The filling tasted like straight sugar.. no blueberry taste.. no lemon juice, no salt at all.. and there was too much almond spice. Blueberries have some of the most diverse flavors, don't hide the flavor of blueberry with the amount of sugar& spice you put in the filling. I'm giving the rest of the pie to my guava and I'm going to Walmart to get a redemption blueberry pie. I really hate leaving a subpar answer for a review, but I was suuuper stoked to get a homemade blueberry pie.

Then it worked for me. Now it doesn't. Things evolve. But some people prefer lard in pie crust and if that is your thing then this is your pie because the fillings are tasty for sure.
