Here's the actual price. Over 6700. That's about 49% increase. When I called them on it they blamed it on cars.com and said they have no control over that. However that is not accurate. They do control it and can have it changed. As a matter of fact they already have it changed. So they don't control it but when I called them on it for false advertising after we had already been in there and test drive it once and came back 4 days later still same price no updates and now that we want to buy magically the price is not right. Did the manager come out to say sorry...no. Did the manager offer anything to compensate for the issue as a good will gesture....no. In my opinion this was a calculated choice or a best a mistake that someone needed to own up too. 1000 of that is doc fee. And let's be honest it at most cost them 60 to do all the paperwork and documents the rest is hidden profits for the dealers. I am reporting to BBB and who ever else will listen.

They did not have the part in stock so it required a second visit. On the plus side, they did find and fix a burnt out rear turn signal. Total time the first visit 3 hours. The second visit required 45 minutes. Please be advised, the office clerk on duty needed more training. The make assumptions that error codes are faults from other repair shops. They don't communicate the issues clearly so the customer specifically understands what the issues are. They Won't keep warranty parts knowing they are under warranty status, unless you ask for the parts back. They don't explain what entails a tear-down to investigate a reported issue. They provide a video of an inspection but don't explain what you are looking at.

So, we put a lot of trust in Ron to help us pick the right vehicle. We were particularly concerned with whether the car sustained any mechanical damage from the front and fender bender that it was in. He repeatedly reassured us that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the engine and that it was merely bodywork. Hundreds of miles and dollars later, we arrived at frontier motors and within the first few minutes of our test drive found paperwork showing that the car had had the transmission replaced, and that mechanical damage was sustained during the accident. When we confronted Ron about this, he threw a childish tantrum. We talked to the manager, and he was unwilling to admit his wrong or to make it right for tricking us into traveling hundreds of miles for a dud car. These people are scammers even though they pretend that they are good business people. Don't trust them.
