Under no circumstances whatsoever should you trust this bunch of shysters. This is probably the worst experience that I've ever had buying a car from anybody ever. They lied to me from the get go ...they sold me a car that was not what they said it was it and now I'm stuck with it... they took $11,000 of my money, ripped me off in my trade in and then hooked me up with a loansharking finance company and at the same time smiled at me and acted like they were do me a favor. Yeah I agreed to all, including a very expensive car maintenance program which I did not need and they knew I did not need it because this car still had a new car warranty that followed it and now they won't give me my money back on that bogus service contract beverything they told me was one big fat lie. We recently purchased a 2014 Nissan Murano from Ted Ciano's. At the time of purchase we also purchased an extended warranty. Six weeks later we took the Murano back to Ciano's and traded it in on a newer nicer SUV. The extended warrenty was canceled on the Murano as well. A full refund was issued to Ciano's from the warranty company. Ciano's gave us a refund LESS the taxes on the warranty purchase. This is not right. When a product is return to the place of purchase a full refund is given to include the tax. I have purchased 3 cars over the years from Ted Ciano but never again. For $163 they pissed off a customer. In typical used car salesman fashion, they screwed the consumer. read more

My experience with Ted Ciano's was amazing from beginning to end. We are a military family, so we were buying from afar. I worked with Debbie Signor and she was so professional and so eager to help me find the exact make/model/miles I was looking for. She worked tirelessly for weeks to find me exactly what I wanted for my price point. She kept me in the loop. When I picked up the car, Debbie and Clayton got me in and out quickly. bought the car online without a physical inspection because it was described as a low mile car with 'just normal wear and tear. no real damage' (exact text from the salesman). car was shipped to me, and upon arrival noted: bad paint job on the front left fender with orange peel and overspray, front left headlight sideswipe damage, rust from a sideswipe on the back left fender, damaged trim on the front left bumper, two dime sized DEEP rust spots on the roof where the paint was bubbled off, had to replace the drivers side fog light that was broken loose from a collision, etc. You get the point - this is a used car dealer with a very loose definition of what isn't 'real damage.' This car has damage on all four corners, sides, and even the roof and was clearly in an unreported collision. oh, and all the tree sap on the roof and trunk lid was a nice touch, couldn't even be bothered to clean that off. read more

Had several problems with my car. They tried to fix it once. It took over 2 weeks. I got it back and the headlight still wasn't fixed and the check engine light came on again the next day. We called said we wanted them to buy it back and they said they would. Once I got there, they said they wouldn't even pay it off. Not to mention give me the $4,100 back that I put down on it. I was upset and asked to speak to the manager. I was told he WOULD NOT come out of his office. I insisted several times. Still no Mark. Nathan the service manager was doing everything he could to help. Unfortunately, he said that Mark makes the decisions. Nathan finally convinced Mark to agree to pay it off but I lost over $5,000 and I only had the car for 3 months. I was very upset when I left and called Debbie the owner. She was just as bad as a Mark. She was actually MAD that mark even agreed to pay it off. She was basically saying that she doesn't buy bad cars and I should just let her fix it. I have 3 children and I need a RELIABLE car. Not one that has the check engine light constantly on. I thought I was buying from a RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY dealership but that's obviously wrong. The service manager Nathan was great, and the salesmen there are great. I find it odd that the only people I had problems with are people in the Ciano family. I bet whoever opened this to begin with is rolling over in his grave at how they are treating people. I have never in my life seen a manager not come out of his or her office to try to help an unhappy customer. EVER! I wouldn't reccomend this place to my worst enemy. read more

Just bought my 2015 Jeep Patriot and loved the entire experience! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful from beginning to end. Debbie wasted no time crunching numbers to get the car within my budget and I was ready to go in less than an hour! Buyer beware! When purchasing a vehicle from this company the end of December 2017 and my first payment due on the 27th of Jan.; I was told I was getting a simple interest loan with Ally Bank. Three weeks into ownership I received a letter from Ally Financial to let me know that the terms and conditions of my loan were not accepted but not to worry, that my payment would remain the same. They also wrote that I should contact the dealership to find out what those changes where. I went to the finance manager of Ted Ciano dealership within a week of receiving the letter and to pick up my tag. He told me nothing had changed. That he had not been told anything. In February, I also paid for March. I made the next payment on it's due date on April 27, 2018. When I went to make my May payment online, I noticed that my April payment went all to interest, nothing to principle. Hmm, something is up so I called the bank and I told their representative of ALLY Financial that it seems that I have loan similar to a credit card, like a revolving line of credit. They said yes maam, you have a Flex Pay 1 loan. Stunned, I asked him to repeat that. So your telling me I don't have a simple interest loan like I was told by Ted Ciano representatives? He said no maam you don't. When contacting the owner of Debbie Ciano after six payments, she acted dumb and said to come in and she would try to help me refinance my car. If there was a better finance company with a fixed rate, they should have given it to me to begin with! BUYER BEWARE OF BOTH TED CIANO AND ALLY BANKING FINANCIAL they can change your terms and conditions of the contract you sign for up to 20 days after the sale. If the dealership you use does not put it in writing, hire an attorney, I am. If you continue to make your payments as agreed or even pay the day after, they charge you more interest (not a late fee) so that they can make more money. The way that the representative I talked to today at Ally explained it to me is this; they have a form letter go out to most everyone within those 20 days. I am posting this to show the public, what games Ally Bank Financial (formally the closed GMAC who's executives were charged for fraudulent activities) and Ted Ciano play with their customers just to sell a car. Just know that what you sign, may not be what you get. According to the contract they were suppose to notify me of the changes in writing. They did not. read more

Bought an 05 Honda Civic for our 16 year old daughter. She paid for most of it with her money, she has worked since she was 14. It was in shop when we bought it so we didn't test drive it, but they assured us their mechanic was top notch and if anything was wrong with it, they would find it. Picked car a couple of days after paying cash for it as they said they had air conditioner replaced as it didn't quite check out. Car needed new tires and they told us they had a set of barely used tires they would put on for us. They found out tires weren't right size so they adjusted our price by a couple of hundred dollars to compensate, sounds all right so far, right? One tire was flat when we went to pick it up so they filled it with air and we went directly from there to have new tires put on. The tire place wouldn't do it because one wheel had a missing lug nut and the bolt threads were stripped. Drove it on home so we could take it to our local shop to have that fixed. Car temp spiked a couple of times on way home. Looked under hood after getting home and found the reservoir cap for radiator overflow missing. Also the prop stick for the hood was not connected to anything and it was laying on top of the car engine. Also the cold air intake was not intact like it should be. The Carfax report stated this car had not been wrecked, but it was clear it had been. I have heard since then on the news that car dealerships are finding ways to change the report so now I have to wonder. But this already started to shake our confidence in their top notch mechanic. Took it to our local shop that we thoroughly trust for tires, had to have bolt pressed on, they also found front brakes were only 30 percent so we had them put on new ones as this is my 16 year old driving. Our shop tried to find a new cap for reservoir, but could only get it if the whole reservoir was replaced so suggested I shop online to find one and they would put in for $40 if I did as I could get one cheaper online. We did all that too. In the end the car kept on getting hot, so we took it back to our shop and they did a leak test and told us that it was showing it was an internal leak (engine) and they did not work on that and gave us a name of a garage they trusted for that. We decided at that point it was time to call Ciano's back. This was in a matter of a couple of weeks of buying it. The car only got driven 3 times in that period with the work being done on it and only for short distances and always stopped when the temperature gage went up. Nathan, the sales manager asked me what we wanted because he assured me they would do whatever it took to make us happy. At that point I just asked for our money back and the money we had put in it. After taking two days of mainly us calling them, he finally agreed to have a tow truck come get the car so their mechanic could look at it. The mechanic said the fan relay switch was bad and the fans were not working (I had already checked this out prior and both fans were running fine) No one mentioned the internal leak we had told them our shop had detected. Got car back and yep, you guessed it, started running hot. Ciano's took it back again after much persistence from us. This time the mechanic finally said that the head gasket was blown. The owner of Ciano's called (Debbie) and said that our daughter must have not paid attention to the temp gauge and drove it hot for too long....which I find funny because she had only drove it 3 times and was told to watch it and she did as she stopped when it went up. Since Debbie felt it was our fault, she said if we had it repaired they would pay half and we would pay half. We still asked for them to just give us our money back, but of course that was a no, so we felt we had no other option but to have it fixed. The day before the car was done (which we had to keep calling to find out as they would promise they would call and never would) I wrote a review on FaceBook. It wasn't a very pleasant review. Debbie Ciano called and said "If the review that was written on FB isn't taken down, we won't pay our half of the bill". So I took down the review (talk about freedom of speech), just until we picked up the car then promptly put my review back up. Now Ted Ciano's of Facebook as removed all of their reviews and has even blocked me from making any comments on their page......it's easy for people to give a business a good review when things go right, but the integrity of a business ought to be judged by when things go wrong....and Ted Ciano's has no integrity. read more
