Unfortunately, we've had nothing but bad experiences with Dino and his team. I would not trust your home to him. As a property manager, we hope that they can maintain the property in good condition. Unfortunately they had difficulty doing that. There were issues with pests, erosion, and electrical that posed safety concerns that we discovered ourselves. Dino was a consummate professional in my dealings with him as a rental agent searching for a property on the peninsula. He was there on time, the property was in good condition to view, he sent a lease in a timely manner, was highly responsive to questions and concerns and addressed the needs of my client, (the renter) as well as staying inside the parameters the owner would accept. His team facilitated pre-move-in made repairs and coordinated the painting of the home as the owner was out of country. If I were an owner on the Peninsula, I would hire Dino. Since we were out of state we needed somebody we could trust and make sure all the issues were taken care off. We looked at a rental that was managed by this company. During our tour of the property, Dino was talking poorly about the previous tenant and their pet which we thought was very unprofessional. Despite his behavior, we liked the house and turned in an application right away after he said that the applications would be reviewed in the order received. Dino was less than honest with us about not getting the house and said that the couple before us completed their application first and were offered the house. The funny thing is that we saw that same couple at another open house in the area the following weekend and compared notes. They still took our application fees. What a liar and scammer. Came across as a really nice guy to begin with. However even though we were first in line our application was rejected as we weren't able to move within 3 days of viewing before other candidates after us. Very different to our conversation and explanation that candidates were more qualified without merit. I would think twice before going with this property manager. read more

Dino is a fantastic property manager! We found Dino last year to manage our condo in San Mateo. My husband and I are new to property management and Dino was so great at walking us through every step of the process. He handled everything from making sure our condo was clean and ready to be rented out in addition to finding us our tenants. Our main reason for choosing Dino was his ability to communicate quickly and efficiently over email, text and phone! In addition he is very responsible and notifies us whenever there is an issue with the property in addition to giving us options and cost estimates if required. As a tenant of a property managed by Dino I can only say we had a horrible experience. We were very excited at first because the property was nice, clean and exactly what we needed. The first incident was a leaky shower that ended up damaging the ceiling in the bedroom below. This took 5 week to get fixed, with explanation of "that is how long it takes, and just don't use that shower". The second incident was that, for work related reasons, we had to break our lease early. At first Dino was very understanding and easy to get the things moving to re-list. He quoted me "around $2000". My wife and I worked our tails off to have the property in top shape for the first showing. Everything went well and he received multiple applications. My wife and I were interested in how the property looked in his eyes. When asked how the property looked he texted; "Perfect, Thanks again for have the unit so presentable on Sunday. It looked better than the homes staged by the professionals that we use." We felt pretty good at that point. The third incident was actually when we moved out. We were billed for the re-listing, but the bill was actually for $1500.00, not $2000. At first this was great news, but when I asked why it was less he did not give an answer. Then with the move out Dino became very difficult to work with. He did the walk through and noticed some obvious damaged items that needed to be repaired, items we told him about prior and we understood we would need to pay for upon leaving. But as the move out date came closer Dino started to demand other items. He was very animate that the second floor windows had to be cleaned. Then he had his handyman/painter look at the property and come back with a $1500 bill to paint the property to bring it back up to "line in" shape. As I stated we expected a cost due to some minor damage, broken outlet face plate and three places in the same wall where paint tore away as I removed a 3M picture hanging sticker. But this bill was to completely repaint rooms, floorboards, and the kitchen cabinets. My wife and I were floored. We really couldn't believe that we were going to be charged that amount for those types of issues. We reviewed all of CA state laws in regards to tenants and landlords, and the law states that normal "wear and tear" is not something we should be charged for. Dino was determined that the areas he said needed painting were caused by "damage" we caused. This was form the same person who two weeks earlier said the place looked "perfect". He went round and round with my wife and me about the charges. We felt he was being unreasonable and charging us too much. He waited until the last moment to get the things completed so we felt obligated to go with his estimate instead of bringing in multiply bids. He then tells us that the landlord agreed to pay $500 of the painting bill, although she doesn't obligated too. Again I was shocked, but felt validated that the landlord saw that the areas Dino fixed were in excess and didn't feel we were responsible. To add to this disaster, he charged us for a blind that would not open due to age and the internal mechanism breaking. Again, normal "wear and tear" but our responsibility. I feel that Dino is a great property manager for the owners, but acted like predator to us as tenants. We felt alone and that we had no one on our side. The best thing I can say it the property was great and really helped us transition to CA. But Dino is an unjust, and unfair business man. read more
