10 Bret changed his tone when I asked him if he can still get my bike picked up and brought to the dealership so I can get it out of my job's parking lot . He proceeded to tell me "we don't do that " but I can give you a number for a tow company that handles that for us . ( I thought "why the hell do I pay for VIP ). it is the 15th business day and I expected my keys to be delivered to the dealership. I never received a callback as promised so I drove 7 miles to Avalanche Harley Davidson and went to the parts department and was given the key fob and was told we are still waiting for the fork lock key ( that's the one I need the most ‍) Bret said in a condescending voice "we don't control when the keys come in) and then proceeded to tell me the order wasn't processed until Tuesday 06/23 and my 15 business days didn't start till then. I understand Friday 06/19 was a holiday, but why wait until Tuesday 6/23 when it could've been processed on Monday 06/22. I had to call my job and beg them to give me the rest of the week due to Bret and his team's negligence. Bret then directed me to the business office and I did get a new VIP coupon book and I did tell the manager "take the free shirt coupon out as I would be embarrassed to wear a shirt that has Avalanche Harley Davidson on it. I don't want to be a walking advertisement for a company I feel are nothing but thieves.the free shirt I received upon buying my 2024 streetbob sits in a drawer never worn and probably never will be worn. I have been a loyal customer since 2020 when I purchased my brand new sportster , I even paid over $600 for them to swap the mini apes for the 48 style bars. Now to find out I overpaid for that service and probably could have done it myself. Please let me know if I can legally go to a different Harley Davidson dealership to get my remaining warranty services done as I have lost all trust in Avalanche Harley Davidson. Every interaction I've had with this place has been poor at best. From getting calls asking about the bike I was interested in (didn't even look at a bike, bought a part). Text messages confirming an appt. after they had confirmed it was cancelled. Multiple texts and phone calls to the point of harassment. On hold for almost 20 minutes for the parts dept. have to keep hitting 2 every 30seconds to get back in line. This place is a masterclass in bait-and-switch, incompetence, and total disregard for customers once they have your money. I was shown one bike and then the paperwork was written on a different bike. That is not a "mistake" -- that is deceptive sales behavior. Once the deal was done, the attitude flipped instantly. Calls went unanswered, answers were vague, and every follow-up made me feel like the problem for expecting basic accountability. The bike was sold as Harley-Davidson Certified, yet it threw a fault code before I even finished the first tank of gas. What followed was weeks of misdiagnoses, delays, and excuses. Service treated me like an inconvenience instead of a customer who just spent serious money. At no point did anyone take ownership or communicate honestly. While the bike sat in their shop, my temporary tags expired, and I was stuck paying a late registration fee -- a direct result of their failure to fix a problem they caused. On top of that, incentives that were explicitly part of the deal were conveniently "forgotten" until I had to call and demand what I was already owed. This dealership operates on pressure sales, sloppy paperwork, and post-sale neglect. Their bad reputation is absolutely deserved. This is absolutely the worst Harley-Davidson dealership in the state. Awful sales tactics awful customer service awful service department...... I'm actually quite baffled that this place is still standing. If you're reading this, I would go to any other dealership than this one. They don't have that many one star reviews for nothing. I promise you. The fit specialist pads the sale for the actual sales man. So they are gonna do the best they can to over sell you and make it seem like it's the sales man being the bad guy when really it's both them. Harley pays the "fit specialist" so little they want you to spend the most money possible so they make more. This is the silly game they will play with you. They will upsell the color of the bike and any other part that comes stock they think you'll believe they will charge you shipping even if it's on the lot or tell you what you want just sold so they can have another one shipped on your dime and a crazy detail fee for spraying a quarter of a can of $20 Harley detail spray on it with a micro fiber... $399 on more..... don't let anybody fool you. read more

Would have given Avalanche 5 stars, however there were several things that seriously rubbed me the wrong way. First, let me go over the good to excellent areas of the Dealership. 1) The sales person who helped us (Dean) was nothing less than outstanding. He was patient, knowledgeable and very helpful. Dean gets a 10 out of 10 hands down. 2) Dan, the business office person who finalized our paperwork and explained the VIP program, maintenance etc. Was also very knowledgeable and patient. 9 out of 10 would be a fair rating for both his service and knowledge of their products. 3) They have a very large inventory, as well as many rider services such as rider training, accessories, parts, and of course a full service department. Now for the areas that were not so great and really make me question if I would recommend Avalanche to a friend. Definitely I'd have to give that recommendation with a few areas to watch out for. 1) After spending nearly $30,000 in cash for our Harley Tri Glide, we were offered a "free gift" from the clothing department. They asked what size shirt I wore, I told them XL and they brought out a shirt with a ribbon around it in my size. The gal who presented it said it had all of their Harley stores across the nation. While we were there my wife bought a bell for me. She went to pay for the bell they charged us $30 for the T-shirt. Free gift my Ass. Since I had to pay for it I would have loved to choose my own rather than being a walking advertisement for them. I told Dean our sales person and they never made it right or even made an apology for my "FREE" gift. 2)I was told that there was a survey that they would appreciate us filling out. When we got home and were putting all the paperwork into the file cabinet we could not find a paper that told us were to find the survey. So I called and asked. After being placed on hold for 5 minutes I was told rather rudely that it would be emailed to me in 7-10 business days. 3) I continued to get emails from their internet sales group there about the Harley that we had originally inquired about from their web page. I wrote them back and explained that we had already purchased a bike from them and picked it up several days ago. They were very nice and told me that they were using a new AI to send out emails and that they would take care of it. I wanted to send an email to the manager concerning our purchase experience with Avalanche, and sent an email asking them if there was an email address that I could reach a manager at to give our impressions to. Silence. Not even the courtesy of a reply. Called and asked the same question and was bluntly told no. Bottom line, you decide. Is this the right dealership for you? If so, remember, they lie about your "free gift", will charge you for it and not make it right. Also remember that not all of their staff cares for customer service after you purchase. Sent video and pictures of my bike and had confirmed value of $7,000 if I traded in my bike. Once I got to the dealership found a bike I was interested in and that is where all the problems started, they wouldn't tell me the price. When I asked again I was told low to mid teens, when we sat down to do the numbers the value of my motorcycle went from $7,000 to $2,700 there bike ended up being $17,000. Worked out a deal on a 2023 Ultra Limited. I live in South Carolina and after being told the bike was in like new perfect condition I flew to Denver, rented a car and spent a night to make transaction. During my initial inspection of the bike It was obvious from the damage on both left and right engine crash bars and both lower painted plastics that this motorcycle had been dropped on BOTH sides. After pointing this out, the dealer rep mentioned the original owner was short and dropped the bike a couple of times then traded it on something lower. THEY KNEW the bike had damage and purposfully withheld this information from me knowing that I was traveling across country and incurring significant expense and time. I stopped in today with a friend that needed to pick up a part for his bike. Some mirrors I believe. Once again, the second I walked through the door I was descended upon by a sales person. I get it, that's their job but they should also know when to disengage. I informed him I wasn't shopping for a bike and just accompanying a friend buying parts. That simply wasn't enough. He asked my name, then asked for my last name which I found pushy and a tad rude. Then he started asking what I rode now and what kind of payment would make me consider buying. I told him I'm not looking for a bike and her persisted upon asking me more questions. It was really uncomfortable and I felt a tad disrespected. I was in the market for a new TRI GLIDE. I reached out to the internet manager to get a price on one. He responded back with MSRP + shipping, doc fee and taxes. I visited the dealership to test ride and work numbers. I was "handed" off to Seneca. The price they came back with was over $6k more than MSRP. Seneca laughed at me when I asked about the huge amount added to the MSRP and wouldn't even acknowledge that the internet manager quoted MSRP to me. Riders beware - Avalanche Harley are very deceptive in their sales practices. Quote you MSRP to get you in the door and then give you a ridiculous price when you are there. Also - they only had one 2025 Tri Glide on the floor while their internet page showed they had several. I researched and found that this dealership is part of a large network of dealerships and list those bikes too. While not illegal - still deceptive. They would charge you to have the bike shipped here. The dealership still contacted me to ask if I was ready to commit to the deal. I had to tell the sales person (fitment specialist) to quit calling me as I wasn't going to come back in. I still received more texts from the internet manager so I finally blocked him. I have bought several new Harleys through the years and Avalanche Harley is the worst. If only I could give less than one star......they don't even deserve one. read more

I'm a new rider and I bought a 2014 Deluxe in 2023 from Avalanche. My sales rep was great in terms of showing me around the place and urging me to sit on other bikes to see what fit and what else I might like. The bike I bought is fine. I ride it and I like it. However the bike was a bit of a Frankenstein. It had an aftermarket front fender from another model and an aftermarket seat that were not born on the Deluxe. I had no idea. Also the gas gauge was busted so it went back in the shop after just a few days in my garage. Service desk was fine. No trouble. I've been successful in a very competitive sales career for 25 years. Took in my bike to get the intake and other stuff upgraded, asked to have my original intake cover and such saved so I could keep it, fast forward to recently,a buddy of mine damaged his intake cover and asked if he could buy it/ have mine, sure. I get the part to give to my buddy and notice they switched out my original intake cover with a damaged one ( looks like the bike was laid down at some point) , this is just one among other things the service department tries to pull on customers. The dealership is employing dishonest and manipulative sales tactics in the exploitation of potential "customers." I listed my motorcycle for sale on a "marketplace." I was contacted by someone named Otis, saying I could get a good deal on it at the dealership. It sounded like a scam, so I called the dealership to inquire. The first red flag was that the receptionist did not know anyone named Otis, but I got connected to salesperson Taylor. Taylor confirmed that they were indeed buying used inventory but could not give an accurate quote over the phone. I understood but asked multiple times for a ballpark number to ensure we were even close so that a deal could be made, knowing I had upgrades on my bike. Taylor insisted I bring the bike out so I quickly rearranged my evening and got the bike to the dealership an hour before it closed. We did about 5 minutes of paperwork to verify the condition and then I just kept getting told only a few more minutes. I had been there an hour and twenty minutes, mind you, the dealership was technically closed at this point before they had an offer for me. I cannot remember the gentleman who came over with the offer paperwork but he showed me the NADA price, which is available online. He then offered to buy the bike at the auction price, thousands of dollars lower. He seemed confused as to why I was working with Taylor, confirmed that they don't employ anyone named Otis, and confirmed that my listing price was not ridiculous. He was sorry that I felt that it was a waste of time when they had my marketplace listing and knew where my expectations lie. They could have given me a ballpark estimate on a stock bike and I would have never showed up. Instead, they wasted 2.5 hours of my time just to try to lowball me and offer, while they have an employee using a fake name to contact people. All this happened when I was explicit that I had a very pregnant wife at home and did not want to be at the dealership in the first place. read more

I'm not one to waste my time leaving bad reviews, but Avalanche Harley was a terrible experience. The moment I walked in the door it was like a call center in India scam calling people. It started with myself looking to sell Harley Dyna and Avalanche reached out and said they were very interested since they claim they needed used bikes in there inventory and they are the #1 used bike buyer in the nation. Obviously I'm skeptical because it's a dealer, but for weeks I keep getting calls to bring the bike in. Well I'm an hour and half away and it's not worth me bring the bike in unless I can get a ballpark what they might pay. So they have me use there nada guide on there website, gives me a number in the $5k range which isn't terrible, they also say not to pay too much attention to the number because they most likely can do better when you actually come in. I mention I'm looking for $6k-$6500k or it's not worth my time, they reply that's doable if the bike is in the great condition which it is. Long story short I spend the day going down there and they come back with some bullshit offer of $3k. Took my Street Glide Special in for its 1K service this past weekend and Service Writer Ken was phenomenal. Attentive, friendly and stayed in touch throughout the process. Even completed the job when promised. To go along with that Joe and Jay in Parts helped set up the purchase and install of a set of Legend Revo Arc rear shocks. Please trust me when I say you absolutely do not want to do business with this place. I have had nothing but bad experiences every since I purchased my first motorcycle from avalanche. I am building a performance bagger and avalanche has completely made my experience terrible. Every single time I have had my bike worked on they have done something wrong and promised me things that never happened. They damaged my bike after paying thousands of dollars to have them work on it. After spending countless hours at avalanche and having my personal time wasted, I'm my opinion their rude general manager Harry S. Did nothing but insult me and my girlfriend with a terrible offer of fixing this issue. Then had the nerve to say how he's been to small claims countless times and how he will be ready for me to take him to small claims. He Cut me and my girlfriend off in our conversation we were having and stated that "the conversation was done". He got up with a smile on his face and walked out of the managers office. I asked to be refunded for the labor cost that I spent on this bike. I asked this because of the terrible job they did on the bike each time. I spent thousands of dollars to get treated and talked to like trash and for my bike to be kept from me for weeks at a time. My girlfriend and I were completely treated and talked to like trash by avalanches general manager. In my opinion, Harry S. Absolutely has no business dealing with customers. In my opinion, He is rude, condescending, careless, and absolutely disrespectful. All he could do was make terrible excuse for the issues I had gone through and basically laughed in my face when I told him I was not satisfied with how he wanted to make things right. To top it off they put my primary back together after having to fix my drive belt that they damaged. During the process, they pinched a gasket causing the bike to spit primary fluid all over my back tire. They released the bike to me and told me it was ready for pick up. I had my NINE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER on the back of the bike with me and we almost went down because there was fluid all over my back tire. This is unacceptable and I 100% should have been refunded the full amount that I paid after the BS I went through with this place. Instead I got talked to like I was joke by your disrespectful GM. Avalanches employees were embarrassed at the fact of how the GM handled the situation. I wasn't trash when they were taking thousands of dollars from me. Once they had my money I was nothing but a joke to them. Parts are WAY over priced. Labor is roughly $125-$150hr, which is absolutely ridiculous!!! You can find labor & parts cheaper anywhere. LITERALLY...anywhere!!! I grew up riding motocross, and recently wanted to go the route of a street legal bike. Even though I am already an experienced rider, they still taught me some tips and tricks I would have never thought of. The school provided very nice bikes to train on as well! The class is only 6 people so it was nice to have some one on one time (if needed), you really feel like Lucas and Therese are able to give you the attention you deserve! read more

These guys don't do anything fast. If you want to buy a bike expect to it to take four hours at a minimum on a slow day. Service? You're going to wait 30+ mins just to talk to the one person that does intake and payment (forget about calling, no one answers the phone and their online service scheduling doesn't actually work.) Why have 4 desks in the service department and only one person working? I like the dealership and the customer service when you're actually dealing with someone but the waits are ridiculous. I'll also add this isn't due to Covid. They have been like this for years. I'd like to also add, their sales team touts how much volume they do in sales but their service team is staffed like a mom and pop outfit.
