Saturday is not the day to get anything done besides minor fixes or oil changes. I came for a burnt out headlight. It was easy to see, but their diagnostic machine could not find it due to a different issue. The light bulb socket had developed a short. They did not have the part in stock so it required a second visit. On the plus side, they did find and fix a burnt out rear turn signal. Total time the first visit 3 hours. The second visit required 45 minutes. Please be advised, the office clerk on duty needed more training. He had a very hard time getting the system to process my service required and bill me for the part and time. Total cost $230. Quit high for two lights read more

Sandy Sansing service department in Milton, FL is very ineffective at what they do. They obviously haven't been in the service business very long or very good. They don't call with updates in any sort of manor. They clear service, engine codes without investigating the codes. Brought in with a engine light on, left with an engine light on. The make assumptions that error codes are faults from other repair shops. They don't communicate the issues clearly so the customer specifically understands what the issues are. They Won't keep warranty parts knowing they are under warranty status, unless you ask for the parts back. They don't explain what entails a tear-down to investigate a reported issue. They provide a video of an inspection but don't explain what you are looking at. read more

I took my Dodge Ram here for a routine oil change and allowed them to rotate the tires as well. They did the work and said it looks great with no service needed at all.,My truck was flawless with no issues or noises with 50k on it when I brought it in. The next morning, I crank it up and notice a clicking sound and loud squealing when I backed out of the driveway. I called the dealership back to let them know and see what happened, and they were very rude and told me it would be a week before the could look at anything and they would charge me another $200 to diagnose the problem. It took me several attempts and days to have the service manager to call me back. So, I brought it in for them to tell me no way they could have done anything wrong and I now need a $2,000 repair. I started my 2021 Ram Power Wagon and every caution light under the sun started to display. I thought it might be a low voltage issue but drove the truck to Sandy Sansing Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram dealership to have the diagnosis confirmed. The technician hooked up to my vehicle and came to the conclusion that the problem was a right rear wheel speed sensor. The service advisor (Felicity) scheduled an appointment to have the warranty repair fixed. After taking off a day of work to have the vehicle serviced, the advisor told me they did not have the part in stock. I have now gone a month without any safety features on my vehicle as the wheel speed sensor disables the collision avoidance, traction control, cruise control, etc.... They never ordered the part and I'm still without a working $80,000 truck. I purchased the vehicle here and will never be back for any sort of business ever again. The service advisor (Felicity) got argumentative about the scheduling//Diagnosis/parts ordering process after I complained about taking a day off with no part ordered. The service manager was not at work at the time of the incident so I'm currently waiting for a phone call back to come up with a solution to the problem. The advisor had zero customer service skills and needs to be talked to about how to handle these types of situations. Update: the service manager finally showed up and had an even worse attitude than the service advisor. The extremely bad attitude was a something I didn't expect nor something you should ever see in a manager. Zero customer service skills. I told him I would talk to the General Manager for resolution. I went to Hill-Kelly Dodge to get the part (wheel speed sensor) that was diagnosed on my first visit weeks ago. The service advisor refused to assist with getting the factory part from another dealer. I was going to fix the truck myself even though it was covered under warranty. A manager in the sales department finally stepped in after I returned and after explaining the situation, he took the part I got from the dealer (factory part) and completed the repair. Again, I am appalled by the lack of customer service in the service department. I will not be back for anything service related. The sales department staff were the only ones who assisted in this whole process. And for Mr. Kelly M., from my experience in the industry, when codes were pulled on my previous visit, they came from the OBD II port or (On Board DIAGNOSTICS port). Not sure why hooking up to the trucks computer isn't considered diagnostic... I think others in this industry would disagree. It's odd how the code thrown for the wheel speed sensor failure on the right rear was accurate and the new sensor I purchased fixed the truck.... read more

Jeff, the service manager was completely rude and unprofessional. His is a complete embarrassment to the company. He told me he would hold my car hostage until Monday (this was on Wednesday) and run my car for 4 hours a day until the smoke stopped. When I asked Jeff for the highest management team member, he said that was Sandy Sansing and good luck getting in touch with him. I had to call another Sandy Sansing dealership and get the customer service manager involved because how rude this man was being. Mrs. Kelly at the Pensacola location called me immediately and I explained my situation to her. She had that dealership get my car fixed and backed to me by 4:30pm the same day. The GM manager Chris was also a great help and came in on his day off to help Kelly handle this matter. They never test drove my car before returning it, Jeff made an excuse because I had a low fuel light on, but Chris told him that's why you have a gas card. Also, Jeff had my car pulled around and charged me $55 for coolant but was not a drop of coolant in the coolant reservoir. The GM had to grab a bottle and fill it up. That was just the second time my car was brought back to the shop. The first time they fixed my valve cover gasket but overlooked the timing cover was leaking oil, thermostat housing was cracked which was causing a coolant leak as well as the water pump leaking coolant which made me bring it back the 2nd time. I had to bring my car back 3 times from April 29th-May 28th. If they would have doubled checked and looked over everything and just degreased and cleaned up the mess the first time I would have never had an issue. Jeff constantly told me that it was supposed to smoke until the oil burned off but because of the lack of quality the first time I didn't accept my car smoking the way it was. Very poor quality and will never bring my car back to that dealership because of Jeff and how he acted and spoke to me. Mrs. Kelly was in the Pensacola office and was very pleasant and had everything handled and fixed within a few hours. I took my paid off truck and traded on a diesel used truck. They offered low low for my trade in wouldn't budge any lower on theirs. For that reason they agreed to fix a deep scratch that was the length of the truck. Their truck had terrible worn tires, my truck had newer KO2 tires on it. I asked if I could trade the tires they said yes for 240 dollars. I agreed. They said they were going to do a full inspection and change the oil with a full detail the next day. Come 9 hours later they still weren't finished. The sales man Blaine (which was not my sales man) got irritated because I had to leave to take care of my kids. He brings me the truck half clean, tires not changed , and an oil sticker in the window. 1 week goes by, I'm staying in contact with Blaine because it all just seems fishy. Wednesday I drop it off at 5am they open at 830. I get off work at 2 I show up and the scratch isn't fixed. Only half is. They reset the oil detector and can't even prove they did the oil, and for the tires is 279.00. I had to pay miscellaneous charges to swap tires... wow!!! Anyway I ask to speak with Jeff the service manager instead I get Blaine... We go outside and I'm telling him that this is not ok, this isn't part of the deal, if the scratch was going to be there I didn't want the truck. They was part of the deal and in the numbers when I signed the contract. I did get loud and say there is a damn scratch because he was like "ugh I don't see it, ugh" he proceeds to get his Manager which I don't know his name. He came out ready for a fight. He yelled he screamed he made a fool out of me alright. I told him if I was a man he wouldn't be talking to me like that. He told if I was a man he would end it would I like to see. I bought a used 2017 truck from them. A day later the engine light came on, I brought it back to them just to be told they couldn't help me. I left because I was so upset, then the truck died, and I brought it back to get repaired, after ten days of my truck sitting in there lot, they Finally did a diagnosis and said it was the fuel pump, ( which I already knew and told them that ) I bought a Warranty thru this dealership because Scott the finance manger talked me into it. He told me if I buy the warranty I could get a rental car when if my truck brakes down. The warranty company literally does not answer the phone, ever! So I was without a vehicle for ten days. When I finally got my truck back, it broke down again a day later, with THE SAME PROBLEM! I had to get my truck towed back to the dealership again! So now I'm without a vehicle again because the service department said they can't do a diagnostics check until Wednesday and they won't contact the Warranty company until then. I asked my niebor who's is a mechanic of 26 years to look at the truck in the lot, he looked at it and said he didn't think it looked like the fuel pump had been replaced at all because the nuts and bolts that attach the gas tank look like they where never touched. So here I am with a vehicle that I'm paying $350 a month, with a big amount down! and the truck has never ran good, left me stranded twice, and no idea when I'll get it back or if it will ever be properly repaired. I took my truck there after the check engine light came on and began running rough. My truck is a 2021 with warranty and extended warranty. I was quoted almost a thousand dollars for a bad fuel injector. I was told by Chris that warranty did not cover the malfunction. I explained I also have an extended warranty and it should be covered. Chris again told me to get him my extended warranty information but it would still not cover the malfunction. I called my extended warranty company and was told the malfunction was covered. This dealership did everything they could to make me pay full price for repair even when I had warranty. After everything was said and done I did owe a 250.00 deductible. I also had my oil changed for quoted price of 85.00 and tire rotation for 25.00. They tried to charge me 450.00 and said it was so much for getting the oil changed. I re-quoted what price was given to me for the oil change and was told to hold. Chris came back on the phone and said he took 30.00 off. I ended up paying 420.00. After I got home and read through the paper work. I found he snuck in a 40.00 dollar service fee. I will not be returning to this dealership for any type of work on my vehicle. Just an FYI that I did not know, call your warranty company first before taking your vehicle anywhere and they can recommend someone. read more

I just purchased a new 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L from this dealership about a month ago. My sales guy Blaine and the district manager Trevor were all about customer service and "call me if you have any problems." That was all before I filled out their "Customer Satisfaction Survery" and when I completed the survey, it's like they completely changed. I took my car through the car wash and water leaked through the speaker from above my head and through where the visor is connected, also I noticed a wind noise when I got up to 70 miles on the interstate.I had to literally call multiple times to get them to put me in for service with a loaner because they needed it for the whole day. Mind you I never received a call from Trevor. I managed to get him on the phone eventually and he apologized for not giving me a call back, he stated, he never wrote the message down but that I would get a loaner for that day. Service department looked at my vehicle and said they couldn't replicate the problem and that the sunroof wasn't completely closed. I told him that I knew how to close the sunroof and there clearly was a problem. I told him that I would run it through the car wash again and videoed it because they clearly didn't check it out themselves. So I ran it through immediately after I left service and water was leaking once again through the speaker and the visor. I sent the video to my salesperson and the service department and never heard back from them. I also asked the service department a couple of days later if they received my video and he said that it didn't work, so he gave me his email address and I sent it to him and he said that he might could get me in next week, but wasn't sure that he could get me a loaner, so nothing apparently was put in the books just that I would receive a call to see if they had something. .I tried to call Trevor twice and he hasn't even answered any of my calls. I put a call in to Jeep Care and they made notes and set me up with another dealership for service 50 miles away, big inconvenience. My word of advice what ever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE AT THIS DEALERSHIP!! The managing staff at Sandy Sansing in Milton are pitiful and disrespectful. I went in there today to get a used car for my oldest daughter who will be graduating high school next year. I looked around the dealership on my own and then met up with a great salesman who helped me look at the inventory. After we looked at several cars, I finally found a Nissan that was in my budget. It was a used Black 2019 Nissan Altama with 42,000 miles and had some scratches and nicks but all-in-all, I was going to buy it. The sale rep told me that it was around $24,000. Well, I had $20,000 in my pocket and $10,000 more in my truck that I drove in. I asked the sales rep if he thought the managers would take $20,000 for the used car and the sales rep said he was not sure but it never hurts to ask. So the rep went inside to talk to the sales manager and I was standing by the TV but I could still hear what the manager was telling my sales rep. The manager said in a loud and aggravated tone to my sales rep "I have the car listed for $24,000 not $20,000 so dont come up here asking to buy it for $20,000". But before the manager walked away from the podium I felt like he was looking in my direction and said in a very loud and disrespectful tone.. "This isn't 1994 anymore" and then finally walked away. The sales rep then met me at the table explained to me that there was no room to move on the price. But after watching and listening to the way that manager spoke to that employee who was acting on my behalf and then saying something disrespectful towards me... I decided to leave. After experiencing that I am not spending my money at any Sandy Sansing dealership again. Here is the most crazy part, I bought a Chevy Equinox there about 4 years ago, then a week later I took my brother in there who bought a Dodge Dakota because of my recommendation, and then 2 days later.. I took my father-in-law in there who bought a used Toyota because of my recommendation. I own a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited that had a lifetime powertrain warranty. Initially my experiences with the Jeep dealer in Milton were positive. Their service advisors are generally very pleasant and want to be helpful. After the dealership was purchased by Sandy Sansing however, I have had a two year odyssey of incompetence and disappointment with the service department. Bottom line up front, their service advisors seem to be prevented by their management and Chrysler from honoring warranties if the repairs are too expensive. Several years ago I began having issues with the radiator coolant leaking and needing to constantly refill it. I brought it in to the dealer to be checked out on at least two occasions and they could not find the source of the leak (it ended up being a bad radiator cap). In late summer 2018 I was on my way home from work and the engine overheated. I had it towed to Sandy Sansing and their diagnosis was that a single cylinder needed to be replaced and it would be covered by the warranty. After they completed the cylinder repair and that did not fix the problem and the entire engine needed to be replaced. When it became the more expensive engine replacement, they and the adjuster from Chrysler decided it would not be covered by the warranty and would cost more than $6000 for a refurbished engine. I called and emailed Chrysler several times in an effort to have the warranty honored but they refused. At the time the car had around 180000 miles on it and other than the engine issues was still in very good shape so I decided to make the replacement and get a couple extra years out of what was otherwise still a nice SUV. The Jeep began having problems again in August/September of 2019. I started the car and turned the air conditioner on and the car lurched and was stuck in a single gear. I had it towed to Sandy Sansing because I thought the repairs would be covered under the warranty on the new engine. After having their technicians look at it they informed me that the transmission needed to be replaced. They offered me a good deal ($1000) on trading in what they told me was a jeep with a bad transmission. Fortunately my vacation time fell in September so I spent the next week looking at new/used cars. My dad, a retired mechanic and his wife were visiting during my second week of my vacation and he wanted to look at the Jeep himself. We went to Sandy Sansing and... IT TOOK HIM TEN MINUTES TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM WAS A BLOWN FUSE, NOT A TRANSMISSION THAT NEEDED REPLACEMENT. Guess what the cause of the blown fuse was? WHEN THEY HAD REPLACED THE ENGINE THEY HAD FAILED TO PROPERLY ZIP TIE AND COVER THE WIRING ON THE ENGINE AND A WIRE WAS RUBBING ON METAL AND EVENTUALLY BECAME EXPOSED CAUSING A BLOWN FUSE. The reason the problem occurred the first time when I turned the AC on was that this fuse which provided power for the AC compressor also provides power for the transmission control module. So with the help of the owners manual and the check engine codes my dad accomplished in ten minutes what this "Chrysler/Jeep certified" service department couldn't do in two weeks and eventually gave up and tried to either sell me on replacing a transmission (not under warranty) or buying a new car. The car has started running rough again since the new year started. They've tried several times to fix it under warranty but now tell me after throwing parts at it and assuring me it was fixed as well as taking it on test drives (the odometer changed less than a mile from the time I dropped it off on one occasion), now they say this refurbished engine that they sold me and has had regular oil changes since then, needs to be disassembled at the cost of thousands of dollars...not under warranty. Whether it's incompetence or malice or both this is not the place to have your vehicle serviced. They don't honor warranties. They can't properly diagnose a bad radiator cap or a blown fuse and do poor quality work in general. read more

Bottom line, not a good experience and won't be returning if I can ever help it. Nor will I let anyone if I can help it. My vehicle came back in a less drivable condition than what I gave it to the shop in. They fixed the leaks, but it came out with the front differential stuck locked. For what is about a 300 dollar part, that worked perfect when it went in, they asked me to purchase an entire axle for over 5,000 dollars. The diff lock worked just fine when I drove it in, and now I'm stuck with a vehicle less usable than before. With all due respect, these "mechanics" seem more like "parts changers" to me, and should not be pulling assemblies apart if they cannot return them to the same condition they were brought in as, or better. Especially if they plan on trying to charge me over 5,000 dollars for the damage. So now I either get to sacrifice a day of my time in the garage, or find another shop that will properly take care of the axle. read more

I am so angry with these people! I was referred to this dealership by a friend, so I called to ask about buying a car. I told the guy up front that due to a divorce my credit wasn't the best. They encouraged me to let them check my credit over the phone before I made the drive (40 miles). I agreed to it but didn't know my credit would have SIX INQUIRIES from just one phone call. This is the absolute worst dealership on the planet! I purchased a brand new truck and discovered it had a paint issue a couple days after I got it home. Called them spoke with multiple people to no avail. Took it on to a professional detailing shop and got an estimate done to repair it properly and the dealership refused to pay for it.
