Hi, I just left the store in Venice. I went there with my mom and I had a terrible frustration experience. The sales girl was so MEAN. She started laughing at my face and she was making funny of me for no reason. I don't know her name but she has blonde hair and she was wearing a black shorts. I'm very disappointed. You guys can't have someone like that working for you. It doesn't make any sense. I felt disrespected. You guys can't treated people that way. It's ugly. My mom got so disappointed. I got ashamed because I took her to the store to check it out and get some presents. We spend a lot money to be treated like that. SO FRUSTRATING! I hope you guys do something about it. I ordered online directly. I had issues with fit, quality and condition. I swear I received used items, the appliqué already freying right out of the bag...So I had to deal with a lot of your customer service people. Natalie was great, but I rate everyone else I had to deal with at a whopping 0. Your return policy is so rigid and I feel it is very greedy. Making me pay to ship each item separately back to you, 3 items total, and I am in Southern California too, at 10 dollars per package because you are too stupid to figure out 3 RA #'s in one package? Give me a f'n break! I sent back 7 separate orders with over 1000 dollars worth of merchandise, to London in ONE package with 7 different RA #'s Are you really that stupid not to be able to figure out just 3 items in my returns? The cashmere pants I paid over 600 dollars for? Obviously you sourced just about the poorest quality cashmere you could find! This scratchy fabric feels just like regular wool and not the soft quality cashmere wool that comes from the belly. That is just so greedy to charge that much for such poor quality! Refused to offer me an in store credit when the items I ordered were too big. I requested an exchange initially but they were sold out of every single size of sweatshirt. So, I asked for the in store credit so that I could purchase a different sweatshirt. They told me that I was out of luck and that if they didn't have the exchange in stock then they were unable to help me. I have to agree with what's been shared by many people that this store and its employees are very much an issue with this brand. I will fully admit that I have their clothing in my wardrobe. It is incredibly overpriced for what it is and while they make a big deal out of producing their products locally, their products are not very durable. I have one of their vintage hoodies and after two washes, the colors are starting to fade and the seams are starting to show and while you can make the argument that it's part of the charm of their "comfy" product, it's not worth over $200 for that, but I digress. I found the attitude of the two young ladies working while I popped in early on a Sunday a few weeks ago to be really off putting. No one came up to greet me. No one even asked me if they can help me with anything. In fact, I had to approach them to ask for help. That's not customer service. There is a fine line between being overly friendly and don't give a s--t and they were the ladder. The attitude almost felt like you don't look like you should be shopping here so we're not going to help you. Way to go on being brand representatives! I get this is a hip brand and their social media campaign is all the rage, but if you are hiring staff who are making active judgements about potential customers, I don't know how you can get the brand to grow. New brands are a dime a dozen and it's the ones that can connect with Ma and Pa Jones from Omaha on vacation in Venice that will grow and not the ones who only care about people who look like them. read more

I realize this is a manufacture/factory issue but every time I go I have to have the sale's associate pick out the same size 3 times because there sizing is so inconsistent. Same with the quality. Big time disappointment. Purchased a hoodie on sale online. Material is extremely thin and sizing is way off the description. Says runs small for men (I'm normally a large) and based on measurements, looked like xl was the way to go. Just received and it's massive...way bigger than a normal men's XL would be on me. I remembered second guessing ordering because the unisex aspect and sizing being a little all over but then saw this big blurb about "we'll exchange as many times as needed on us until you get the right fit for you.." something to that affect. Thought ok then what the heck worst case it'll be a few weeks until I get to wear if I have to exchange once. What they failed to mention in that statement is what's printed on the back of the invoice it's delivered with and buried in their website...anything discounted over 20% is final sale. BS for clothing this expensive with known sizing challenges between sexes. Also noticed it's now posted all over the actual product page so they must be getting hammered with complaints because they weren't there before. I've purchased for my wife and daughters in the past but this will be my last purchase period after this experience. Horrible experience with Aviator Nation. I placed an order over two weeks ago, they charged my account and have disappeared. I have emailed and called several times and no response from a human, yet I did get a robot response saying my order is unfulfilled. Therefore, they stole my money and are not delivering my order. And, I have no way to reach them. Others are writing reviews that say the same thing. I thought they were a reputable company and I could not have been more wrong. They literally stole $200. I've contacted my bank and opened a case. I will also contact my Secretary of State's office. I have never had anything like this happen. Please do not order from them. Terrible shipping times. I won't bother keeping the sweatshirt. I purchased for a vacation and it didn't make it on time despite shipping being in state, it still took over 8 days counting today and it's still not here, You'd think for a $200 hoodie they'd spring for 2 day shipping. Aviator nation is killing it in the business world, thy need to get their ish together on the CS side to support the sales volume, and for Pete's sake every order should be 2-3 days max! The staff is super friendly and helpful. There was a security guard that greeted me upon arrival asking me to sanitize my hands before browsing. While I appreciate them taking Covid-19 precautions seriously, the black-tie and suited security guard was a bit much for the small store. I loved that the fitting room was very roomy and bright with natural lighting. The interior decoration matches the beachy-vibe the clothes bring and all the clothes were neatly folded and organized. I deduct a star because their inventory is very limited. I'm not sure if it's because of a decrease in shipment/staff and bandwidth due to the pandemic... Absolutely NOT worth the price. I bought the Ninja hoodie (online and w/out seeing it in-person) for $200. The product is extremely low quality. One would assume that if a sweatshirt costs around $150-200, you would be getting a thicker/higher quality cotton (something similar to North Face/Patagonia), but it is the equivalent to a free sweatshirt that I get from attending a conference. read more

The classic story of a brand that is trendy and fun and comfy...but like "new money" the ego of it all goes to their head. My kids love this stuff, I'm not a big fan of the price but I'm also not a curmudgeon. We were visiting SoCal and my daughter had this on her short list so we wandered in glad to get out of the rain. To start, this place is super cool...perfect Venice Beach feel. But the staff has that "I'm too cool for school attitude" that often accompanies such brands. You're left wanting to remind them, "you work retail". This means, you have a job to help patrons that are potentially spending money in your place of business. Secondly, this means...you are very replaceable. But what you get is eye rolls...if you are acknowledged at all. I had a very bad experience this week. It's a really bad customer service with arrogant employees. I came to buy some nice items (a hoodie, t shirt and pants) and I asked for the changing room. And was urged from the older employee a lady with dark longer hair to leave the changing room in a aggressive way because another customer was waiting outside. I was there inside just 5minutes!! I just tried sone items on!!! I think that's a normal thing to do before your leave 400 dollars there! They have only one changing room. It's not my problem, I felt really bad treated. I've always seen this blue shop down on Abbot Kinney but never had a chance to drop by. I'm fortunate that we carry a limited selection of this line at my work, so I was happy to finally get a chance to see the entire bright collection, especially their amazing Stripe-stitched hoodie I've had my eye on. I was willing to forgo my work discount for a better color that I thought could have been found here. I'm sorry to say the service was less than stellar. Now the girl was talking to some guy who had bought items when I had first walked in, post-sale. No quick hello, but this stuff happens. There were about 4 other people in the store checking stuff out and she made a beeline to greet them after the guy finally left which is fine, since they were there before me. What didn't make me happy was that she right away made a beeline to the new people that came in AFTER me, as I had been there for a good 10 minutes or so. Obviously after that amount of time, I should have just left, but that crucial timing was when I was really looking to select a purchase. I don't want to say I'm clearly NOT their target customer, but, well, I guess I just blurted that out. I even wandered more toward the back of the shop, where another girl who worked there glanced briefly at me then returned to playing on her phone. I guess this could have been business related... What makes this sadder is that the owner (pretty blonde girl with an equally amazingly creative brother; must run in the family) had stopped into my work once and we had a really nice talk. I was happy initially to walk into her shop, but left feeling less than satisfied. One star given: for the fact they DID have the hoodie I had wanted...in my size. Which I did not buy. Appalled at my treatment today. I'm a frequent shopper here and spend over a hundred dollars almost every weekend. I was dismissed with arrogance when enquiring about an item I received an email about what was was a 'current season' shirt. When I asked if items of a similar cut were going to be coming in, it was met with a haughty "I don't know, just what's here here now" And when I was searching for something similar I was whispered about inappropriately which made me feel very uncomfortable. A lovely girl with long dark hair came to help me so this is no fault of hers. But the guy with brownish hair coloring and a hat has a disgusting attitude. Clothing here is very stylish and beautiful! It's really expensive though, so don't be surprised when you see an $800 dollar tag on a jacket. The store is very beautiful and has a ping pong table in the back, which my girlfriend and I played for and hour. They also have a ukulele and a guitar that add to the entertainment. I really enjoyed visiting this store. Service here isn't the greatest, but at least the beauty that this store has to offer is enough. I recommend checking this place out. read more

As a sweat pants/shirt connoisseur I would gladly dress in Aviator Nation every day of the week if it weren't for the $100 tag on most pants and tops. Even the t's are $$$. But, they hand make their clothes, the designs are like buying a painting that you put on your body and the material feels like a baby's bottom. They known their market and there are plenty of people that will pay the price--I would if I made more money.
